I've been to Tina's Traveling Nails twice and each experience was amazing. The color selection she…read morehas is huge and she has shellac glitter nail polish which I love; I always top my nails with a layer of glitter polish. Plus everywhere I go, I receive compliments about my nails from the color to the shape. People always think my nails are acrylic, but they're the real deal thanks to Tina, genetics and vitamins. I really enjoyed how Tina took the time to inform me on how to take better care of my nails. Tina also provided me tips on how to make my nails grow longer and stronger. One would think that Tina's prices would be high since she is a traveling licensed manicurist, but her prices are really affordable. I use to get my nails done only once a month at other nail salons, but I go twice because of the affordability and the service is great.

I followed Tina from her former "brick and mortar" salon, and I'm loving her new traveling service. I get gel (shellac) manicures about twice a month, although I can often go 3 weeks without a chip. I play string instruments, so being able to have a durable polish is absolutely required. Gel polish helps to protect my nails, while looking fabulous. Tina can do it all - French, solid, patterns, stripes, polka dots, kitty cats - you name it!

I've been coming to Cindy's for 23 years, my first manicure was when I was 5 years old. I love them…read morelike family! They're more old fashion, but they take great care of you. They have these big black cushioned computer chairs but will find ways to make you feel comfortable. They have the pedicure buckets but their massages are next level. If you ask for water/juice/tea they bring it. And have a small tv that will typically have a good movie on! They are very detailed but if there's anything you want for your experience ask and they do it. As I got older there's trends I like and typically if I show them a photo they get really close. Another thing is time, they take care of every cuticle and your nails will go through some processes so it be may be more to the time consuming side. If you're in a rush let them know ahead of time. But a full set mani-pedi from them runs anywhere between 1-2.5 hours and about $70-90 without a tip (which use to be a lot less for the longest but they have to increase prices because competition and the economy). They are the most integral. Do sweet and actually care about their work. I might have special treatment but kindness goes a long way with them! Fills start at $40+ and fills run you about $25 flat (cash only)

Another five star review, who's surprised? I scheduled my…read moreappointment with Dary back in June (now July) and the wait was worth it! Between me working and going to school and Dary going on vacation, our schedules didn't overlap. When the day came I was so excited. Her other reviews were all positive and the pictures looked great. Her shop is upstairs in a men's clothing store, which I thought would be shady and dingy but the man in the store told me where to go and it didn't give me a bad vibe at all. Once you enter the store it's clear what everyone means about going upstairs. I was seen at the time of my appointment and we got started right away. Her and her husband are so sweet and made me feel comfortable in their space. We watched tv while I was getting my nails done and we chatted about the show, their sons, where I work, etc. Dary took her time but I didn't feel like she was dragging on. At the end of the appointment I paid (she does take card) and I said thank you and left. Definitely a great spot but make sure to make your appointment in advance.

I'm not sure if it was her or me however I sent a text earlier this month and she said her next availability was May 29. I asked for her to call if she had a cancellation. The system in place does not work well for the price $50 for gel pedicure absolutely my second trip I had to ask her to to work on the skin. I am unable to do my own. I would much rather pay for a pedicure than the $50 co-pay to go to a podiatrist. I'm truly disappointed because I the boutique nail is a little cramped and you do have climb stairs don't arrive early because the chair outside the door is very uncomfortable to sit in! on the first floor they're very friendly they greet you as you come in not connected with the nail salon ! I love to shop small I patronize small businesses as much as humanly possible and avoid the big boxes and the the women that talk about their native tongue. I'm not about to go somewhere and use a translator to know what they're saying that's a terrible practice.
