Today was the second time that I've had to waste my time calling Tom Thumb to correct something for my parents on their grocery order and pick up process. This is the second time that I have found one of their meat products not just missed marked but it had the wrong meat liston the meat department sticker then it was inside the package. Example today's product in question was a pork shoulder butt. Which is on digital coupon sale for $.99 a pound.(see picture below) The pork shoulder butt, per package labeling was marked as a pork shoulder blade roast on the meat department price sticker. Which means my parents paid an extra dollar a pound or so then they should have. Also another funny thing about it is the Printed meat department sticker.... It was the wrong kind of meat, they had the wrong price on it and the weight was even wrong.... the printed label from the meat department said 9 pound something while the actual meat weight was over 11 pounds. So there was nothing right on the printed label from the meat department about the piece of meat that my parents over paid for. With this kind of error, especially in the meat department... take a guess of how much extra a grocery store can make with this kind of mistake!!! especially at a time when every penny counts for so many households in our country. The other thing that we've noticed at this time time is that a lot of their "in store made" items, they have changed as well. A lot of the items have just gotten smaller what used to be 14 ounces is now 9 ounces, and not only that but the taste has changed and they've changed something that's in it, probably to save a little bit of money per package. It's up to us as consumers to stand up for ourselves and actually get what we're paying for or at least what they're advertising. If it were not for the pharmacist in the pharmacy I would make my parents change their grocery store. So if you frequent this Tom Thumb, make sure you pay attention at checkout and check everything you buy to make sure it's actually what you want and what you're willing to pay for it. How much is convenience worth to you these days!!!! Please bear with the pictures, as I was dealing with this issue remotely from out of town.

Love this store, only thing I have to complain about is that my prescriptions doesn't always come through the computer here. And it's not just one doctor, it's all of my doctors that have this problem here. Other then that this place is perfect

We had some delivery issues but they stepped up and made things right. I guess I need to be forgiving because of Covid. Great job.

Poor fish selection but had everything else we needed. Very clean similar to a central market. Nice place.

A great store with a well-stocked bakery, deli and floral department.

Earlier that same day, I was informed by a staff member that the pizza department closed at 8:00 PM. Based on that information, we arrived at approximately 7:40 PM to order a pizza. When we approached the counter, the young lady working there told us they were closed. There was no greeting or explanation offered initially. I explained that I had been told the department closed at 8:00 PM. She responded that they closed at 7:45 PM. Since it was still before that time, I asked to speak with the manager. The night manager, Graham, came over. Unfortunately, his demeanor was unwelcoming and dismissive. He stated that they stop taking orders at 7:45 PM. By the time he spoke with us, it may have been around 7:42 PM, but we were already at the counter before that time. No attempt was made to accommodate us or to clarify the discrepancy in closing times. Instead, the interaction felt rushed and unfriendly. My frustration is not just about the pizza, but about: * Inconsistent information given to customers * Poor communication * Lack of basic customer service and courtesy from management If the pizza department stops taking orders earlier than the posted or communicated closing time, that should be clearly stated and consistently enforced. More importantly, customers should be treated with respect and professionalism. I plan to follow up directly with the store manager, as I believe this experience does not reflect the level of service Fresh by Brookshire's should stand for.

NOPE, the self check-out clerk, (not even the person I checked out with as I went through the normal line due to having so many items) stopped us and asked if we had paid for our sodas. I checked the receipt as again I had worked with two other clerks who had taken care of such and verified I did. This was embarrassing, harassment, and terrifying for my daughter who spoke about the experience for days after. While all this occurred plenty of people continued to check out in the area she was supposed to be watching, where actual theft could have occurred due to her involvement in a situation that didn't concern her. This was on February 9th and the associates name was Daniela. I would have given two stars as it's a beautiful store but after reporting this to corporate the manager was supposed to contact me that same day . That never occurred, so to see them responding here is quite irritating .

The bagged salads, bananas, apples, oranges, grapes and a few others are off my shopping list, and now potatoes as I bought a 10# bag just a couple days ago and already 5 good size ones are bad, mushy and oozing everywhere. I had to go thru the bag and rescue the good ones with hopes they'll last a little longer! There's still some good buys at this store, but I've been told the fresh produce might arrive on a reefer and some could be frozen upon arrival and/or stored at too cold temps in their warehouse, or that maybe the chilled area is too cold for all that is displayed there. Whatever the reason, it's no longer cost effective nor appealing to purchase much of their fresh produce stock.

I've had very nice encounters with all the workers there but the woman with short blue colored hair. First occasion she was talking down to a coworker in front of customers, and continued to in a loud tone while walking away. How humiliating of her to do so let alone with an audience. Second occasion, my husband and I went to purchase tomatoes and we noticed many if not all had mold on them. We kindly set them aside and found a good package for us. When checking out (because we couldn't find a worker on the floor) we let her know about the moldy tomatoes and she rolled her eyes at us in annoyance. Third occasion was today, I did a pick up order. She came tapping on my trunk window, so I rolled the window down and she scoffed at me (my vehicle doesn't have capability to open the trunk with a button) didn't greet me or confirm I was who was on the order. Many other employees come to my window or passenger window and ask where I'd like the bags. There have been several mini occasions of just bad attitude from her but these are the 3 that have really stood out to me. I really hope she's not a supervisor or in any position of management because she is not fit for it. Glad Sprouts has opened up just down the street.
