I was on a quest to find a couple pairs of men's pants for a friend of mine. I was striking out left and right when I saw a similar pair at Tommy Bahama. I walked in and no sooner did I put my hand on the clothes rack a saleswoman materialized, asked what I was looking for, found one pair on the rack and called for the second pair to be brought up from the back. My head was spinning she was so fast. There were no questions. I was in and out within minutes. Unfortunately the pants didn't fit so we returned to return them. The return transaction went very smooth and seamless. They were polite and gracious. I haven't shopped here before this but based on this experience I would come again. read more

Great selection of clothing here - anything they don't have in your size can be ordered and shipped to you at no charge. They have great service on weekdays, but on weekends when there are more people in the store they are a bit disorganized. On Thursday when I was in the store the salesgirl was super attentive and helped me find a dress I fell in love with but of which they didn't have my size. I filled out my information for the order and left around closing time. She was able to find a store that was still open and had the item ordered for me with an e-receipt in my email by the time I got home! Now that is stellar service! The next time I was at this store was on a Saturday - talk about bad timing. I got in line and 3 other people got in line behind me within a few minutes, while one salesperson was in the back room and others were on lunch break or something. One cashier was ringing, as the other cash register was not working. Anyway, one guy finally came out of the backroom, noticed the line, and started helping to clear it. This Tommy Bahama location is in Bellevue Square right outside the upper floor of Nordstrom. Convenient location for when you shop Nordstrom for Tommy wear, can't find the styles you want and walk out to find 'all' the stuff you want. For those who don't know, yes Nordstrom also sells Tommy wear but they only carry limited styles; especially in women's clothing/accessories. I love this location because it's bright and airy with lots of light and also has almost everything that they carry in larger stores. Of course the men's department is equal if not bigger in size than the women's. As my husband mentioned "It's so nice to finally find a store where men's has more selection than women's." Everytime we've gone to J. Crew he sadly goes to the back corner that has maybe 2 fixtures of men's clothing. So this is something he is super happy about. I love the women's clothing here as it's comfortable and it's also stylish. The color combinations often are flattering and ones you can wear repeatedly not just 'one season'. Their dresses are by far my favorite from the maxi dresses to even some of the shorter ones. Staff can be hit or miss depending on the traffic of the store as they're trying to let you shop but also trying to help those who need more sizes, etc. Definitely check them out next time you're going on vacation. They are the only place I come to for year round 'vacation-y' type clothes especially if you're lucky enough to go to an island (Hawaii, Caribbean, etc) or to a wedding. On the spendier side but the quality is unbeatable. read more

I received a shirt purchased from TB as a gift. The tags were all intact - nothing was removed. As an old guy that doesn't shop much, I assumed I could go to the store in Bellevue Square for help and exchange the shirt for something I liked more. I was excited to find something and was fully expecting to add more money on top of my exchange. My helper was relatively new and she had to wait for the more experienced employee to help. After looking at the tags she told me the shirt wasn't purchased at the Bellevue Square store and I could go to the Tommy Bahama at the Outlet Store by the Tulalip Casino. I asked her to write out all the information - address and phone number so I knew exactly where to go. She did so which I appreciated. Today I decided to make the 60 mile round trip and exchange the shirt. When I got there they looked at the tags and said it wasn't purchased there. I told them that their Bellevue Square store told me I could drive to Tulalip and exchange it and the gal told me that 'they always tell people that.' Needless to say, I'm pissed off that Bellevue Square store told me something that wasn't accurate and neither store was interested in doing anything to help. I wasted my time and money - and feel that neither store gives a damn. I've purchased many items from TB over the years - but won't be back. read more

Have grown to love this store. Not only are the clothes very high quality that last but the staff at this store are simply amazing. They are genuine, sincere and hard working. The store has been clean and well presented on every visit and the vibe is welcoming and low key. If you have never been here be sure to check it out- prices are higher then what I am used to but the clothes are well worth it for the quality and design. Solid 3.5 stars. Almost a luxury brand, but good prints, especially in the summer when they get their Hawaiian action out lol. Other than the pineapples and palm trees, their shirts are generally simple. I still don't see their connection to the NFL, they're so rough, and TB so beachy lol... Went to bellevue sq store 8/4/19 at 12 noon. was going to buy 2 pair jeans and a couple of polo shirts. Need changing room marked for disabled to try on pants - yes have a pass to do so. Told sales associate (s) who then watched another customer enter room - no disability - told me not to worry - would only be a few minutes. Dod not bother to wait. Obviously will shop elsewhere and suggest those with disabilities do so as well. read more

Unfortunately I didn't have the best sales experience a couple days ago. I was in a bit of a hurry, time crunched. I was there to try on a few bathing suits. The girl put me in my dressing room and told me she was coming back and never checked on me. I didn't have time to get all the way dressed, go out find my correct size and then try on the new size. It would have been very helpful if she would have checked on me. There was no one else in the store since I was there right after opening on a weekday. When I walked out of the dressing room she was folding some clothes on a table, I let the sales girl that helped me know that I didn't appreciate her not coming to check on me to see if I needed any other sizes. It ultimately costed them a few hundred dollars in sales that morning. A little customer service really does go a long way. read more

I have spent a bunch of money, and at the UW store. Primarily for the XXX large mens' stuff that is cool. I went on 12202016. I had the $50.00 off card. The man, who helped me was great, but after that it went downhill. He gave my Seahawk $158.00 shirt to an older man to ring up. This was a Christmas present, right. The man, with no eye contact, said, "we are out of gift boxes." He then scrunched up the shirt, into a strange sponge and was about to shove it into a bag. I asked, "can I have some tissue, please." He then threw a piece of tissue into the bag. I was in kind of a shock. This was supposed to be a Christmas present for my husband. I looked at it today, to wrap it and it is all wrinkled and frigging goofed up, I now will have to take it to a cleaner. I don't have a lot of money, thanks a lot Tommy.
