I ordered the Toasty-Subs Special Club with ham, turkey, bacon, and cheddar cheese, served toasted on sweet bread and added lettuce and tomatoes. You get the choice of a side and they have a ton of options from chips to a banana to a brownie. I went for the Parmesan ranch chips as I'd never seen this brand or flavor before. Great pick as the chips were really good. After I ordered I had no idea what the price was going to be as prices are not listed on the website or on the banner menu above the register. It was $12.99 before tax and tip. After snapping a picture of the whole sandwich for my Yelpers, I cut it into fourths. The bread was so fresh and delicious as were the rest of the ingredients. I would have loved double cheese as it got lost in the sea of meats after it was melted onto the ham. The huge sandwich ended up being three separate meals for me, so totally worth the price point. I ordered some sandwiches via Uber eats, and admittedly I had low expectations. I mean, it's paninis, how good could they be? Little did I know, these subs were exactly what I needed. The order arrived super fast (not quite as freaky fast as another sub place known for quick delivery, but within 20 minutes of ordering). The subs were wrapped in paper and our sandwiches were delivered safely and intact. But we soon demolished them! I had the Italian stallion and it was delish! Perfect combination of flavors. I basically inhaled the entire thing within minutes. And the portion was quite generous and I was full for hours. We had also ordered the pickles and I tried one and it just wasn't really my thing- a little too soggy for my taste. Incredible subs, simply outstanding. I haven't had such a delicious Bombay Sandwich since I was in Mumbai a few years ago, and the fact that they sell one here in a place like Springfield is incredible. Their Italian Stallion is also one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted - the ratio of meat to bread to sauce to peppers is perfect, and you can absolutely taste the high quality of the meat. First time I was here 5/5. However, second time was very disappointing. Placed an order at 12:07. It said 20 minutes and it would be ready. I get there at 1230 on the dot. It's a small business, so usually there are one or two guys working the shop, so keep in mind, if you're expecting a super fast sandwich, this isn't that kind of place. Toasty-Subs is where you go when you want that homemade sandwich shop experience: the locally owned, makes their own bread (which they do), Wild West menu that changes based on what works and what doesn't. They opened during COVID, so the interior is utilitarian of course, but you could definitely seat a healthy lunch rush once the pandemic is over. As far as food goes, oh my, you literally cannot go wrong. Their meatball sub is legitimately in the top 5 of meatball subs I've ever eaten, the TBR hits my stomach 0-60 faster than that experimental supersonic jet I can't talk about, their vegetarian options are all absolutely killer. Chip options are unique to the area and they sell homemade brownies and cookies too. I love Toasty-Subs. Had not tried before and was hungry and close so pulled in. Took a bit to peruse menu and chose roast beef. Thought for having no customers it took longer than it should however I 'm okay if you take your time making my food and put care into it. Got sandwich and left. Pulled back to work, unwrapped sandwich and took 2 bites. I ordered the Roast Beef. All I can say is the mayo/toasted bread was good. That's it. This isn't what I call Roast Beef this is chopped, stringy, beef 'leftover parts'. I managed 2 bites and that was because I was so hungry.
