I stopped in today to support MC1, the fallen police officer benefit, for the Golden police officer that was killed a few weeks ago. The building has great parking, is clean and well maintained. The staff were extremely nice and chatty. Our order was taken quickly and drinks delivered. Sadly, the order itself was horribly incorrect and not edible. I ordered a veggie calzone with extra mushrooms and NO black olives as they make me sick to my stomach. My friend ordered a spinach and ricotta calzone. We ordered them to go. When we got home, my calzone was full of black olives and her calzone was not cooked inside and too doughy to eat. We spent good money and didn't eat. That's always disappointing. I wouldn't choose to return.

Prior to today (1/5/24) I had been here to pick up pizzas a couple of times to take home. They advertise that the dough is made fresh daily in-house, and it really seemed to make a difference for me to enjoy and digest pizza. Mr H. and I were happy and impressed. But whoah! Today I dined in with my Mom and son, and all the food was exceptional. The pricing is very fair, and the freshness and quality of ingredients was evident in every dish. Mom had a Calzone, which was stuffed and fully baked. Son and I split Lasagne (meaty and cheesy awesomeness) and the meatball sandwich (same). The Marinara sauce is something special. The menu is so diverse and impressive. And I just realized my photo of the Winter special offerings didn't post. They had some great choices, including build-your-own pasta, Tortellini, and other tempting items. Love what they did with the black and white theme. From the custom mural to photographs, it really set a nice mood. And our server was attentive without hovering, so we felt comfortable lingering over our meal.

Large pizza. Crust was like cardboard :(

Just buy a frozen pizza.... Our pizza was burnt and the crust tastes premade and ordered in not like fresh dough. Between the burnt toppings and crust we were very disappointed. The mozzarella sticks taste and looked a lot like frozen mozzarella sticks that were nuked in a microwave. They were soggy and not even melted. We tried to pop them in the air fryer and that took them from a 2/10 to a 4/10. If you looking for fresh, homemade food, that you enjoy and is worth spending $35 on, this is NOT it. Very disappointed and sad to write this :(

You get seated in the dining room which is fairly large. The tables and atmosphere is nice if a little dated. This restaurant has been around for 59 years and many patrons come time and time again. We came on a Sunday for a pre-birthday lunch/dinner (does anyone else call it linner?) The server was very friendly and we started with soft drinks and an order of mozarella fritti, which is fried mozarella served with their homemade marinara sauce. It was fried to perfection, hot and delicious. The entrees come with soup or salad and bread. The salad was nice and fresh and perfect before pasta. I chose Romano's Triple Treat, which comes with eggplant parmigiana, chesse ravioli and pasta. It comes with meatball, sausage or mushrooms. As it is served with two I chose one meatball and one sausage. It is a very large portion so a lot was taken home. Everything was cooked well and I had the homemade spaghetti for my pasta. Romanos is delicious and will definitely be coming back.

Service was family-friendly, the house wine was a respectable plonk, and the bolognese and lasagna (and caesar salad) were all what I expected and enjoyed. Seating is limited, and there are no reservations, so plan your arrival timing carefully. We showed up at 5 on a Friday and had no problem. By the time we left, it was SRO in the lobby and some folk waiting outside. On that same note, there is parking along and in front of the building, but Littleton street parking can be a little weird; factor in time for a short walk. Enjoyed ourselves. It's far enough away from us to not be our first future pick, but it's definitely on the list for a return visit.

Anyway, we had great service and it's a nice space. Pretty sure we started with garlic knots and the burrata. Both were very good. I got the linguine and clams in the spicy red sauce. It was effing amazing. Perfect spice, and lots of clams! My cousin got the Bolognese, which as it says is smokey... but to the point that it takes over the dish. We then got the spumoni bomba. Effing delicious. I completely understand why this place was packed.

When we arrived, the hostess greeted us by saying she saw we were celebrating, making us feel special from the moment we walked in. Then Noah came over to welcome us. He wished us a happy anniversary and was just the sweetest, so attentive from the start. He brought us garlic knots on the house for our first visit. They were to die for, and such a lovely way to make us feel welcome! We ordered salted caramel espresso martinis, and they were delicious. My husband had the lobster ravioli, and I had the chicken piccata. The food was divine! I also love that they offer both full and half portions. I ordered the half portion, and it was plenty; my husband happily finished his full one. A gentleman whose name I didn't catch poured our wine. He was so kind, and we enjoyed chatting with him about California wines. Later, after our cannoli arrived, he came back, pulled up a chair, and asked us about our love story. Such a thoughtful, personal touch. We truly felt the family spirit of this restaurant. It says so much about the owners and their team, the care they show their guests shines through in the service. We'll definitely be back! I wish I had taken pictures, but take my word for it: check this place out! My husband even said that, in the nine years we've been together, this was one of our top three dates ever.

I ordered online ahead of time so when I got there all I had to do was simply pick it up. I arrived to it a bit earlier than the promised time so I would take some photos of its exterior and interior. To be frank I didn't even remember what it looked like inside out back then. Upon entering, the lady upfront at the reception greeted me politely. I told her I placed my order online and she wasted no time to go to the kitchen to check on my food. I didn't think it was ready yet so I took a good look at the dining area. While I was taking some photos, she walked back up to me with a bag that contained my food. "Do you need utensils?" is what she kindly asked to which I said no. The time was a bit before 5pm. The restaurant wasn't yet in the peak of the dinner rush period. Service was thus quick/swift. What I got me today were... -Focaccia rolls/knots ($2) -Caprese with a side (4oz) salmon add on (medium rare) ($19.75) -Side pesto cream sauce (large) ($4.50) Once I got home, I started my much anticipated dinner with the three items. I had a bag of Trofie pasta in my pantry so all I needed was some good pesto sauce for it. The sauce was light with a reasonable amount of salt; nice balanced flavor indeed. It's nice that there is an option to buy just the sauce on their online portal. This truly convenienced my ability to cook my own pasta. When eating pasta, good bread is a must. Those garlic knot type looking focaccia rolls (6 pc) were justifiably good accompaniments to the pasta with the pesto sauce. Caprese is also a staple as a starter in the cuisine. The side 4oz salmon was perfectly medium rare. Sorry Colore for being absent from your establishment for over 10 years. It sure was good to experience you again. It was a much needed visit to say the least. Those three items I got from you tonight made my Sunday dinner so special and perfect. Enjoyed it.

We made a reservation and were seated promptly at a large outdoor table offering both sunny and shaded spots. The setting is lovely, a nicely restored historic building with a Victorian vibe in downtown Littleton. We ordered: * Roasted Brussels Sprouts ($10) - sopressata, shaved parmesan, oregano-infused white balsamic * Chicken Salad Sandwich ($17) - toasted whole wheat, grilled chicken, dried cranberries, tomato, apple, walnut * Short Rib Grilled Cheese ($20) - beef short rib, white cheddar, tomato, horseradish sauce, arugula, caramelized onion, sourdough * (2) Black Forbidden Rice Salmon Bowls ($25) - cabbage slaw, cilantro, avocado, pickled red onion, cilantro vinaigrette Plus three cocktails: two Bees Knees and one Manhattan. Service was excellent and the food was very well executed. The shared Brussels sprouts were a hit. The salmon bowls were flavorful and nicely prepared, as was the chicken salad sandwich. The fries were hot, crispy, and tasty. However, the standout was the Short Rib Grilled Cheese. Absolutely fantastic, and definitely what I'll be ordering next time. Tip: Restaurant parking is available in back of the restaurant.
