Well just wanted to let everyone know I stopped in at this spot and it's called Bad Bennys Pour House. Had the smash burger and fries with some lite beer s and the food was pretty darn good and couldn't beat the price. Service was quick and kind of a local atmosphere that everyone likes. We've given this place a few try's now. First experience, food was mediocre and overpriced. Second experience, waited 45 minutes for overpriced take out, food quality was average at best. Third experience, food was totally bland, almost like they didn't use any sauces when cooked. We were excited when they bought China House, we thought it would be good, but clearly they only brought their equipment and not their cooks or recipes. Not going back to TJ's anytime soon. read more

I'm very impressed! The food was ready early after a very easy online ordering process. It was hot, delicious, and very well priced. The portions were enough that both my husband and I have enough for breakfast tomorrow. We ordered a few different kinds of rolls, hunan chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. All were so yummy! Especially with the restaurant being a 3 minute drive away, this is definitely our new go-to spot. read more

Ordered said it would be an hour. They called at 55 minutes said it was ready. Meanwhile I had to wait in line outside for another 15 minutes in 21 degree weather. Finally my turn to go in, gave them my number, she told me the price, paid, then she said it would be another 15 minutes and they would call. I advised that I was already called and they just said 15 more minutes, they would call. I would not have paid if I would ha e known that. Now I have been waiting another 30 minutes for them to call. 1:45 minutes later still no call, they seem to have lost my order even after I paid. This is a fast food Chinese Restaurant with really great cooking. When we have time, we'll drive all the way out to this place and order our dinner. They have limited seating inside (only a few tables total because it's mostly carry-out) but if you want to eat on site, that's possible too. I'd give it zero stars if that was an option. This is the absolute worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. People on the review site will try to blame it on the fast food aspect. My meal which tallied up to just under $40.00, was completely inedible. Disgusting. It all ended up in the trash. The egg rolls are mushy. The sweet and sour chicken had absolutely zero green peppers or onions, and a rank taste. The won ton soup tasted old. The fried rice was yellow with zero vegetables and the bonus of boiled chicken. First timer. Placed togo order. It was ready in 15 minutes. Almond Chicken, Sweet/Sour chicken, 2 spring rolls for $22. Portions were very large (got 4 meals total out of it) and all was very tasty. Definitely our go to for Chinese! read more

TJs has been my favorite place for Chinese for years. I just love the sweet n sour Chicken, best around in my opinion. One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had! I wish I could give this place negative stars! We came here for a quick dinner but the customer service was so horrible! She was arrogant and pretended that she can not hear my words clearly and kept making me repeat that over and over again. This is ridiculous! I have lived in many places and always look for good Chinese when I move in. This place was awesome and I have eaten in many China towns like San Fran's. this is very good and very flavorful American Chinese. I always try the orange chicken, fried rice, pork lo mein and another random dish to measure against my favorites. Their fried rice is more authentic style almost a grilled smoky flavor with no egg in it but I'd have this style any day over traditional American fried rice. Service was great and the staff was great to meet. Prices were comparable and their lunch meals are fantastic for the money. I'll do doing my weekly Chinese fix here for sure. read more

We order take out from here every once in a while. If you're looking for a quick chinese fix, it usually does the trick. Although I will say the fried rice can be a little bland and I have had much better egg rolls, I won't complain; especially since the combo lunch and dinner prices will fit nearly any budget. Oh, and they are open til 10 or 11p, so that is a bonus for the area. And when dinner takes 10-15 minutes, that is nice too. read more

Tried this place for the first time, and the food was quite good. They use more pepper than our usual place so my extra spicy Kung Pao was just that, as was the hot and sour soup, and my daughter said the Mongolian beef was even spicy (is always marked spicy in the menu but almost never is.). My wife had garlic chicken (no vegatables) and I had beef egg foo young. We also ordered egg drop soup and an egg roll. The garlic chicken was very sweet and overly spicy hot. The beef egg foo young was rather bland and lacking any savory flavor. The egg drop soup was bland and lacking flavor and the crispy noodles were stale. Whenever my wife gets her hair done we come to TJ'S for lunch. I ordered wonton soup and got three large wontons. My wife ordered Kung Pau chicken and we received enough to feed both of us. It was good - the vegetables were not mushy and just the right amount of spiciness. The kitchen staff is such a pleasant group they laugh and sing (in Chinese, of course). They have six tables for those who do not want to order take out. It does seem strange that they don't serve hot tea. read more
