I absolutely love eating here and I have to say their general TSO chicken is the best around and if you haven't tried it you have to. Sometimes the weight can be long so just make sure that you don't show up before they told you to. When she says she has the best crab Rangoon she is not lying I am honestly craving it now just from writing this post. If you've not tried this place definitely give it a shot and decide for yourself. read more

I hate to give a bad review, but unfortunately this food is not very good. The eggrolls are filled with only a cabbage?? The sesame chicken pieces are thick and dry. It just isn't worth going back here. read more

Wonton Palace - Chinese Near Me - Waterford, Michigan

I've gotten food from them many times. However, tonight got the orange chicken and it was terrible. Huge chunks of chicken and dry, hardly any sauce, rice tastes like rice cooked in stock and not fried. I expected small nuggets of chicken with sauce on them. I won't order that again, I'm going to think twice about ordering again from them. Do they have a new cook. Also, had fried wonton, they tasted like a cheap frozen product. Will think twice now. May just go for the lagoons. Hopefully they haven't killed them what is the breading on the orange chicken, more likeca sesame breading. read more

If I could give this review - stars I would because it is absolutely disgusting, chicken is raw & chewy. Rice is tasteless. The only thing good about the food is the sweet & sour sauce. DO NOT EAT HERE. read more

Always an easy meal with really friendly folks. Definitely take a chance and try it out.

First time I have ordered here in over a year. Today the service was fast and friendly. The egg drop soup was hot and delicious. The crab ragoon was hot, crispy and full of the delicious filling. The best I have had even in fancier restaurants. The vegetable fried rice was hot and also very good but could have had more vegetables. I will absolutely be going back. Great food and great fast service. A four star carry out for sure. read more

The food, portion sizes, taste, and cost are all amazing! This is my go to Chinese restaurant!

Great food and big portions! Hot and sour soup is spicy!!!! Food was hot and not expensive at all! Highly recommend!!! Very friendly! read more

Ordered sweet and sour chicken and an almond chicken dinner. Sweet n sour was good, Almond chicken over cooked. Rice has way too much soy sauce as you can tell by looking at it. Egg roll was excellent!! Will go back again. read more

Wonton Palace - Sweet and sour chicken meal. Ate some and egg roll :) - Chinese Near Me - Waterford, Michigan

Food is excellent. Better for carry outs than eating in. Served in a styrofoam carry out container even though I said I was eating my lunch at the restaurant. Gravy was separated in a container so that you could put on as much or as little as you want. Lots of refried rice came with the meal. I ordered the lunch size portion which was quite a bit. Also cam with an egg roll. Soup and drinks are separate charges. I did not try this time but possibly if I return I will. I would give 4 stars for the food and 1.5 for the atmosphere, so I gave it 3 stars because I thought it was a restaurant and it is more of a carry out . read more

Food was disgusting. The rice was not good at all it had no veggies no egg not even any chicken it tasted like it was old and just heated up in a microwave. The sweet and sour chicken tasted like it was cooked in old grease. The shrimp looked raw and uncooked. The egg rolls looked burnt. The crab Rangoon's where the only good thing we ordered The sauce for the almond chicken was extremely watery. The almond chicken was over cooked. The service was over all good and we contacted the person that took our order and explained that it was disgusting and asked for a refund or a discount and she was very nice about it.I overall think that I would never eat from here ever again.0/10 do NOT recommend. read more

Great food!!! The lady who owns it is always smiling! The food is never ready when they promise but it's worth the wait. The portions are almost too big! Not a sit down place however and not very clean. read more

Very Disappointed. Took 3 bites and threw it out. Had to go to subway instead. Portion size: Massive Price: Okay.. $15 for orange chicken meal and wontons. Time: Soo Slow... they said it would be ready in 20 minutes and it took 45... Quality: Below average. Chicken was soggy and had nasty chunks in it. Store cleanliness: they should have many health code violations. The back area looks nasty. Overall: I am never going here again and plan to tell my friends to never go here. read more

Wonton Palace - Orange Chicken meal - Chinese Near Me - Waterford, Michigan

So far, this is my favorite Chinese place in the area. Good prices, good portions. Give them plenty of time to cook before you order.

I tried this carry out place for the first time on my way home, I remember a dear friend saying they had the best wonton soup and I just could resist. At first I was skeptical - it's a small place with a couple of tables. The very sweet lady seemed to be the only one working there. I got 2 different soups - Wonton, Chicken Noodle for my son, added Crab Rangoons and egg rolls. Everything was very good. You get a ton of super tasty Crab Rangoons, the egg rolls were large ones, they didn't skimp on the orange sauce either. I'm totally coming back just for that stuff. Definitely worth it. read more

A hidden gem. The beef Szechuan was so good and so for flavor. It was the best beef Szechuan I have ever had the crab Rangoon was Bursting with filling. The egg rolls were so good and so big. They have hot mustard and not the hot mustard in the packets the real deal. We ordered chicken fried rice, but it didn't come with any veggies just chicken and rice but other than that it's still had flavor. I'm definitely going back. read more

Since new ownership the food is awful. Very greasy and no flavor. Loved it when Jenny owned it. I have given it 3 different times trying it. Never again wasted my money. Threw out my last order total disappointment. read more

This restaurant is under new ownership and it's very evident. The food was barely edible. We ordered sesame chicken dinner, pepper steak dinner, egg rolls and crab rangoon. Only thing that tasted ok was the egg rolls. Chicken was dry, rice was bland and pepper steak bland. Cran rangoon jus didn't taste right. I have tried the food twice since new ownership and disappointed both times. I won't be back read more

Great food! Great portions!! Great Price!!! Love this place!! I have never been disappointed even slightly. Try it you'll see.

Amazing. So lucky to live near this place. Amazing crab rangoon. Huge egg rolls and spring rolls. All the chicken is deliciously crispy. They give you so much food, but even reheated I always finish it before it goes bad. The first time I went in some of the customers waiting told me they'd driven 15-30 minutes because this is their favorite. read more

I've ordered here in the past And it was good. Not sure what has changed , but tonight's food was awful. The pork fried rice smelled and tasted awful. The sesame chicken tasted bad too. I threw it out and went to bed hungry. What a shame, used to be good. read more

If you're looking for large portions, you'll get it here, but you'll also get overcooked dry chicken with an overwhelming amount of fried coating tossed in sauce that tastes like the large amount sugar never even dissolved. The fried rice was also pretty dry and contained way too much soy sauce for my taste. The egg roll was definitely nothing to write home about, pretty standard fare. And finally the egg drop soup was too salty to eat more than a few spoons. I really want to like this place because it's so close to home and the people that work there are so nice, but the food is just not worth it. read more

Ordered the #23 Almond Chicken with Fried Shrimp. The woman taking the order asked if I wanted to add an order of Crab Rangoon, I said yes sure lol She said Okay give me 25 minutes. I showed up at 20. I paid the friendly woman and sat down and waited another 10 minutes. The fried rice is middle of the road and everything was greasy but good. I haven't found a Chinese place that does fried rice and Almond Chicken like China jade, but this place is close. That being said I see why she asked for me to add the crab Rangoon, it was the best I've had so far anywhere don't pass that up. I will return and try other dishes. read more

The food is good and they're so friendly! It's not the cleanest place and that's what concerns me. One time, we heard them scream...it made me wonder if there was a rodent or a bug infestation in the back. Also, they always try to sell you crab wontons and unclaimed dinners. It's bizarre, but the food is good. read more

I haven't had Chinese food for a while and decided to try this place based on the recommendation of a local resident. Typical hole in the wall Chinese place with the expected decor and literally three tables that I'm not sure anyone actually dines at. That being said the owner was super nice and her daughters (I'm assuming) were pretty funny as well! The portions were HUGE for the price. I don't typically have leftovers from a meal, but I have a ton from this place. I'll probably heat them up for a late snack tonight. I ordered the Almond chicken (one of my go-to's) and wonton soup. Everything was delicious. Tender fried chicken, savory sauce, crisp and tasty spring roll, and the soup was hot and delicious as well. I will definitely add this to one of my quick Chinese food stops when I'm in the area! read more

Very good! Definitely only a carry out. Kinda slow but very friendly and fresh. Large portions, reasonable priced and everything was good

Very polite people here, always want to make you feel welcome, food is spectacular but I will warn you.... The wait times are extremely long, though well worth the wait. Chicken is all white meat and breading seems to be made from scratch, (no mystery meat) 3rd time eating here and always consistently good read more

Great value, friendly people. Kids always running around coloring. Food is high end of average American Chinese food. General Tao Chicken is my go-to. Wait time is always long. They will not start your order until you arrive, so don't bother calling ahead. Don't look at the kitchen :-) read more

We love this place! Our most recent experience was ordering through DoorDash. I had a special order so I called and they took my order down before I ordered it online. Yes, they always offer crab Rangoon and yes, they are amazing. The portions are massive and the prices are reasonable. Very good food. This needs to be your go to spot! read more
