If you're looking to buy or sell a home (or both), hire Tom Rott. Seriously. There simply isn't anyone better.
When I decided to sell my home and buy another, I did quite a bit of research online to find the right person. I kept coming across Tom Rott and his reviews were exceptional. I decided to give him a shot and set up a meeting. Again, I went online to get some help with what questions I should ask. I had some things I knew I wanted to discuss, but wanted to be sure I wasn't missing anything. I came up with a list of about twenty points. I called Tom and we set up a time to meet at my home.
The day of our meeting, I was in the front yard with my dogs about 30 minutes prior to Toms arrival. A car drove by and I thought to myself 'that looked like Tom'. 25 minutes later, the same car drove up and parked in front of my house. Turns out, Tom had arrived early to drive through the neighborhood. Good start.
Tom was extremely pleasant and loved on my dogs for a bit before we went inside. We talked briefly and then I gave him a tour of my home. Tom had several SIMPLE suggestions to help the sale of my home and it became evident that Tom was extremely knowledgeable in staging/décor/colors/etc (something I was not). We sat and talked for quite a bit more and I was ready with my list of questions. As I scanned the list, I realized Tom had already touched on everything I wanted to discuss. I couldn't believe it! But I did have one concern. I was guessing a realtor with SO MANY five star reviews and GLOWING comments was in very high demand and would have multiple clients at a time. Would Tom have enough time to really get me the most money for my home, and help me find my dream home? Though I was VERY impressed so far, I had my doubts.
The next few weeks were a whirlwind with several ups and downs with both buyers and sellers. In fact, several situations arose that quite frankly, if I had any other realtor, I may not have made it through! If you don't know already, the Austin market is CRAZY, and you're bound to hit some bumps along the road. I was grateful I had chosen a realtor with a wealth of EXPERIENCE to get me through those situations.
In the end, I had multiple offers on my home and ended up selling for more than asking price. I also got the home of my dreams. Literally, it's been weeks now since I moved in and I still can't believe how PERFECT the home is!
Lastly, in my line of work, I'm one of the very best. I'm very good at what I do...but what really sets me apart is that I work harder than anyone else. In fact, I've never met anyone who works harder at what they do than myself. Until I met Tom Rott. When I read Tom's reviews, I thought to myself 'If this is true, this guy is going to have too many clients to really put in the time I need to sell my home and buy another'. Well ... I was wrong. Sorry for questioning you Tom.
Seeing the work Tom did for me to sell my home, you'd think he was selling a multi-million dollar home. That's not the case. In fact, my home was one of the least expensive homes in Pflugerville at the time of selling. The fact is, Tom is PASSIONATE about his job, and he works harder than any person I've ever met. If you're looking to buy or sell a home (or both), hire Tom Rott. Seriously.
