The staff was literally so sweet, so kind, treated my grandma so gently. So patient. They did sincerely wonderful work. But everything needs to be DEEP cleaned in there. All of the staff is amazing, they're all so kind and skilled at what they do. Each person has their own skill set so it might take you a few times to figure out who can help you the best, but you will definitely leave very happy with your nails. Everyone is very willing to help each other, you will often see the nail techs rotating stations on the busy days to help each other out and it shows how much they care about their customers, they're all trying to make sure everyone is getting a good service. They truly do care that the customers are happy, if you're not satisfied with something or if something breaks, you should always speak up or return to get it fixed, they are always willing to fix something to make sure you're happy. They are all human though and sometimes the salon can get busy but they try to take walk ins as much as possible, and even if it's busy, they at least try to get your feet soaking or your hands wrapped and let you know they'll be with you soon. Dana, the owner, is so talented at what she does, her designs are amazing. If you find a picture of something that you want, you can bring it in and show it to your nail tech and they'll do their best to recreate it for you, and if they can't personally do the design, they'll have another tech come and help just to make sure you get the design that you want. Dana and her sister Queen are constantly keeping up with social media to follow all of the latest trends for nail art and always buying new supplies to make sure they can do the newest designs. They can free style designs on your nails, they've got foils and stickers, a ton of different glitter and cat eye options, air brushing techniques and they'll even mix different elements to get you the perfect color. The color selection is INSANE, they have so much to choose from for no chip and dip, you're instantly provided numerous books of color to choose from and then the techs will get the bottles for you so you don't have to search along the walls. Pedicures here are also top notch, they recently got all new chairs for the pedicure area, including themed chairs for kids. The new chairs have so many massage options and a heat option. They've recently added new pedicure packages so that customers can have a spa-like experience for their feet. All of the prices per packages are listed right away so there's no secret charges which is super important. You're presented with a list of all the packages and allowed to choose, and even after choosing your package, you're then given multiple scents to choose from to make sure you're getting the best experience. QT Nails & Spa is very active on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. They're always posting videos to showcase the unique nails that customers are requesting to provide inspiration for others. I recommend QT Nails & Spa to everyone, it's the only place I'll go to even after moving.

It was easy to communicate & they were prepared when I arrived for my appointment. It is a very clean salon, which I've learned isn't easy to find in McHenry. I did feel like it was a rushed job, but it's been almost a week & they are doing well. My cuticles always need work & I am not that satisfied with how they look 5 days later. Standard pedicure - it was just that. No frills, but in a good way. They were mindful of water temp & your comfort. I asked for them to pick color since they know what looks best & is popular. Happy with the color. Nail shaping & cuticle's could have received more attention, but in no way was it a bad job. Also, probably needed color applied 3x vs 1. My heels are actually soft & they did very thorough pumice work. Many salons have drastically increased prices & its well over $100 for a mani & pedi which is why I hadn't been going as often as usual. Pricing here was very fair & what I think is reasonable: $65-70 No Chip $35 French Tip $5 Standard Pedicure $30 Customers were all also "kind" atmosphere & it wasn't a loud TV overly gossipy & judgy culture which is also great.
