Unfortunetly this is our closest overpriced mediocre Mexican restaurant. So when it reopened like many we ordered takeout again. 2 carne asada fries and a burrito supreme. 1 of the fries ended up coming with chicken. Fine whatever mistakes happen. Burrito supreme then ended up being filled with chicken (it's supposed to be beef). We call explain the situation manager says they'll replace. Get here 15 minutes later order still has not been put in. Had a chance to save our business. On a normal day the food for being as expensive as it is and the small portion size for price is mediocre but again this is the best we have so close in suburbia. Maybe they should have stayed closed after the fire. Seems from many other reviews of late other patrons agree.OH AND: they gave us a gift card for the troubles... $0 balance. Hilarious. After re-opening from the fire, this place has taken a huge dive with service and food. Asked for forks and napkins 3 times before we had to get them ourselves. Asked for chips and salsa which arrived nearly at the end of our meal. Asked for Bohemia and Dos Equis (listed in the menu) but they did not have. Waiter took both of our food orders. My wife's arrived at the table and we were told they did not have mine on Fridays. I love the Castle Rock location and was excited to come to Littleton. We got sat quickly however that is where the trouble started. After 3 people who were sat after us got their order taken I finally asked the manager if someone could take our order I asked the waitressfor mild salsa and had to ask 3 different times before she brought it. While we waited I watched a waiter pour a cup of water back into the water pitcher for other customers. I asked the manager after they tried to refill my water with the same pitcher. He said that it was at a table no one sat at but there was not water at any empty tables so how could that have been? There was no water waiting for us when we sat down. He did bring us a free appetizer which was nice but...then we got our food from someone else finished reached around to get our own to go containers and waited another 15 minutes for the check. This Los Dos Potrillos on San Juan Way has improved over the years. The first time I ate there it was not good. I have decided to give it another chance, so I went back a few years later, and the food and service was much better. They have a big menu with several great meals. One of my favorites is the Los Dos Potrillos burrito. It is a large chicken and bean burrito smothered in their excellent green chile. My daughter was in town from New York, I told her about Los Dos and how good the food and service is. We went there last night and had a bad experience. He said I'll bring you flour and you can switch them out, again, very rudely. I have rarely had a bad experience at the Kipling restaurant off C470 but it was really bad last night. Although Los Dos Potrillos is a chain, I just had to try it. I'm a fan of small strip malls and this was the perfect location. Every single staff member was so kind and took great care of us. The service was attentive and quick. If you have a large party, this restaurant can surely accommodate. With several large seating areas, Los Dos can certainly get packed, but it was only a little busy when I ate here. Complimentary chips and salsa was good, but the salsa was too spicy for me. Like most Mexican restaurants the menu is several pages long and packed with tons of different options. It was a bit overwhelming for me, but I finally settled on a combination plate. Chicken enchilada, chile relleno, taco, rice and beans. Yeah, that's all one plate and boy was it yummy.
