The tech that came out, while punctual and respectful, didn't appear to focus on and provide a suitable solution for my specific needs (I was quoted for a replacement of the pressure release valve - something outside the water heater that was making noises / having the issue). After getting advice from others, I would have had to spend more time and money as the pressure release valve would not have solved the issue. Quick response and quote, but not really what I was specifically looking / needing. Not to say I wouldn't consult them in the future for other, more general repair needs.

When the owner Mike came out to give a free quote he was very thorough and addressed all my concerns. It honestly seemed like I was dealing with a friend. A very professional friend but that feeling of trust came so natural. He gave really fair quotes and I will definitely be using this company as my family plumber!! Would recommend to anyone! Seriously. Mike and his team replaced our tank water heater with a tankless water heater. They only use the best and highest BTU tankless water heaters. When we had a fluke happen with cold water that just shot out when we used the shower and washer at the same time mike answered right away and took the time to ask questions and let me know what was going on. Turns out this old house keeps giving headaches but luckily I have someone trustworthy to run things by. Seriously don't hesitate, go with this company. It even has it in the name. 5 stars through and through.

Mykel arrived within two hours, and had our drain flowing within ten minutes. He explained what he thought the problem was and quickly unstopped the drain with a plunger. (I had already tried that, too, but I had no success.) He also suggested some preventative maintenance that would help prevent the issue from recurring. We appreciate Mykel's quick and honest service! We'll be calling "A Better Plumber" and asking for Mykel by name if and when we have any other plumbing problems.

They suggested following up with me a few days later with a camera down the drain to ensure there weren't any additional issues. A different technician came a few days later to perform the camera work and informed me that I had a leak in my drain under the foundation of the house. He was convincing, and showed me the footage as well (although I had no idea what I was looking at). They quoted me 7K to excavate the foundation, repair the broken drain pipe, and jet the drain line. I then called two other companies and informed them what I had heard, both of which gave me far better pricing. One of the other companies performed the work, but after diggin up the foundation, they discovered there was no leak at all. A better plumber had made a mistake in their analysis which cost me thousands of dollars. Buyer beware, if this company claims you have an issue, don't take their word for it. Have another company do the same analysis (instead of trusting them and hvaing the work done, which is what I did).

Let's start from the beginning. -- I got the pleasure of first meeting Jeff who came out to do an estimate. Jeff had this genuine confidence about his experience, his team and his company (which was really nice since my 1940s home had a lot of plumbing issues. Essentially we needed everything replaced!). On top of that, he and his team gave me an estimate that was beyond competitive. Rooter Guys truly want to help their customers and not take all the money since they understand house projects and repairs are a huge headache physically and financially. Next he brings out the team Lead Jacob (this guys KNOWS his stuff and years of experience), amazing Cody, and awesome Austin to get another eye over on what their going to do like double checking their work. All three of the workers were also very kind and helpful if I had any questions or concerns. They even would go out of their way to show me pieces that they needed to repair, educate me on what to look out for or what pipes are which, levers, etc. Rooter Guys even found a blocked ground pipe that was so important to replace so that our basement/foundation would not die from water damage. I had so much anxiety because I was thinking "Oh great. Another expensive bill!!" But no, THEY TOOK CARE OF ME! They were efficient and clean in their work. They communicated and educated every step of the way. They were so professional and nice at the same time. They are licensed and have a warranty. I will 100% recommend to others and use them again in the future. I like them so much that they are invited to my house warming party. :) Again, Rooter Guys are the best. The end.
