This time around my eggroll was good, but the previous order it wasn't. They really need to be more consistent with their quality. The almond chicken was awesome - none of that brown gravy nonsense either (it was relatively clear instead, like it should be). The chicken fried rice was on point with a lot of veggies and chicken pieces inside. The fried pork dumplings were fantastic as well. No issues here! My wife's entree was Chop Suey, which was super dense with goodies and way too much. Very good too! My only negative was the Won Ton soup. It had a ton of broth and the dumplings were just a little too doughy for my tastes. We will definitely come back here now that we know it's legit again. You should too! read more

Our meal of a dinner portion of sesame chicken with the upgraded shrimp fried rice and an additional egg role was excellent as usual. The portion was large and there was a small amount of chicken and rice left for a lunch the next day. On this visit I walked in and ordered a carry out order. The food was ready in 35 minutes. When dining in, the food is brought to the table in the carry out container. We don't mind that as we almost always bring some home, so its already good to go. We do get disposable plates and real flatware. We don't mind that either. We always have a positive dining experience. A great family run business. read more

Was craving Chinese food last night, so I turned to Yelp as I did not want to go very far and I did not feel like going in to a restaurant, so it was take out. Ordered 2 dinner combos: General Tso's Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Both combos came with fried rice and an egg roll. I also ordered hot & sour soup. The exterior of the building was in need of some TLC - weeds galore and the parking lot had many potholes. Fortunately, they had a drive thru window for the food pick up so I did not have to go in - bonus! Well, the food was disappointing at best. Egg rolls were over done and chewy and were not much on the palette pleasing side either. The fried rice was nothing I had ever experienced before - it was just steamed rice mixed with soy sauce. Ugh! The Mongolian Beef was more shreds of onion than anything else and because of that, the flavor was quite bland. The General Tso's Chicken and Hot & Sour Soup were the only standouts in the meal. Late Easter Sunday, around 9:30pm, with no other restaurants open, we saw that New China King had lights on with people inside eating. We went inside, and I asked if they were still serving food. The manager told me that they closed at 9, but that they would be happy to make food for carry out. In under 10 minutes we had two amazing meals to carry out! Thank you New China King. This just shows how out of touch people are. I ordered my food, sweet and sour chicken, and 2 apps because I was sharing with a friend.potstickers and beef on a stick. I called and ordered from the menu I got from their website. According to their website my order should have been around 20. 8 for the chicken and 6 for each of the apps. $38! Bullshit. The lady said that's not even our menu we just put it up and they haven't touched it years. This is their problem. False advertising. Avoid this place they were incredibly rude to boot! read more

The new owners are Mutch nicer, before with the old owners would not clean the place and the food was not the best, but with the new owners the food is much better, and the place is so much cleaner. but the Styrofoam plates are killing us. hopefully they get glass. read more

I think this is greatly improved under new ownership. The dining in experience is a little unusual in the sense that the meal is served in a carton and a paper plate, but you do get a real glass and utensils. The lunch special arrived to my table quickly after I placed my order. As a longtime connoisseur of sesame chicken, I expected a little spicier sauce. The chicken was excellent - much better than most Chinese take out chicken. The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I also love the aquarium. read more
