Great service and good food. The show the chef did was very entertaining. Thank you for making my daughter's birthday experience amazing.

This place is an absolute blast! The experience is as good as the food. They are very good about recognizing any celebration you might be having. We went in my husband's memory and it was the first time my brother and friend's kids had been to a place like this. Their eyes were lit up the whole time. They toss shrimp into everyone's mouth which is always good for a laugh. They have sushi, chicken, steak, shrimp and even salmon. The ham fried rice is totally worth the couple of bucks it takes to upgrade from white rice. The noodles are also really good. I highly recommend this place for a night out or any special occasion.

First time here. Was visiting from Portland Oregon. Great accommodating staff, tasty food. Our chef was Tom who was from Everett Washington I believe he said. He was a cool guy who made our experience lovely. Our waitress was amazing too, I think her name was Harley? Highly recommend this place.

Tokyo Station was a pretty great place to eat. A friend and I were there celebrating a fun summer night and we decided to eat at the sushi bar, even though I'm not much for sushi, she still enjoyed it so much because she loves sushi. I had some Gyoza and fried rice which was really good! The waitress was super nice to us! I definitely recommend you come try it! Next time I go I'll have to go try out there Teppanyaki grill.

Quick service, very kind and organized staff. Great food!! Fun family ambiance, spacious, very well lit, clean restrooms, comfortable waiting area,

This place is amazing! It's a beautiful place to celebrate any occasions! I wouldn't go on Fridays or Saturdays from 5pm to 8pm if yu don't want to wait for good food and atmosphere!

Who wants to eat at a restaurant with strangers within close proximity? When I go to a sit down dinner, I prefer privacy!

It had been but a minute since my last visit to Ichiban Sushi Ogden. I made sure to bring my…read moreappetite and it was more than filled and fulfilled! I've always been curious about their Bento Boxes and mine certainly did not disappoint. I went with the Eel Teriyaki Bento which came with two sliced peaches, a small salad, four pieces of a California Roll, a side of vegetables that were finely/perfectly sliced (broccoli, carrots, miniature corn cobs, zucchini, bamboo shoots, and more in a very rich perfectly flavored soy sauce mix), plus a choice of soup (Miso, Hot & Sour, Egg Flower, or Wonton). I went with Miso. OMG. My appetite was more than satisfied long before finishing the whole Bento. The California Roll....honest to God the best that I've ever had! I mean perfection, quality, and freshness. It had been forever (if ever) since I've had an actual sushi roll not break apart, be so fully encased, and loaded with ingredients, and the sushi rice they used.... just absolute 10/10 perfection! The Miso soup was beyond perfection as well. Plenty of tofu and seaweed with a perfectly flavored broth. Unbelievable! The Teriyaki Eel (Unagi) was surprisingly a very good portion size and definitely could not be eaten all at once (like I said; VERY filling). The flavoring and cooking also a 10/10. The side of vegetables I absolutely loved because I've only ever had tempura seasonal vegetables in competitor's Bento Boxes and this was a welcome surprise. It had a soy like seasoning base which just perfectly matched the whole entree. The side salad portion was fresh though the restaurant does put the dressing on for you and that was the only thing that I'd say they should put on the side or a little less of. Nonetheless it did not get wasted or tossed so that should say something. The dressing they used reminded me of a spicy mustard (which I happen to love); however, some might not be as enthusiastic. Lastly (but actually they were first..lol), I had to have my most favorite Mussel Shooter appetizer because it had been far too long. I realize some people might be put off by the raw Quail Egg (they are actually really good for you), but I promise you, the way they finely mince the mussels meat..then they add scallions, tobiko and the sweet yet tart yet perfect Ponzu sauce and it's a delicious glorious Heaven. Honestly I want to go back here tonight after writing this. Everything was THAT good! I also had added on a side of their Eel sauce and Chili Oil with my meal and both were just as amazing as all the rest. The prices here for the quality are beyond the vast majority of where I have been to in regards to Japanese food. I cannot highly enough suggest or recommend trying one of Ichiban Sushi Bento Boxes for yourself (or anything else on their delicious menu)! Try it for yourself. You just might be surprised in the most glorious of ways.

I loved the sauce on these. We also shared an order of gyoza. It was really hot & fresh when we received it. My boyfriend really liked these. I ordered a vegetarian roll. It was okay, not my favorite. My boyfriend ordered the 7 piece nigiri. He was a little worried because it was chefs choice, but he ended up liking it. He wasn't sure that the light colored fish was & said he would never order that if he had the choice because he loves tuna nigiri but he said it was really good. The light colored fish had a more salty taste to it. He also ordered a sushi roll, however I cannot remember which kind it was for the life of me. He liked it though.

After sleeping with a bucket on one side of my head and a garbage can on the other, this place deserves every last bad review that they will ever receive! Waited nearly two hours for a takeout order. I had absolutely zero issues with that, provided all of my detailed instructions were followed. I explicitly requested if they were going to charge me additional fees after my initial order total then to cancel the ENTIRE order! Not only was I charged additional fees to my credit card after the fact, my instructions weren't even followed! The most expensive item (especially since I was charged almost $5 extra for requesting lettuce) was the Dynamite Poke Bowl with rotten fish, rotten produce, saturated in sauce (that I explicitly requested ON THE SIDE), and most disgusting of all, warm creamy rice that was supposedly in their "homemade cream sauce". Absolutely nowhere in the description of the Dynamite Poke Bowl did it state it was going to have rice or give you an alternative option. Whatever is in that disgusting sauce should be retired and banned from the FDA! The supposed "fish" was all shredded barely there and nevermind I didn't receive the furikake with red onions that I was also charged additional for. The Kimchi was completely sour and opening the lid on the little cup you could smell the foulness. Yes, I did try a bite of everything that I ordered to leave an appropriate review. The Kurama Ebi (prawn) shows up with it's head and shell on which wasn't a big issue because I order seafood boils all the time. However, this poor prawn was all shell, no meat, and was discolored and mushy upon peeling. The Gyutan (beef tongue) was charred aplenty, but still impossible to eat because it was way too chewy and no amount of lemons were going to help it. I really was having a great day and that's why I thought I would be 3 for 3 and try this newer popular sushi restaurant and trust me, the pricey menu items certainly don't achieve the fresh experience that all of us Sushi lovers expect. Will never return and will forever be telling everyone about this horrible waste of time and money experience. And to think I actually left them a tip on top of the overcharges. Ha!

It is about a two-hour trip on transit each way for me to get here, but since I had the day off, I wanted to make the journey specifically to visit this location and walk around the area. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. I walked in right when they opened at 11:00 AM. Despite being one of only two tables in the entire, huge restaurant, the service was chaotic and aggressive. The staff was openly arguing and yelling at each other across the kitchen and floor because they couldn't remember what was on the specific ramen I ordered--which is wild considering the menu only has about 10 options. The food itself fell totally flat. They warned me the broth wasn't fully ready/hot when I ordered, but even when it arrived, it was lukewarm. It was steaming, but nowhere near the piping-hot temperature required for a good bowl of ramen. Worse, the spinach in the bowl was incredibly gritty, meaning the kitchen didn't even bother to wash it properly. To top it off, I was completely rushed out the door. I was asked if I needed a fork for my soup (which happens every time), and while I was actively eating with a quarter of my bowl still left, the waitress interrupted to ask if I wanted dessert. When I shook my head because my mouth was full, she just said she'd be right back and slapped the check on my table. It was barely 11:30 AM and the restaurant was empty--there was zero reason to push me out. Frankly, this was unacceptable. I'll probably stick exclusively to the Farmington location from now on, even though the service there isn't great either. At least the kitchen staff there doesn't treat paying customers to a live workplace argument.
