Big job. Ken and Jordan replaced the heater core on my 2008 F150, which requires complete dash and steering column removal. Jordan did it so well that I can't tell the dash was ever touched, except that now my A/C blows colder and the dash is cleaner. Of course the coolant leak stopped and my heater works again too. Ken gave me an estimate before I dropped my truck off and he stuck to it. The prices were better than fair, they were actually less than I expected for a complicated job of this size. The entire process was flawless. Completed ahead of schedule and very affordably. I'm a body shop estimator at Young Chevy and have been in the car repair business for over 45 years. I feel like I am a good judge of who is good and who is merely acceptable, both in price and in workmanship. TLC surpasses both of those and is my go-to for recommendations now. Ken and his TLC team are fantastic! Repairs are reasonably priced and warrantied, sometimes offered at multiple levels. My family and I especially like the fact that TLC will come get your vehicle, service or repair it, and then return it to you (work or home). They are knowledgeable and professional. Sometimes there are repairs that need to be done, but Ken will let me know if they are a 'do-it-now' or 'it-can-wait' type of situation. One time my car would not start at work, I called TLC and they sent two team members and diagnosed it on site. It was the starter/battery. They jumped the vehicle and took it to the shop for repair and returned it to my home that same day. I have been calling on TLC for service and repairs for about 7 years now. I have been getting my car serviced and repaired at TLC Auto Shop for the last 5 years and I am extremely satisfied every time! I had a repair done at the dealership quite awhile back and was pretty upset at the work done by a certified tech...I use that term loosely. The dealership refunded my money because the job was not done properly and fan blower motor still was not working. I called TLC to take over the disastrous meds the dealership made... I'm so glad I did. TLC found a pinched wire in by the fan blower motor when dealership put it back together. My car could have caught on fire! TLC has taken such good care of our cars that my wife won't let me take them anywhere else now. Her last encounter with the dealership was so bad and so insulting, she has said "never again". Since using TLC for their pick up and delivery service convenience, she has no hesitation in sending any of our vehicles to them for service and feels we always get a straight answer and a better deal than what the dealership would have put her through. Just for the sake of this review, let's say that all car mechanics are equal. Which certainly is not the case. But lets just agree on that for the moment. This shops policy of picking your car up and bringing it back, fixed, is in many cases huge help and huge difference in customer care. Beside that the professionalism in diagnostics, presentations of the problem and options that included prices is unheard off. They are following the American Auto Standard manuals which makes pricing even and transparent . And they even give written warranty on their work. I'm new to the area. Was recommended to check out TLC by a family friend, so I brought in my car to get the transmission fluid topped off. Staff at TLC were very personable, honest, and took good care of my car. At the end of the service, they even had a comprehensive inspection sent to my email, which gave me a good baseline for where my car is at maintenance-wise. TLC did not use any sales pressure tactics to get me to commit to work my car didn't need. They answered any questions I had, and pricing was fair. TLC has taken care of my cars for three years now. Everything about their service and work has been excellent. One car had $4k of damage and they worked thru the entire insurance and finding part process with me. On a regular basis, they perform all service and maintenance. My car broke down and there seemed to be alot wrong with it. I had a mobile mechanic tell me a few things but not everything that was wrong.
