We were in town for a granddaughter's dance recital and wanted to have a special dinner the evening before. It was First Friday so the place was packed. We had reservations so were seated right away. We started our meal with the steak bites appetizer. They were very flavorful but more tough than I expected. Really had to work to chew it. That was followed by some clam chowder that was tasty but quite thin in consistency and, if there were any clams in it, they were well hidden. I then had the coconut shrimp. Really, nothing special. My husband had the halibut and it was quite good. The specialty drinks were delicious and the service very good. Very, very noisy. Certainly not worth $120.00. We'll try somewhere else next time. read more

Clean and comfortable restaurant in a small SW Washington town, Camas, WA. Service is always good and the food is fresh and aimed at pleasing the Hawaiian palate in me. This late lunch trip I had the Loco Moco (two eggs over medium perched high on a mound of white rice, grilled onions and a 8-oz. piece of ground beef with delicious brown gravy). My husband had the Hawaiian Longboard Beer battered Halibut, seasoned fries, creamy coleslaw with pineapple. A little treat after lunch a Key Lime tort and a Chocolate flourless cake with raspberry swirl. Recommend for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, check their times. read more

This is a welcome addition to downtown Camas. This was our second visit and unfortunately it is still work in progress. I had the Loco Moco ($14) and it was ok. I ordered the eggs easy over and unfortunately they were over hard which denied me the oozing yolk, gravy, rice and burger in one bite experience. The gravy was good which saved the burger which was dry. At $14 it was pricey for the portion size. The venue is nice but the service was a little slow. Camas really needs this place to succeed and we will give it a few more tries. Hopefully things will improve. read more

We try to support local restaurants (and businesses) during the Pandemic and usually give cash tips if we can. The reason for the poor review is that we showed up 3 or 4 minutes late for our $60 plus order and were told that they were just cutting it up and it would be ready within 5 MINUTES. 17 MINUTES later and after BEING TOLD two times that it was coming, our order was ready. Happy Hour ends at 5pm! The prices are less than $10. What I got from the Happy Hour menu: 1. Calamari steak 2. Coconut Shrimp 3. Fries 4. Mai Tai 5. Drink of the Day: Grapefruit cocktail The servings are small but they're good and the coconut shrimp doesn't feel rough or overcooked. The server gave me ketchup and spicy sauce for the fries. The fries are good and flavorful. However, i am THAT weird person who likes it "Less is More." The spice for the fries is a bit much. It's hard to tell if the fries were fresh. Btw, they're not, i know what freshly cut potatoes taste like but the fries is just a side show so I'm not going to count that in my ratings. I also ordered the Poke. Had to update my review after going 3 times now. I attempted to go the 2nd time well before closing time and they ran out of the only Hawaiian dish they had. Not sure what kind of teriyaki fusion Tommy was going for but having only 1 Hawaiian option is not very Hawaiian. They have more on their breakfast menu but isn't available all day. (which is also not very Hawaiian restaurant) The next morning I attempted to eat the loco moco since I was assured it has much more rice than the eggs and meat choice plate. Disappointingly, it came not on a bed of rice as described but a thin patty of one? What's up with going cheap on the rice serving? The gravy was also full of onions not tastefully mixed together with a sour like salty flavor. Perhaps the chef cooked it down too much? Not sure. The staff was nice 2 of 3 times total so I'd say it's averages out and the attempt to provide some kind of Hawaiian experience, I appreciate and commend. Personally, I'm never going to eat here again. There are other places to eat in this little town that stay true to their advertised cuisine. Once again, if it wasn't for the amazing service and effort, I'd give it a lower rating. read more

This restaurant is one of my favorite places in Camas. The food is divine: Sushi- can't beat its freshness and flavor! Buddha bowl- filling, wholesome and full of yum. Lobster pot stickers- be still my beating heart! Cocktails- to die for. Location- welcoming and spectacularly quaint in the old Camas Hotel. Service- with a smile, friendly and warm. Happy hour- I always leave happy. Super-duper recommend Tommy O's. You are absolutely in for the treat of treats with this one. Perfection on a plate! Pot stickers. Divine. Pork Belly fried rice. Scrumptious. Butterfish. Heaven. Big Kahuna Roll with real crab instead of the Krab. Delightful. Bread Pudding. To DIE for!! Downtown Camas couldn't be luckier to get Tommy O's in its pocket this year. Located at the Camas Hotel, it's in the town's perfect location amidst all the adorable boutiques, coffee shops and bars. Tommy O's is charming, perfect for a date or a casual dinner. I personally went on a date night with my husband and we were very happy choosing Tommy O's for a little dressy dinner. The ambiance is great - comfortable, not too loud, but classy and inviting as well. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive to our needs. We were sat right away and the food and drinks were awesome. For the price, I found our cocktails, appetizers and dinners to be reasonable. I had the Blackberry Lemon Drop which was really fun and different. Not too sweet but with a fun kick from the Turbinado sugared rim. The Lilikoi Margarita was also fantastic! The Chambord and passion fruit flavor is killer. I wouldn't hesitate to order those two again. I had the Mac Nut Halibut for dinner after also having the pork belly bites and the calamari. (Yes, I love food!!) Oh my gosh, it was all an explosion of flavor and honestly I mainly just remember how good everything tasted. I'll be back to try dessert next time! Before looked at the menu, I wasn't expecting Hawai'ian food. But for a change of pace, I decided to try it. SO glad I did! Terry was our server. When asked, she provided amazing recommendations all the way through. Mai Tai, Kalua pork tacos, lobster and shrimp potstickers, then the entree with more Kalua pork and teriyaki beef. OMG isn't that enough?? I guess not. HAD to try the chocolate cake thing for dessert. Yes, I waddled out one full but happy customer. I'll be back, but somehow need to digest this first. We hadn't been to Tommy O's since they moved to Camas, but had great memories of the previous location. We took our friends here about a month ago and all of us were blown away by the great service and flavors. What a great find! We're staying at Skamania Lodge, and we've been looking for some above average food since we arrived, without much luck. We basically ate burgers, pizza, fish and chips and the like up until today. Finally we found this place, everything was really good. I got the Mac nut halibut, which was really delicious. My wife got the miso sake butterfish and she loved it. Daughter got tuna and salmon nigiri, and she was very happy. We then finished off with all the three desserts, which I totally forgot to take a picture of, darn! In order of my preference: 1. flourless chocolate cake, a decadent rich creamy chocolate cake topped with heavy cream, really really good! 2. Key lime pie, a modern twist on the classic lime pie, super creamy and delicious 3. Coconut something (don't remember the name), a coconut milk creamy jelly on top of a coconut cookie base topped with whipped cream, very good. Amazing service and great quaint view of Camas. We did not plan to eat here but we were starving and decided to try it. Food was amazing!!!! Tommy O's had the best khalua pork quesadillas I've ever had in my life. My boyfriend and I are both picky and we both agreed the food was so good. We also had the sushi and poke bowl. Instead the chicken was dry, rough (suggesting overcooked), and flavorless aside from a small smothering of sauce. Leaving one star because the waitress was nice. We are staying at the Camas Hotel and went to Tommy O's for dinner on a Tuesday evening. We're given menus and told to sit wherever we wished. Found a table outside, in the 15 minutes we were there the waiter and waitress went by 5 times without saying a word. I would not recommend Tommy O's and question their connection to the Camas Hotel. There are many good restaurants in Camas and we ended up at Feast @ 316 which is outstanding. read more

The food is fresh, full of flavor and just all around dynamite!! Prices were incredibly fair. Half of what they would be in a big city for the same quality of food.
