A very gracious staff person, Yuka, served us espresso graciously; we had skipped lunch thinking it would be a quick trip -- but Yuka heard us and found some delicious cookies for us, which we really appreciated...kept us from giving up and leaving the store. She also learned that we did not know about the perfume line and took a thoughtful moment to introduce us to the possibility of some new scents. When at last we received an associate's help it was Nikita. She helped us look at half a dozen different bags and wallets that we had scoped out in advance. There was a beautiful little cream colored lambskin with gold colored chain, but budget did not permit that one to come home with us. However we bonded with the new Slouchy design -- the shape was beautiful and size was just right for carrying my 13" MacBook Air. It was interesting to see more of the clothing line that was available, especially the jeans with the LV on the back pocket, and good to see the shoes as well as the perfume stand. Everything about the service was excellent as possible. Parking is validated, or valet is $7 in the Bravern parking lot.

The bag was never worn or used, but after receiving it, she decided she preferred a different style. Since I live in the Seattle area, I went to the Bellevue store to return the bag and choose another one. The only item missing was the dust bag because my mother had kept it after receiving the gift. I completely understood that this could be an issue, so I immediately offered several reasonable solutions. I offered to purchase a replacement dust bag or have the cost deducted from my refund. I wasn't asking for special treatment--I was simply trying to resolve the situation fairly. Unfortunately, the store manager refused to help. She repeatedly told me there was nothing she could do and that I would have to drive all the way back to Oregon to process the return. That was extremely unreasonable, especially since the handbag was in brand-new, unused condition with the original receipt, and I was willing to pay for the missing dust bag. What disappointed me most wasn't the policy--it was the manager's attitude. There was no empathy, no willingness to explore any options, and no effort to provide the level of service I have always associated with Louis Vuitton. It honestly felt like she simply didn't want to process the return and was looking for a reason to deny it. When I asked to speak with a manager, she informed me that she was the store manager. I then told her I would be contacting Louis Vuitton Corporate to share my experience. Suddenly, her response changed. She agreed to process the return and said she would "help me this time." If the return could be completed after I mentioned contacting Corporate, why was I initially told there was absolutely nothing she could do? That made me feel like the issue wasn't really the missing dust bag--it was a lack of willingness to help until the situation was escalated. Luxury shopping is about more than buying an expensive product--it's also about the customer experience. I have spent thousands of dollars with Louis Vuitton over the years and have always been treated with professionalism, respect, and appreciation. This was the first time I have ever needed to return an item, and I never expected to receive this kind of treatment over something as minor as a missing dust bag when I had already offered to pay for a replacement. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. One negative interaction won't change my opinion of the Louis Vuitton brand, but it certainly changed my opinion of this location. I hope the store manager receives additional customer service training and understands that loyalty should be met with respect, empathy, and a genuine willingness to help customers find reasonable solutions.

I walked in and no sooner did I put my hand on the clothes rack a saleswoman materialized, asked what I was looking for, found one pair on the rack and called for the second pair to be brought up from the back. My head was spinning she was so fast. There were no questions. I was in and out within minutes. Unfortunately the pants didn't fit so we returned to return them. The return transaction went very smooth and seamless. They were polite and gracious. I haven't shopped here before this but based on this experience I would come again.

Also, one really FANTASTIC benefit is that simple alterations like hems for pants can take as little as 20 min! It took longer to walk to Woods coffee, order a drink and come back. Obviously, it won't be 20 min on a super busy day, but still it is super fast compared to Nordies or other stores. Plus it's free! Can't be beat on that.

My mother-in-law visited to get her first Hermes silk scarf, and from initial greeting to final send-off, she was treated very well. And in this case, that's all that really mattered. Daniel was the salesperson for our party of four, and walked my mil through the various steps: of first choosing the pattern, then suggesting/illustrating the various ways to wear the scarf. I could see her gaining in confidence as she determined what she did or didn't like, and that only came about because Daniel provided such personalized and unhurried time for her. The sale included the finishing touches, including gift wrapping. While he was doing this, I chatted with him about the history of Hermes and their various product lines. It's fascinating, and got to learn a bit more about their silk scarfs, its seasonality, and why folks love it so. As for the store, it's a very large two-story space, located in the Shops of the Bravern. The store itself doesn't have an elevator, requiring one to use the outside elevators and then be let into the locked first floor entryway. With this much space, each display seemed like its own world, and even though it was not uncrowded. Finally, someone recommended to go into the North Face store. Closest NF store is Bellevue Square. When I arrived, I was greeted and after I posed my question about repairs - I was directed to the cash out desk. There Greg greeted me and asked what the issue was. I explained that I've had this coat for years - that zipper slider pull was broke. He then went into action - looking up the style number and all the while explaining that the coat was under warranty. Once he was able to read/interpret the style number he issued me a gift card that I was able to get a brand new coat. Greg was amazing! Service at North Face Bellevue Square was the best. What a pleasure to hear 'yes' versus no. Thank you Greg! PS - I left my ear pods in my old jacket - called and YES!!! They had the earbuds. Would have given 0 stars if I could. Tried to return an online order on Black Friday and the store…read morerefused because they were "too busy" -- there were maybe 10 people in the entire place. Both the associate and the manager kept saying the return process would "take too long" and be impossible, especially since it was paid with Apple Pay. When I mentioned it would have been helpful if the website noted not to return items in-store on Black Friday, the manager defended the brand by saying, "As you can tell, we are very busy." He even added, "If the line gets backed up, it's on you", which was a wild thing to say to a customer simply trying to make a return. I then asked for a gift card instead (since Apple Pay isn't supported for in-store returns), and was told the gift card system was conveniently down. After driving 45 minutes to get here, it was clear this was a mix of system limitations and a complete unwillingness to help. Immediately went to the Vuori store for another return and the experience was the exact opposite. The North Face Bellevue Square location was easily the worst customer service I've experienced at any brand store. Clearly they don't care about losing a longtime customer.
