Chrissy, Kristin, and Andy have all cut and colored my hair over the years and they are all amazing. I learned the salon trains everyone on the same techniques, so I'm comfortable with more than one stylist. They truly listen, make suggestions for my type of hair, and it always turns out looking amazing. My most recent visit, I wanted a new shorter style, Chrissy cut around 6 inches off of my hair and it looked exactly like I had envisioned! I'm ready for Fall! Over the years they've also made product recommendations and allowed me to sample products. I'm now completely hooked on Surface hair products and most recently their Glo Minerals make up line. If you're looking for a new salon with a nice atmosphere and truly talented stylists, I highly recommend Salon Mackk.

Same thing happened when I asked for the new stylist's recommendations for new hair care products for a color appointment...the management team thought it necessary to dismiss me as a client completely. Seek hair services elsewhere! (wish I could leave a zero star review)

I went a couple of weeks ago to try them out and got a hair cut/style. I loved how my hair turned out, it's like she read my mind, exactly what I wanted! You know it's a good style when it takes next to no time to style it, it just falls in place the way you want it. Today, I went in for color. I've been unhappy with my color for a long time and was hoping she could breathe some life into what I have...older hair (I'm 61), and thin, sometimes dry. I didn't have high hopes, but anything is better than what I came in with. LOOK AT THE PICS! First, Mikaela really listens, she went over colors with me and we came up with some I liked. I absolutely LOVE my hair. I didn't even think it was possible for it to look like this! So bright, and pretty, and it lays so nice! This salon is amazing, they know what they're doing! Mikaela is friendly, pleasant, and extremely nice. I will never go anywhere else. I'm so happy here, and just feel amazing today! I need to throw some makeup on and go out, I want everyone to see my hair! Thank you Arcadia, and Mikaela!

I asked them to keep my length as best as possible. She cut my hair by about 2-3 inches initially. I gave her photos and videos of my desired look. I even brought in my wig during my initial consultation. She said she could do it. It was suppose to be 95% ash blonde, almost looking white/silver with a slight pink undertone and the rest black. Only a quarter of the top of my head plus the bottom layer was meant to be black. She did the ENTIRE from of my bangs black and way tooooo much on the sides. Not only that but she didn't bleach my hair enough and it looked bright yellow. She never used a toner and then proceeded to but grey over it. My hair now looks slightly green and the black is all over. She also didn't use conditioner and used her hand to comb through my hair. I had to fight back tears while she "combed" through my hair. TWICE!! Once after the bleach and once after the color. I could feel her ripping my hair out and watched it fall to the floor from all the tearing and ripping. She asked if I wanted my hair layered and I said yes, she proceeded to cut an additional 6 inches off my length. I wanted to get out SOOOOO badly that I just said whatever at that point and wanted to go home. My head still hurts over 4 hours after leaving. It looks nothing like the picture and she cut my hair to my f*cking nips. It was originally down to my *ss when I got there. They were just 4 blocks from my house so I walked home crying the whole way back. I look soooooo UGLY!!!! I will never return and do NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!! Spent $285 plus $50 tip cuz I was trying to be nice. NEVER AGAIN

It's such a treat going to ISO that I even got my husband to start seeing Rachel for his haircuts, and he was STRICTLY a Great Cuts kind of guy before. I appreciate that he's looking much more coiffed these days, and he's not too proud to admit that he looks forward to the scalp massage and pampering every few weeks too.
