The chips, salsa and guacamole I ordered were good but not to the level of the Mongolian taco. Relative to the restaurant itself, it is kind of tucked away on the side of a small strip mall and not readily visible from the road. You need to be purposely looking for this restaurant to see it , which based on all the good reviews, a lot of people apparently do which means its business is being generated by word of mouth. Nice! Also of note, this is a counter order take out business model with no indoor seating and just two small tables on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant (4 total chairs). Something to keep in mind if you are looking for an indoor dining option. Overall, I believe the more traditional Mexican food options are good at this restaurant but it is the unique/fusion options that make this business stand out from other Mexican restaurants in the area. These unique food twists will be the primary driver of my return visit, which I will definately be doing, to sample some of their other fusion options that they offer. Definately a restaurant to seek out and sample if you are in the Milford area.

[ T.L.D.R: Friendly and quick staff, quality food with good portions.] Do you live in Highland or White Lake? Then this is a great choice for Chinese take out. I order TJ's at least once a week. They give you enough food to last all day, and almost everything tastes great. My personal top 3 choices are; 1. Dragon & Phoenix Chef's Special - general tso's chicken and shrimp in chili sauce. Tastiest thing I've had so far. 2. Any of their Szechuan Combos or the Szechuan Triple Delight Chef's Special - beef, chicken, shrimp with vegetable in szechuan spicy sauce. Just the right amount of spicy & flavor. 3. Beef with Broccoli Combo. This is the one I've ordered the most over the years. (I often ask them to add mushrooms, makes it taste fantastic, sometimes costs a little extra, but always fair.) Now, this place isn't perfect, but for the area, there is no better carry out. Friendly and quick staff, quality food with good portions. The one thing I'm not a fan of is their egg rolls, which are shrimp sauerkraut, but luckily I have a housemate who loves them. read more

Trash Food, Trash Service - Stay Away…read more Another so-called "highly rated" Asian restaurant serving up straight garbage. Let me save you the mistake I made. The food? Disgusting. The service? Even worse. I called to report the awful meal I received, and instead of any kind of accountability, the woman I spoke to told me it was my problem. No apology, no solution just pure attitude and blame-shifting. Classy. Let's talk about the food: * Sweet and Sour Chicken: A soggy, inedible mess. The chicken was drowning in sauce, so saturated the breading slid off like wet paper. Ever had meat slide out of mush? Now I have. Absolutely vile. * Crab Rangoon: Not crispy. Not even close. Rubbery, stale, and lazy. Like someone microwaved it and hoped no one would notice. * Egg Roll: Same story rubbery Zero crunch. Zero flavor. Zero effort. * Wonton Soup: Greasy, flavorless broth with gummy, overcooked wontons that tasted like they'd been soaking in hot water for hours. You'd get more taste chewing a napkin. I live less than two miles away, so don't even try to blame the drive. If your food can't survive a 5-minute trip, you shouldn't be in the takeout business. And when I asked to return the meal? I was told to "throw it in the trash" because they weren't offering a refund or credit. The only honest thing they said all night because that's exactly where this food belongs. Do yourself a favor skip this place. The food is trash. The service is trash. The entire experience was a waste of time, money, and appetite. They clearly don't care about quality or customers.
