I love Get Healthy in Rockwall and go there weekly for top quality organic fresh fruit and vegetables, grass-fed organic beef and chicken, bulk organic nuts, seeds, and grains, as well as organic canned goods in glass! They also carry clean make-up that is top quality, top food supplements, cleaning supplies, and more. The clinic in the back of the store offers ozone sauna, mineral hair testing, and much, much more for individual care you won't get elsewhere. We love to enjoy a freshly-prepared organic lunch at their grill. Their milk is the healthiest, best-tasting in town, and they even sell organic garden seeds. You will notice a difference when you walk in, with gospel music playing, employees who really care and are friendly and knowledgeable. There is a one-time membership charge of $10 for the entire family that makes you part of the Get Healthy family. They sell their meat bones for pets and it almost killed my dog. My dog chewed it up and ate it in less than 20 minutes. I rushed him to the Emergency Vet and because my dog hadn't digested it yet ,they were able to get him to throw up the sharp pieces. My husband talked to the owner ( Jon Weygandt) to let him know what happened. He claimed that it had never happened before and they will continue to sell the bones, and he was not paying for any part of the bill. I wanted to make sure to document this , so if it happens to anyone else they will not be able to claim that it has never happened. read more

I'm really passionate about supporting local Farmer's Markets and Independently Owned stores. This store's new location, has taken it to the next level, I'm so happy for the owners. I never knew the name of the original place, I just knew they sold this amazing zillion dollar honey (see photo). If I were to offer up a comparison, think of a tiny version of "Sprouts" on steroids. This store has competitive prices. But, they have Chef Tony that prepares some nutritional dishes that look delicious. I'll go back for a meal to provide an update. Folks, I overheard an older woman he helped, say he's the "Cat's Meow"...lol. I'm a heterosexual male... and I can agree...he's a good looking young man with an inner energy to match. I had to shake my head though, I can't believe I'm old enough to know what the "Cat's Meow" means...lol There's a natural deodorant brand I buy (without aluminum, propylene glycoI, artificial fragrance). Their food is beyond healthy and SPOT ON for this mama of three littles who had been in the car(too long) or in the dentist's office we travel 80 miles to see. Always seeking REAL food in our adventures this kitchen hits the mark and sets the standard to which all others are to be compared! We will dine only here when we visit Rockwall! We had the 6 Veggie Beef stir fry and the Power Bowl, neither disappointed. THEY. HAVE. KHORASAN WHEAT CINNAMON ROLLS!!!!! Great grocery prices for all the produce and competitive pricing on most other items. Andy is the fresh face behind the grill and is absolutely honorable and accommodating. -Walked me through the entire experience even whilst my crazy starving kiddos ran amok. He wasn't shaken, and was also very centered. (Strong foundations!) Friendly staff at the front both have their votes in on the GF carrot cake in the back snack cooler, versus the GF chocolate cake. Love this place! There's a very limited supply of organic anything in Rockwall. This is a great place to pick up staples. They have a nice selection of hard-to-find (in Rockwall) items. They also keep their prices competitive. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. They'll answer all of your questions. They make you feel welcome everytime. The only downside is limited hours. Hopefully, with some continued success, they'll extend their hours. read more

They carry everything from Milks, Nut Milks, Cheeses, Local Eggs, Produce Galore, Local Chicken, Local Angus Grass-fed Beef, Kombucha, Bison, Elk, Rabbit, Alaskan Salmon, Bulk Spices, Bulk nuts, fruits, flours..etc, tons of Grocery items, Supplements, Make up, Essential Oils, Alkaline Water, Fresh Juice, Chocolate, hot food and so very much more. Get Healthy is great! I have been getting more healthy, eating organically and exercising. This place is small, but powerful! You can find great prices on organic local meats and produce. They sell ionized water, supplements, essential oils, some bulk items, along with organic ready made foods, the list goes on...you need to check it out! On a side note: when it's busy you may have to wait awhile, its a small place so there is only one register. The owners are great and very informative, they will order items for you if they can, this was so helpful for me as I have been looking for a particular item for awhile. Glad to have an alternative health food store here in Rockwall other than the two measly rows Kroger in Rockwall gives us. The store is jam packed with lots of great stuff. Of course because it is a small store, the prices are astronomical. We still need a large chain such as a Whole Foods or Central Market for foodies. Anyway, Get Healthy serves hot food Tuesday to Friday (I believe) and it has been delicious every time I have been there. You can like their facebook page and they will post what they are serving each day. I went on a Saturday and scored left overs from the week for $1. Also, they always have a bunch of samples available. The pestos are AMAZING, the globs are AMAZING. I love the owner's passion for clean eating. The only downfall is that if the store is busy, don't expect to get out anytime soon. There is only one cash register and they basically have to type most items in. So, the check out line can be a LONG wait, especially during lunch. Also, the place is very small so there is lots of bumping into people going on. Other than those two issues, the store and the owners are great. The warm food served is the best part about the store! read more

I travel down to Rockwall often enough and find it hard to find somewhere to shop for groceries for two or three nights in my hotel (there's a small fridge). I also visit some friends in the area and cook whenever nights are open so finding a place like Get Healthy is just great. It's a small place, but stocked with lots of the stuff I buy back home - plus, great organic meat of all types. Prices are good, selection of product for such a small venture has been well curated.
