Beehive Cheese - Barely Buzzed with Espresso & Lavender (The Original Coffee Rubbed Cheese)

Alright, on your first visit here you are going to get lost unless you heed my warning and follow…read morethese instructions: When you exit off 89 at the light, turn right toward Best Western. Just south are some strips of businesses. Search for the karate studio and art academy, then take a left to go behind them and there's Beehive! I swear, they are trying to hide from someone, and even having visited two years ago, I still couldn't find 'em when I stopped by a few weeks back! Inside, it's an itsy lil' store offering wedges of their cheese by the pound and cheese curds. They also have a few varieties of excellent cheeses not made in house and local Creminelli salami, plus Chocolot candies. They carry a decent selection of Savannah Bee Company bath and body products, and a bit of their own branded merchandise. A variety of local stores sell Beehive Cheese, but it's still fun to stop here as you have access to all their goodies, most importantly, a variety of dreamy cheese curds. I just tried Fully Loaded for the first time: a delightful cheese fortified with High West's Double Rye Whiskey, and wow! That is a new favorite (and I truly adore all their cheeses). It's a little bit sweet, with such an intriguing flavor, and everyone I shared it with remarked that it was especially delicious. Chocolot (based in Ogden!) makes some excellent and beautiful artisan truffles. At Beehive, they also had some of their toffee, peppermint bark, and chocolate covered cinnamon bears. I really adore this brand, and it can be difficult to track down, so make sure to snatch up a box (chocolates are $2 a piece, available either as a set of three of six). The truffles vary in each package, and are not marked, but you can find a flavor key on their website: https://chocolot.com/pages/flavors. 4 stars for the shop, which could use a little excitement as it's a tad utilitarian, but 5 strong stars for their most exceptional cheese! They are a little out of the way, but I always forget how close they are to Ogden. Make the time to stop here if anywhere close by.

We only went for the cheese which is very good & unique. They have a new retail location that's…read morenice.

Red Lobster - SpENDless Shrimp Special takeout order packaged perfectly!

Went back for the Create Your Ultimate Feast. Due to the fact that I ordered takeout and it wasn't…read morepackaged very well, I was slightly disappointed. Had the Classic Maine Lobster Tail and 7 oz Grilled Sirloin Steak as my main entree's. Requested hush puppies and Chesapeake Fries as my sides. As for the two shrimp choices, I chose Grilled Shrimp and Garlic Shrimp Scampi. First of all, the Shrimp was 10/10! No complaints whatsoever. The 7 oz Grilled Sirloin Steak was requested well done and still had a ton of pink meat inside which made it completely inedible to me. Chesapeake Fries were layered at the very bottom making them completely soggy. Hush puppies were a welcome surprise and would rate a 10/10 on those. It also came with warm melted butter and fresh lemon slices and ketchup packets for the fries. The Orzo rice included was absolutely divine! It is an expensive meal but if you love seafood like myself I'd definitely recommend it! Everything did taste fresh all things considering.

We celebrated my daughter's 8th birthday at Red Lobster and it was an incredible experience. She…read morehas been fascinated with lobsters lately and was thrilled to finally dine here. My wife and I had not visited in years and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly, attentive, and wonderful with our kids. Our hostess, Gaby, went above and beyond with her warmth and hospitality. The food was delicious. Our kids loved trying lobster for the first time and they could not get enough of the cheddar biscuits, which they even said were better than Texas Roadhouse rolls. To make the birthday extra special, the staff sang happy birthday, brought out a giant ice cream goblet with a candle, and decorated the plate with a cute lobster design in strawberry and chocolate syrup. They also presented a hand-signed card from the entire team. As a fun bonus, the kids got to handle a real lobster and received personalized certificates. A huge thank you to the Layton Red Lobster staff for making my daughter's birthday so memorable. We cannot wait to come back.

Never come here. For the first time in my life I will say avoid this place at all cost!…read more You will be treated poorly and waste your money and time. I was told this place has the best wings and I took my family who just moved here to try it and will never return. We entered and the place had only one table. It took 15 minutes to get our party of 9 waters and a beer. When my mom ordered a beer it took 25 minutes to get her beer. We placed our order and it took 57 minutes for the first item to make it to the table. What came first was the kids pizza and fries which the fries came frozen and not even cooked. The pizza the kids said was disgusting and all 3 refused to eat it. They took a bite and spit it out. Then about 10 minutes later we got our wings and sandwiches. We ordered steak tacos and they gave us chicken. We ordered a chicken tender sandwich no ranch and it was drowning in ranch. We ordered a pork sandwich and the pork was cold and nasty. Ordered a burger and tasted like the grill hasn't been cleaned in months , the burger gave my brother a severe stomach ache. He said it was worse then a Wendy's burger. When we told the server she apologized and said they have a new chef she doesn't know what's going on. She asked if want it remade and we said no. It took an hour and everything was wrong. We shared 17 wings amongst 9 people two being pregnant that are due within 6 weeks. It was the worse experience. The server didn't charge me for the food made wrong or the pizza but made us pay for everything else even though it wasn't eaten. We had the bill split in two. One for my family and one for my brother. Then when I asked why the bill was higher then expected she said theirs an automatic gratuity added and she can't do anything about it because we are a large party. So she got an automatic 20% tip and didnt inform me without asking. Working in restaurant industries in my early days I was taught it's the law to notify the table. When we left I asked my brother why he paid $10 in cash and not all on card. He said he gave that as a tip. I said on top of the gratuity. He said he didn't know their was one. He went back in and said I tipped you on a gratuity why didn't you tell me. She said I told the other guy didn't you hear. He said I paid first how would have I heard when you were across the table. She gave him his cash back. By far the worse experience I have ever encountered in a restaurant. Let alone its average meal was $18 dollars.
