FRESH by Brookshire's - Bomb Double Burger at the Fresh Grill and Patio

I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service experience my girlfriend and I…read morehad at Fresh by Brookshire's on the evening of [insert date], around 7:40 PM. Earlier that same day, I was informed by a staff member that the pizza department closed at 8:00 PM. Based on that information, we arrived at approximately 7:40 PM to order a pizza. When we approached the counter, the young lady working there told us they were closed. There was no greeting or explanation offered initially. I explained that I had been told the department closed at 8:00 PM. She responded that they closed at 7:45 PM. Since it was still before that time, I asked to speak with the manager. The night manager, Graham, came over. Unfortunately, his demeanor was unwelcoming and dismissive. He stated that they stop taking orders at 7:45 PM. By the time he spoke with us, it may have been around 7:42 PM, but we were already at the counter before that time. No attempt was made to accommodate us or to clarify the discrepancy in closing times. Instead, the interaction felt rushed and unfriendly. My frustration is not just about the pizza, but about: * Inconsistent information given to customers * Poor communication * Lack of basic customer service and courtesy from management If the pizza department stops taking orders earlier than the posted or communicated closing time, that should be clearly stated and consistently enforced. More importantly, customers should be treated with respect and professionalism. I plan to follow up directly with the store manager, as I believe this experience does not reflect the level of service Fresh by Brookshire's should stand for.

The options at HEB are always fantastic so I made the drive out to Plano. While here I grabbed 5-6 different cheeses for charcuterie and sides, gift wrapping paper, and much more things that jumped into my cart. The staff were all HUSTLING to assist customers and the register lines were moving. I enjoyed my experience.

This is a hill imma die on, get yourself a woman who can COOK. I tell my son all the time, thank…read moreGod he has a girl who can cook! Otherwise, he'd have to kick her to the curb. I'm really ready to start an OnlyPans for the broads who can't and I don't mean one recipe or twelve, you better be able to make anything in existence (and I'm talking every cuisine, every item imaginable) from scratch - PERIOD. It's funny having recently relocated to TX and people sharing bars with me. Honey, as much as I love a great marg and some brown liquor idgaf about a bar - point me to your best grocery stores. I'm still obsessed with H-E-B, every time I walk through the door I fall in love all over again. I'm in very serious relationships with Eatzi's and Central Market as well but H-E-B just won't fall off. They are on their shi* in a real way. I wandered in today because I wasn't able to secure my garnish for dinner and needed some fresh parsley. I was dehydrated from a trail run in 86 degrees and 30mph winds in November and the wine stations just hit! One after another, all over. I mean I'm not loving my relocation but the way TX takes drinking seriously is very much aligned with the way I take drinking seriously. I walked here, so I was ready to help myself to every tasting station they had, in every dept. I mean tastings in the produce section, tastings in the bakery, tastings in the dry goods - LA needs to bump up their grocery store tastings and get on this level. A grocery store wine tasting is really a beautiful thing. I can't rave about this location anymore than I already have. I am head over heels. I fill my Rx's here, floral is outstanding, balloons lovely, bakery superb, prices on meats unreal. Holiday items always on point. There's not more I can say. I am a huge fan. H-E-B meets my needs in a real way, but of course I still must dabble at all of my other spots because they do too ;) LOVE this store, one of the very few places I will miss dearly when I depart from 75024.

Be extremely careful about Walmart's bait-and-switch pricing. They advertise one price online, lure…read moreyou in, and then try to charge something completely different in the store. My experience on 11/18/2025 was a perfect example. I saw a Walmart ad for a Star Wars toy for $10. It was out of stock online but said "Pick up at store," and the Terrell, TX Walmart (Store #265) showed it in stock. I drove over an hour to get there. At the register, the toys rang up for $29 each! Almost triple the advertised price. Nowhere did the ad say the in-store price would be different, and the crossed-out "original price" online was $24.99, so even Walmart's own numbers didn't match. I asked an employee, assuming they would simply match their own advertised price. Instead, I was sent to the service desk, where I waited 20 minutes only to be told they WOULD NOT HONOR IT. They refused to match Walmart's own app price. Their reasoning was that Walmart online and Walmart the store are completely different monoliths. WHAT?!? WHY!?! I spoke with multiple supervisors--Kim, Andrea, and finally Daniel--all of whom repeated the same canned line: that online and in-store are "completely different" and they "can't do anything about online prices." This is absurd. Walmart's own policy says they match prices from Walmart.com, yet here they were pretending their own website belonged to some unrelated company. The corporate call center wasn't any better. I was told the issue would be escalated urgently and that I'd receive a call within 30 minutes. I waited 45, called back, and they had *no record of me at all*. After retelling the entire story, I was finally told that the store manager, Robert, would call me within three days. I left empty-handed after wasting my time, gas, and patience. This is FALSE ADVERTISING, plain and simple. As I told Andrea: How is a customer supposed to know that Walmart's advertised online price isn't actually the price? How is it acceptable to say something costs $10 online, then charge $30 in store? Why even list prices online at all if they bear no relation to what you'll be charged at the register? The whole thing feels intentionally misleading--a mechanism to pull customers into the store with low online prices, only to hit them with higher ones once they arrive. The three "managers" I spoke to acted like price matching or overrides are mythical concepts they've never heard of. Walmart is one company. Online or in-store, the price they advertise should be the price they honor. Instead, I was met with rudeness, inconsistency, and a complete lack of accountability. Terrell, Texas Walmart should be embarrassed by the incompetence on display today. I'm still waiting for a so-called "resolution," but based on how badly this was handled, I'm not holding my breath. *TERRELL, TEXAS WALMART SCAMMED ME.* They should have done a simple override and honored their own price. Ridiculous.
