The mimosas that we had were quite tasty. The patio was a great place to sit and enjoy the weather and have a nice visit.

My pork tenderloin with caramelized onions and some sort of apple glaze was fantastic. My husband's steak and fries were fine but he felt like the meat was tough. Our friend got the bison dish and she said it was delicious but a lot of food. All the dishes were healthy portions. We all ended up taking our leftovers home. We made a reservation and were seated promptly at a large outdoor table offering both sunny and shaded spots. The setting is lovely, a nicely restored historic building with a Victorian vibe in downtown Littleton. We ordered: * Roasted Brussels Sprouts ($10) - sopressata, shaved parmesan, oregano-infused white balsamic * Chicken Salad Sandwich ($17) - toasted whole wheat, grilled chicken, dried cranberries, tomato, apple, walnut * Short Rib Grilled Cheese ($20) - beef short rib, white cheddar, tomato, horseradish sauce, arugula, caramelized onion, sourdough * (2) Black Forbidden Rice Salmon Bowls ($25) - cabbage slaw, cilantro, avocado, pickled red onion, cilantro vinaigrette Plus three cocktails: two Bees Knees and one Manhattan. Service was excellent and the food was very well executed. The shared Brussels sprouts were a hit. The salmon bowls were flavorful and nicely prepared, as was the chicken salad sandwich. The fries were hot, crispy, and tasty. However, the standout was the Short Rib Grilled Cheese. Absolutely fantastic, and definitely what I'll be ordering next time. Tip: Restaurant parking is available in back of the restaurant.

The restaurant has a great online reservation system, which made reserving a table very easy, including making a modification to it the day before. In additional the public off-street parking had plenty of space and was easy to access. Upon arrival the front desk greeted us warmly, confirmed our reservations, and we were seated right away. The server was quick to greet us and gave us plenty of time to review the menu for drinks and food, which primarily was Italian based dishes (as expected). The server also informed us of the soup of the day and daily specials, which I do wish he could have voluntarily provided the price of the daily specials. We had full dinner, which included complimentary bread, appetizer, entrees, and desserts. The Fried Cheese appetizer was prepared as breaded cheese balls, served on a layer of marinara sauce. The perfect size for an appetizer for the 3 of us. Entrees were all served in the appropriate timing after the appetizer, consisting of a Vegetable Lasagna, Chicken Saltimbocca over Potato Gnocchi, and the daily special of pan seared Branzino fish over Potato Gnocchi. All the entrees were served hot and fresh from the kitchen, and each was flavored very well. To top off the meal, we each ordered a dessert, which as the entrees, were served fresh and tasty. The Tiramisu was a traditional serving, which the Carrot Cake and Peach Bread Pudding were more creative, but all of them were excellent. Overall, the dinner had excellent service from front of house to table service, and we never had a moment when we lacked anything. I especially enjoyed the pace of the meal, never feeling rushed, which gave us all ample time to visit with friends over a nice meal. One thing to be aware of is overall menu pricing is a bit on the high side, depending on premium entrees, but there is a nice variance of choices. Even with this, I would not hesitate to return, due to the service and atmosphere for a fine meal. Tips for your visit: Sunday dinner was not crowded at all, and noise level was very low for easy conversations, but in case of peak times, use the reservation system. They also were very accommodating for separate checks, just be sure to tell your server at the start of the meal.

The hostess was extremely friendly, very conversational, and we definitely got that Southern hospitality. Our waiter, Ben, was extremely helpful when it came to questions we had and dishes that he would recommend us to try as first timers. We started off with their monthly special of fried okra and it was very delicious especially dipped in their homemade sauce. The okra was lightly battered, fried to perfection, and had a little spicy kick to it for every bite. Both my wife and I went with Ben's recommendation of the Monica-Smothered Catfish and Pork Chops. It was great to know that you could order the lunch portion during dinner hours and we did just that as we weren't too hungry after getting off the plane. The catfish fillets were cooked perfectly and it paired well with the crawfish tail cream sauce. One of the best catfish dishes I have eaten. As for the pork chop, it was grilled perfectly as well and the vegetables were a nice side. Also, one of the best pork chop dishes I have eaten. The creamed potatoes were delicious, but I didn't expect melted butter on top. Since the restaurant was busy for dinner service, there was a hiccup with our toddler's meal and Ben resolved it very quickly. I wished we had room for dessert because the descriptions were definitely mouth watering and Ben did ask us a few times if we wanted to try the beignets as they are a top seller. Service was excellent as our waiter and the other staff made our dining experience very smooth and seamless. They checked in on us in a timely manner and made sure we weren't missing anything. The restaurant was clean and had a good mix of the Colorado outdoor and the Southern/New Orleans decor.
