This supermarket is AMAZING! They have inclusive shopping carts...one for the adults and one for future adults (customers in training). They have Cafe Du Monde coffee which absolutely blew my mind because it's a rare find. Their orchid collection is also beautiful. I wish I had a Tom Thumb where I live! read more

This is the second time I ordered birthday cake from This particular Tom Thumb. The cake is moist and not too sweet. Love the cake. But this review is particularly for the Baker decorator named Roula. She is the best. She went far and beyond to make the cake decoration for my son "Magician" Theme Birthday Party. Rude and mannerless, when i wanted to get what i was PROMISED. Listen, Manager. You told me i go later to get my stuffed animal fixed. You were not there. Instead, who was there was a woman with a crummy attitude, who wouldn't even look me in the eye. Me and my stuffed animals don't like Any of your staff members, because you all are scammers. This store used to be so much better. Not sure if the change from checkers to self check out came from the corporate or local level though I suspect it was corporate. Terrible move. It's one thing to use self check when you have a few items and a completely different when you have a week's worth of groceries. Your prices are way too high to expect people to check themselves out. Lots of elderly and disabled shop this store and what horrible service to not have a single person at a register. The only reason I'm giving you 2 stars is because the pharmacy staff is awesome. read more

Went to get some butter initially. Found some good fruit but for $4.00 for strawberries, I wish it was bigger in size for what I had to choose from. I needed fruit to pack lunches for my littles, so I just bought it. Clean store. I will say that upon check out, several lanes are blocked behind a display and I think it would be easier for customers to see all those available lanes without that in the way. Still not bad of a wait for check out. Friendly employees. Starbucks inside. Nice little eating/lounging area. Love that they have the station with the anti bacterial wipes! read more

Visited this Tom Thumb today to pick up a few items. The store was well- organized and the lines were short because they had enough staff to meet the super bowl demand. I had 4 staff members help me find what I was looking for. Each person was kind, stopped what they were doing and helped me throughout the store. I did not get anyones name but two guys were in the meat department. A manager and the girl with beautiful locs at the cashier counter. Each person made the experience great. Tried twice to order same day pickup and both times they give me items that are due the same day for pork, beef, and chicken . I can't order with a store that gives you items that are due on the same day when you're planning on making the meals for the week. Come on Tom Thumb. read more

I ordered a large tray of croissant sandwiches, two trays of vegetables with dip, a fruit bowl and cake for my manager's going away party at the office. When I arrived at the store, which was close to noon, there was only one employee working and I believe she said the other employees were at lunch. She was not aware of the order and did not have the order in the refrigerator. She advised me to go get a manager. As I was approaching the manager's office, I saw a cashier asking me if she could help with anything and I explained to her that I was there to pick my order and that it couldn't be found. At that time, a manager came up to me to assist. Long story short, the manager along with two other employees went to the deli to start preparing the sandwiches. While doing so, the cashier had taken the time to look for the trays throughout the store and found them. All of these employees went above and beyond! When she brought them to me at the deli, the manager said that all of the food would be no cost and I was floored. Not only did all of these excellent employees step in to do the work, they were highly professional and very nice. I would love to thank each and every one of these employees from the bottom of my heart for going above and beyond the call of duty and being so very kind. You have the best employees!!!!!!! I shop here very often but every time I go, Cameron is fantastic. The most recent time I went, there was a certain product I was looking for. I stopped Cameron to ask where I could find it. It looked like he may have been going on break. But, without hesitation, he went looking for it and brought it back to me. This is one of many occasions. Cameron carries himself as a managerial type. I typically shop Wal Mart, Kroger, and this store as a third choice, but I have started getting very frustrated with the continuing out of stocks at Kroger and Wal Mart and Tom Thumb is rising quickly to the top. This morning I went to Tom Thumb and the store was well stocked on everything. I was very happy to walk out of the store with everything I was looking for. Yes, Tom Thumb is more expensive and the reward card seems to provide minimal extras, but at least I don't have to drive all over town looking for what I need. read more

This store is 100%. Has everything. Looks nice and smells good too. The crew is top notch. Coleen is the best. I've had questions before and they all go out of their way to make any wrong, right again. Even over and above right! From the sackers (thanks' Cristi) to the managers, all are courteous ,friendly and helpful. The Pharmacy is absolutely the best in the area. I've tried every pharmacy down the 544 corridor and by far the Save On inside this Tom Thumb is the most organized and helpful I have found. Darla has saved my life more than once, she's the best! I was so happy when she moved to this pharmacy from the Albertson's in Murphy after it closed down. The Pharmacists are all helpful, knowledgeable and nice. Once, one of them delayed closing to fill a last minute prescription for me. She had already closed the shutter and was locking the door when I walked up! She knew me by name and took time out of her life to help me out. I just can't give enough praise to the pharmacy staff in this store! I whole heartedly endorse this tom Thumb location and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the home town feel as they do their shopping and get their prescriptions filled. It's like it use to be in the "good ole days" where they treat you with respect, courtesy and endeavor to get to know you a little better each time you visit. I am a Tom Thumb girl but when we moved out this way, Kroger was king. Sooooo glad to have this as an option now. One of the nicest Tom Thumbs I've been in, all of the "made fresh in store" food is good. My favorite is the tortilla chips made in store. Oh my wow so good. Bakery options are great too. read more

Pharmacist Le has zero compassion for patients and obviously has little understanding of what constitutes a valid prescription. My daughter had surgery 3 weeks ago and I had the Tylenol with codeine script filled there with no problem. She had to have surgery revision this morning and I presented the same script, dated today, from the same Surgeon and the same surgery center. Pharmacist Le refused to fill it, stating she needed to talk to the doctor to verify the validity of the prescription. I explained that my daughter had just had surgery and was in pain. She couldn't have cared less. She said "as a pharmacist, I have the right to verify any prescription I choose to." I told her the physician was in surgery all day, and it might be this evening before he could call her back.She had no compassion or understanding and I have never dealt with an such an incompetent pharmacist. Shame on her. I pointed out multiple times that it WAS a valid prescription, and she agreed that it was, but she refused to fill it until she verified it with the doctor. She obviously has control issues and wanted to wield her power. That's fine. My daughter will now take her pharmacy business elsewhere. As will I. I took the prescription to CVS and they filled it immediately. read more
