The cornbread muffins were complimentary, soft, sweet, and honestly the best I've ever had! For dinner, I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The fries reminded us of Peg's Place--we love and miss them! The pulled pork was awesome, especially with the Honey BBQ sauce. The other dinner was for sharing: a platter with 4 meats and 2 sides. We chose 2 orders of ribs, brisket, and Kansas City Beef Tips, with garlic mashed potatoes for the sides. Everything was delicious, BUT the beef tips were definitely our favorite. So tender and juicy, and the flavor of the KC sauce was PHENOMENAL!!! All of the staff were super friendly and very attentive. I don't know if it was because we were the first people at opening or what the challenge was, but the meats and the beans were cold. When we inquired about the cold meats the waitress indicated that the meats were in the warmer. We advised her that, whatever the case, the food was cold as if they had come from the cooler. She "replaced" the chicken with the same cold piece of chicken. When asked the waitress if she could simply warm the food in the microwave she declined and said there was nothing else they could do since the food was already in the warmer. The meats were clearly not fresh cooked/smoked. The brisket was the fattiest piece we have ever been served, with cold and congealed fat. This is the fourth time eating at BW's this year, and it is by far the worst BBQ I have ever had. And unfortunately the restaurant didn't seem to care. Sad to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Came randomly to the Clinton market (I've not been there) and here's this place that I've never been to. Long story short : Cash only, I only had three dollars, but the owner insisted that I order exactly what I wanted. So I had my egg salad and coffee and it was fantastic and this place is a jam. I can't tell you about pricing but I think it's very inexpensive and she was just so wonderful so KUDOS. A huge plus about this place is that it's small inside and there is no patio but she allowed my two small dogs inside. She was wonderful.
