Unfortunately, the dining experience didn't quite live up to the presentation or the price. We opted for the Gold tier, which isn't even their highest package, and it came out to around $100 per person before drinks. At that price point, I expected something more memorable and quality. The food wasn't bad by any means but its just maybe 10% better than kpot and certainly didn't justified the cost. One of my biggest complaints was the seating. The tables are cramped, which is particularly frustrating at a hot pot restaurant where you're cooking your own food and need room to manage all the ingredients. We were seated right next to the buffet, with a constant stream of people walking past our table, making an already tight space feel even more crowded. As for the food, I was particularly underwhelmed by the A5 Wagyu. I'm a big fan of A5 beef, but when it's sliced that thin and cooked in shabu-shabu broth, much of what makes it special gets lost. I really couldn't appreciate the richness or flavor that normally makes A5 worth the premium. Ultimately, Chubby Cattle is a visually impressive restaurant with a fun concept, but the food and overall experience don't justify the price tag. I didn't have a bad time, but I also left feeling like I'd paid a premium for the cramped atmosphere rather than the meal itself. I wouldn't return on my own, though I'd consider going again if someone else really wanted to try it.

The sushi bar had seven spots while the rest of the dining room could hold another 50 customers or so. The multi-page menu booklet contained a lot of typical offerings for a Japanese restaurant. There were also items from other cuisines like Chinese and Thai. We focused on the sushi rolls and ordered three simple rolls and three rolls from the House Specialty category. * Eel Avocado * New York - salmon, avocado, tamago * Yellowtail * Godzilla - spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, and avocado on the inside; topped with tuna, seared salmon, and special sauce * Pinwheel - yellowtail, salmon, shrimp, scallops, avocado, scallions, and tobiko wrapped in soy paper * YUME Naruto - tuna, salmon, yellowtail, crab salad, and avocado wrapped with cucumber paper and served with ponzu sauce The simple rolls were brought out together on a wooden platter adorned with a flower vase in a corner and ginger and wasabi in an opposite corner. The rolls were rather small in size and came as six pieces in an order. The prices were reflective of the simple makeup. The New York Roll was the best of this bunch as the salmon had the best texture of the fishes. The House Specialty rolls were also grouped on a similar platter with flowers, ginger, and wasabi. Their prices were double that of the simple rolls, however they were larger in size and contained multiple fishes in each one. I'm biased towards rice-less rolls and of the two that we selected, the Pinwheel was the winner because of how light it tasted with a soy paper wrap. The service was adequate as only two or three other parties came in while we were there. I gave a four star rating for our meal at Yume Sushi & Asian Cuisine.
