I had a really frustrating experience at Kroger today. I specifically came in because my autistic sister relies on those car carts--it's one of the only ways we can shop without her getting overwhelmed. But for some reason, they wouldn't let her sit in one, even though there were carts available. No clear explanation, just a flat "no." Shopping can already be challenging for her, and taking away something that helps her feel comfortable and safe made the situation so much harder than it needed to be. It honestly felt unnecessary and really lacking in understanding. I get that stores have policies, but this one felt unreasonable and poorly handled. Definitely disappointed. The bakery saved me! I waited until the last second to order my daughter's birthday cupcake cake and they were not only able to get it done in time but did an excellent job! Not happy with the food selection at Kroger, it's almost impossible to find healthy clean organic foods. They barely carry any Izzio's bread, never have the organic Lazio bread, produce is often coated with Apeel or Organipeel. Very low inventory of grassfed beef, no organic pasture raised eggs. Read the ingredients of sausages, pizzas and most foods, full of seed oils, dangerous additives and tricky unhealthy ingredients. Kroger admins should dump Apeel and focus on providing healthy alternatives. read more

Deli never has enough staff to help customers, ONLY one person working in this department most of the time and they are so unhappy working there, per their commitments. I have stopped shopping there after our cart locked up 9 DIFFERENT TIMES on my husband and myself when we were together or shopping individually. And this after having a clerk check us out. We never steal. We've been loyal customers since 2020, spending $200-300 a week there. I complained through the app but nothing really happened to resolve this. Submitted a request to restock an item at the Customer Service counter. Two months later, management there said it was a seasonal product and they won't restock it. I've been buying that product for 4 years and it is not a seasonal type of product. Unfortunately, we have a poorly run store in Wylie where they don't restock items in time, specific food items run out often within the week, and they don't even play music for ambiance in this store. read more

A mix of emotions. I prefer Tom Thumb, but this is my backup location. Produce is hit n mis but, great fancy cheese section. Bakery is small and cramped. I find the store confusing, yet I know some that love it. Prices I feel are high and the coupons are limited. Staff is hard to come by if you need help. Tried to get vehicle registration and the service desk person mumbled something that included the word "down". I asked her to repeat it and she mumbled again, and I heard the word "online." At that point, I got tired of asking her, and the only thing I learned is that she won't do it, and I don't know why. I get that you're tired of telling people the same thing over and over, but actually bothering to use human language so people can understand you stops both of us from wasting our time. So we purchase money orders to pay the store rent as well as our rent This morning, my spouse went to get money orders and was refused. He called the Manager who said that there are Federal Laws and his employee saw him come in early to purchase money orders. My spouse said that he did not and asked Manager to look at the camera which he refused and was arguing and could not explain the laws he was referringto. My spouse is not American and has a strong accent so I am sure if it was me I would have been treated differently I reported this to corporate. I hate to make big deals out of things but this was uncalled for! Store Manager should not act this way. Every time I go here I encounter rude staff (even before COVID), but that's not why I'm writing this review. I went to this location in December and got three (3) packages of bread rolls. When I got home my pregnant wife ate a roll and, after eating an entire roll, she noticed mold in all of the packages we bought. Fast forward to today, Jan. 06, 2020, my wife picked up a cheesecake from the Kroger bakery and found what appears to be a pubic hair directly on the cheesecake, under the protective film (pictures attached). Other than the bathrooms literally always occupied by employees for 20+ minutes at a time it's not bad.

This is strictly based on the pharmacy. One of the absolutely worst pharmacy's I have ever been to. I deal with a lot of health issues and have never been lied to or gone through a ringer of lies about when my prescription would be ready. I personally cannot go into this pharmacy due to their staff being so rude and ugly to me the last couple of times that the anxiety of getting my own prescription myself is too much, and now my own family members who are getting my meds are dealing with lies and just blatant rudeness. Take your prescriptions and run as that will be what I'll be doing since I've never had so much havoc, hassle, rudeness and lies. They don't know when things will be ready and just lie to get you out of their hair instead of taking the time to explain things to you. Horrible customer service. Horrible staff. Little to no compassion for customers. I'd like to add that a prescription that was submitted a week ago, with a note of approval from my doctor and that has already changed it's ready date 2 times, has changed its ready date a third time to the 28th of June. No calls, no texts, no voicemails...absolutely NO communication as to why this has changed. I've only been keeping up with this through the app and that's the only reason why I know that things have been changing. read more

This place SUCKS!.. placed a grocery order through them on my mobile app, they changed the delivery times once payment went through.. to 4 hours later.. I called the store.. they put it on instacart. I explained I ordered it through them and they continue to claim it's not their fault it's on instacart.. I'm not available to be here at the time they moved me too, I tried to call instacart and got nothing but the run around over and over.. I just canceled the order and I am out 150.00 for 5-7 business days with no groceries.. no one is willing to help.. Kroger blame's instacart and instacart is nowhere to found or to speak to a live person. Aside from my local Kroger is constantly under stocked .. customer service SUCKS! The store manager avoids to do anything.. maybe it's just me.. the app is with my local Kroger and still they put all blame on instacart.. the store manager says you didn't order through us you ordered through instacart.. no one will accept responsibility just point fingers! While they carry a good selection of products, the many times I have been to this store, I have only had one good customer service experience and that was from the person at Starbucks. I always go to get fresh fruit from here. I think it's high time to be my own gardener, as much fruit as we go through at our house. Pretty good selection unless it's all picked over. This location has redone their isles and setup. Wide selection here from the floral department, open food bar with dining area, baby clothes, patio furniture and a jewelry store. I get the fresh bacon wrapped jalapeños at the meat area. I've had a few issues with food but they have been handled very fast by customer service. read more

Will never use Kroger Delivery again. I was willing to put up with the high delivery fee to get the discounts and have it delivered, but had such a terrible experience .. never again! First, they had a full day to get this right since I ordered yesterday for a delivery today. I checked the option to have them leave it at my door (like I do for all deliveries) with a note to text me to let me know when they are on the way, so I can put the cats away. I got a text at 5:06pm saying they were going to arrive at 5:55pm. So, around 5:40pm or so, I went to put the cats away in anticipation. While I was doing that, apparently they called from something my phone registered as a "potential spam" number. When I got back to my phone, I finally noticed it was not spam, but customer service, so I called back. They called me a liar about marking it to leave at the door and since I wasn't standing at the door (they never walked up to the door or approached my Ring camera much less ringed the doorbell), the driver drove on. They then asked me if it was ok to leave it on my porch. I said "yes" because that's what I put on the initial order. Time passes, No order arrives. I get a text that says my order has arrived and is marked complete on the website. But, no groceries arrived at my house and no delivery person showed up. So, I called and they told me the order had been cancelled. So, they are going to refund my credit card. But, that will be days from now and in the meantime, had to order groceries from somewhere more competent and waiting on those to arrive now. I better get my refund. Lesson learned ... just use Instacart or Target's Shipt service. I'd rather pay more and have competent service. read more

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. The pickup wait is completely unacceptable. Sitting and waiting an hour past your pickup window for groceries, half of which they claim they are ALWAYS out of stock of. ONE person running all the orders out. Store is consistently left under stocked and is filthy at times. I have purchased expired or bad food too many times. I came into this store yesterday for a late night grocery trip and did not have the best experience. I was going through the pasta aisle while the restockers were there. The two men were trying to talk to me and were laughing at me. I went towards the bakery area and two teenagers were downing alcohol in the drink aisle and throwing them on the floor when they were done. I immediately started walking towards the cash register to alert an employee and she stopped me and said "they already ran out. You really should've told me when it was actually happening! That would've been nice!", in a very rude and yelling tone. When she realized what she had said she said "I know it's not your fault". Like duh it's not my fault? Her tone continued to be hostile and she kind of blamed me for it even though I had nothing to do with it and I just was a bystander. I don't mean to be rude but it was very apparent that she's a recovering meth addict and she also had no teeth. I haven't been here in a few months and I didn't realize how much the quality of this place has gone downhill. This place definitely needs some type of new management and security. read more

Another day, another long line at 1 register. A call to the store and talking to the manager did no good. When I left there were 5 people w/full carts waiting in line. They do not manage their cash registers very well. Shouldn't take a call to the manager. I do not work for Kroger and WILL NOT ever use self checkout. Was going to no wait Tom Thumb even though the prices are higher but now those idiots have decided to put in self checkouts. By far the worst pharmacy tech service since February 2021 - 1. My script was not fill but just two pills but no body said anything until I open up and had to call the pharmacist to find out where my script was ... they ran out of the pills but yet tech didn't tell me when I picked up scripts which getting the remains rx was delayed by the ice storm. 2. Filled the script with generic and not name brand which I'm of able to take. Had to contact the pharmacy to correct my script. 3. I put in a request for all three of my scripts 2 weeks ago but 3 days later the scripts were no longer available online so I had to request again To my dismay the pharmacy request additional refills from my Physican but the Physican requested I come in for an appointment but I'm out of meds so they approved another 30 days but the only info from my physician on the Kroger computer is the denial!! 3 days later there is still no info from my physician approving 30 days - the only thing the pharmacist did yesterday is to send another request - the physician says they sent in the 30 day approval but no body seems to care I'm out of the rx and I'll have to wait until next week. I Asked the pharmacist for 3 days of the script that in question! The pharmacy tech's at Kroger have gone from excellent service before Feb 2022 to very poor service and very little work experience. The situations above would have been handle differently by experience and a fully staffed pharmacy. Beware if your trying to get your scripts from this Kroger Pharmacy!! read more

This Kroger has really gone WAY down hill in the last six months. The meat department stinks, you can smell it while walking through the store. The dairy and cheese departments often have expired items. Today I went in and they had eggs on the shelf that expired 8/23/19. Today is September 8th!!!! Bought expired juice last time I was there! I used to love this store but I'm no longer shopping here. Get a new manager at this location please! This store used to be so great. read more

Put in an order for pickup on June 30. Few items were missing because they were supposedly out. Our total for the items we received was $65.39 but Kroger charged our bank account $114.12!!!!! Why do they ring up the charges before they do the shopping? Figure out what you have on the shelfs and then ring it up. It's like going to the store, shopping and then give the cashier your hand written grocery list so they can charge you for the items you didn't get, and then refund your money in 3-7 business days. Kroger is a thief that stole nearly $50 from us and I want it back now!!! read more

One of the more cleaner and better Krogers in the area. The entrance has a ton of space so you won't have to worry about running I to a bunch of people coming in and out. They food selection is good and the seafood sections has a huge variety and it is always fresh. The specials are as expected. Just make sure that you bring your Kroger card brah!! read more

This is not a regular grocery store. I call it "Super-Kroger" They pretty much sell everything here except tires. There's an 'organic' section for the things you might normally pick up at Whole Foods. There's a gourmet cheese section that has everything I've ever seen at Central Market. Honey butter? It's there. Want to buy a Cuisinart toaster? It's there. Some As-Seen-On-TV thing? They have an isle for those. New shoes and clothing? Yep. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It's just wonderful. I can't think of a thing this place doesn't offer. I wonder if this is defensive preparation for an HEB invasion of North Texas? Could be. Definitely worth checking out. The only thing to avoid about this place is shopping here while hungry. read more

This place is suck. I ordered online for pick up. They said that it will be 3-5 days for holding the items. As I ordered and paid already online and went to pick up the day after since I had to work on the day I placed my order. The day after (Sunday) I went pick up and they already brought out my order for curbside pick up, then they said they couldn't sale it for me because there was only for same day pick up with that price. So why you said online pick up, holding the items 3-5 days?! This manager is like bull shit. The way he said is not how you do the business. Walmart was hold my items for 5 days with no issues. This store is sadly declining in service and quality! The are chronically short staffed and shelves are poorly stocked. My son tried for 3 months to be hired. Eventually we found the name of the hiring person,Carrie. She kept promising to call but didn't. When she finally did email for an interview she emailed 30 minutes before the interview was about to start to say she had no open positions! Gave them another try with the pickup option. First time everything was fine then today I did another order for pickup. Got shorted 10 items....called them to ask for refund....was told by Ryan (supposed manager of pickup) that had to come down immediately to get them or tell them next time to take money off when I do next pickup....asked him why not just give my money back and he said he told me only options, asked for regional manager and he said he had no idea and if I had a problem to call 1800kroger and hung up on me. As usual the service here is not good. Don't know how they maintain the rating that Google shows unless I just get the bad employees. I'm going to Tom Thumb or Walmart.
