Went in for the first time to get French dip with tips. Workers were all very kind and recommended acrylic instead. Was happy with my nail tech and nails at first yet as I left I noticed many small bubbles all over my nails. In addition after about 4 days they have already started chipping which hasn't happened before when I've gotten French nails with tips before. The hostess was friendly and efficiently reviewed the schedule, finding me a walk-in mid-day appointment. The team seems to work well together to provide a pleasant experience. Their spa chairs seem to be superior to my usual walk-in spot. They have a good collection of nail colors, and Ms. Anna gave an applaudable foot massage. We made appointments for our group a week ahead of time so we could all be seen at the same time and when we arrived they were only able to do two at a time. We were seen for pedicures and asked if we wanted polish. I have never had a pedicure when the nails were not polished. We were also charged more than what the spa menu pricing listed. I'm assuming we were charged more for the polish. It was an overall nice experience but very pricey. read more

My husband and I spontaneously walked in yesterday without appointments and treated ourselves to mani-pedis. (I got the lavender and he got the chocolate.) The place is very clean, quiet, and the staff seemed very professional. My pedicurist took her time and was excellent at the massage. I noticed the equipment they use is fresh out of a surgical-looking, sterile package. That was reassuring and impressive. The whole pedicure experience was so relaxing! I'm not really a fan of those cheapie-quick nail places, so I gladly pay a bit more for a place willing to take the extra step in safety and comfort. The same tech also did my nails and another gal did my husband's - both very friendly and quick. My polish looks great. Two things to note - one of the nail techs helped me with my leggings since I'd pulled them up for the pedicure. Seems small, but there are other places where the staff wouldn't have thought about it. AND the owner had the greatest trick! I was wearing socks and tennies, so she put a bit of oil on my mostly-dry toes and then slid them into a simple plastic baggie, and then put my socks and shoes on. We walked around all day and when we got home - no smudges! Toes and fingers are still great! I will be back for sure. read more

I got the facial here and it was great! I felt very relaxed and happy. However, the woman who was doing my facial always ended up splashing some of the cream on my mouth. I'm a very paranoid person and I hate it when chemicals get on my mouth. I asked my sister if that happened to her and she said no. Good experience minus the spill part. read more

My sister and I walked in to TLC on a Sunday because our regular place was closed. First of all, they had to call an employee in because she was the only one who knew how to do dip nails. Everyone was very kind and friendly but the experience was extremely sub-par. The lady made us do the "dipping" of our nails ourselves (every other place we've ever gone to, they do it for you) which was kind of irritating because we didn't know how to do it and we wanted to relax.. not do our own nails. Then, not even a week later, our nails were already chipping! The top layer of the dip was chipped away on almost every nail.. they're supposed to last 4 weeks on average! When I called, they did offer to re-do our nails which we appreciated but we didn't want to take the time to go back there and have to dip our own nails again just to probably have them chip again. I'm not sure how their other services are, but if you're looking for Dip nails, maybe look elsewhere! read more

This Spa is newly opened and looks nice, my two teenage daughters wanted to have manicure there. While my girls were having their manicure, the owner persuaded me to have a pedicure. I agreed to have a pedicure, but did not want paint. Then I noticed that they did not really sanitize the utensils. After we were done, I paid full price $30 of the pedicure and my two daughters manicure $18 each (High School Special), and still gave 20% tip though none of us were happy with the services we got. Just when we were about to walk out of the door, the owner told me and her receptionist/cashier that my daughters got to pay additional $10 each because they used some sort of better nail polish. I felt that was ridiculous, but gave her another $20 and walked out of there quickly. I do not think this place will last that long in our neighborhood. read more

Probably the best nail place I've ever been too! was there for my sister's bridal party and was given VIP treatment; definitely not the most cheap or most expensive place I've ever been, but treats you better than any other nail spa (even Design 1 can't beat them). We all walked out with mani/pedis we loved! They even gave the bride a free half hour massage, which was an awesome bonus. I have gone to TLC for pedicures in the past and have really enjoyed this spa. Clean, friendly, relaxing and good prices for the area. My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, & husband had always raved about how amazing Theresa's massages were so I gave it a try, even with sports injuries. The girl doing my toes only had six months of experience and I could tell. She kept kicking the scrubber above my ankle and filing my skin. No, just no. My friend and I went for facials. The products used on me were so cold that I was freezing. The massage part of my head was basically, yanking my hair. I've never experienced such a poor facial, neither had my friend. Her facial, consisted of product running down her neck and her closed eyelids being massaged in a figure 8 configuration. For the grand finale they sit you up and slap a lukewarm, wet towel on your back. Once it was over, and back at the reception desk, it was noticed that I had large circles of mascara under my eyes (doesn't say much for the cleaning of my skin), they sent the woman who worked on me back to get some pads to wipe it off after much consideration. The women who worked on us stood steady at the desk, awaiting their tips while the receptionist asked how our facials were, I replied " just ok" to which she answered that at least they were not horrible. Great location & friendly staff. The environment is very relaxing and nicer than most "walk in" nail salons. Unfortunately the prices do not match the quality of the service. I paid 45 for a no chip (shellac) manicure that chipped two days later and looks terrible now only 5 days after getting them done.
