Decent restaurant considering not other options in the area. On the expensive side as we just got a $17 Caesar salad and it was another $12 to add 3oz of salmon......Fish and chips at $27. The world we live in is more expensive but not sure this is worth it.

    Steak bites. Very tough.

Took my mother in-law out for dinner on Sunday afternoon. We were sat right away. Server was nice and fast. Appetizer was steak bites and bread, steak was grissily. Husband and mother in-law ordered fish, they were happy. I ordered rattlesnake pasta, great with a spicy kick. Toddler got spag with meat sauce and a meat ball. We had cheese cake and chocolate cake(was not good) for dessert. The only thing I can complain about was that the food took a little longer than I was hoping. I asked for everything to come out asap bc the toddler doesn't last long at sit down restaurants. The server coursed the food, ie app first then salad, then entrees. I specifically asked for everything to come out as quickly as possible. All that being said the food was great. I would definitely go back, just without a small child. It was my choice to take a toddler to a nice sit down dinner. But it all worked out.

My friend and I were on a shopping excursion and I found Lyon Grill on Yelp. After glancing at the menu, I was very intrigued by the Traverse City Burger. Burgers with unique flavors always catch my eyes and this one has sautéed dried cherries, blue cheese, and onion straws. The burger was done just right - medium well - as ordered and the bun was nice and toasted. Otherwise the burger flavors were just alright. I didn't taste the cherries much and the blue cheese was overpowering in some areas. The onion straws didn't add much either. I'd try another burger here, but wouldn't get this one again. The sweet potato fries presented as waffle fries were also very average. My overall lunch was pricey! The burger itself was $14 then adding a side of sweet potato fries added another $3. And to top it off our waitress charged me $1 for a small container of truffle aioli (which my friend had with her burger). It was good, but not $1 good! The place seemed clean, it wasn't busy so the noise level was good, and seating with ample. Overall just an alright experience and I'd try somewhere else if in the area again.

Oh. My. Atlanta! I cannot wait to come back to this place! Came here Sunday evening around 6ish. We knew it would be busy but we got in, held up , got waved to the front of the hostess stand and said we'd take first available. Luckily for us, the massive crowd was waiting for outdoor seating and takeout orders. We sat in a comfy booth and relaxed the rest of our evening. Our waitress was fantastic and gave us her recommendation. The steak bites!! Get them!! Delicious everything. We had such a hard time picking our entrees. Even more of a reason to return Parking: looks like a small lot but extends further back Attire: cute and casual with an upscale flare

    Roasted Garlic Board

This place reminded me of a diner that was renovated with a facelift trying to be an upscale restaurant. Our table of 4 was almost on top of the table where one of the corners I barely could squeeze by. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. My favorite part of the meal was the roasted garlic board. The bread was nicely toasted and the roasted garlic and butter made it a great appetizer. I do wish we had a few more pieces of bread because we had a lot of garlic left over but our server did get us some dinner rolls to use instead. I ordered a Mai Thai salad and went with the Ahi Tuna instead of chicken. I liked the cilantro dressing but felt like the mango was out of place with the other flavors and the tuna was cooked right but on the bland side. My cousin ordered the filet and shrimp and requested it to be medium and ilit came medium well. I don't think the food is bad but for the prices I would expect a little bit better.

We decided to try something new after finding this restaurant online and liking the pictures of the dishes. The place looks pretty on the outside and pleasant enough inside. It was rather busy for dinner so overall experience was unremarkable. Food was hit or miss. Tuna appetizer looked delicious but wasn't. Lobster tails dish was subpar- lobster didn't have much flavor. Tasted like salt water . Thanksgiving dinner was ok. However, steak was good! I ordered medium and it came just as I was hoping- juicy and flavorful, baked potato was good as well. Overall this place was just ok, would not drive 40 min to get to this place again. Bottom line: satisfied the hunger but left no lasting impressions

We came on a Wednesday evening and I was so shocked to find the parking lot so full! And walking in, I was just as shocked to see how big this place was on the inside. Plenty of seating for sure! Of course we had reservations so that was nice and probably highly recommended. We enjoyed the bread and butter provided to the table as we mingled. They even had gluten free bread ($5 extra). We all ordered a variety of foods. I ordered the waygu meatloaf with mashed potatoes & string beans and it was really enjoyable. It was like eating an elevated home-cooked meal. Everybody was genuinely satisfied. And they provide separate checks so that was also a nice addition to our evening.

They were fairly busy, but we had a reservation and were seated quickly in the Lodge portion of the restaurant. Despite the busyness, the server was attentive throughout our time there. The starting complementary bread was warm and crusty, and it was a good sign of things to come. To start, I ordered a Peach Bourbon and my husband got the Cranberry Incipient to drink. The cocktail was excellent and the flavors were well balanced. My husband said the beer was nice but surprisingly sweet. Later, I ordered the Party Starter NA cocktail which was tart but nicely spiced. For food, we split the coconut shrimp appetizer which came with a sweet Orange Malibu glaze. The sweetness of the glaze paired well with the subtle coconut flavor of the shrimp and they were fried well. I ordered the Baseball steak medium rare with fried Brussels sprouts and Parmesan whipped potatoes as sides. The sides were great, and while the steak was very flavorful, it was a little tough and on the rarer side for my taste. My husband ordered the beef Wellington with cauliflower, carrots, and green beans. The beef was perfectly cooked and the mushroom duxelle was very tasty, but unfortunately the pastry was underbaked (although I know that is notoriously difficult to get just right). The sides were lackluster, lacking any seasoning and likely just steamed with butter. The portion sizes were good; we ate nearly all of it minus a few bites of the sides and were comfortably full. But of course, we couldn't stop there. We ordered the molten lava cake and were convinced by the waiter (without too much effort) to add vanilla ice cream. It was wonderful, but incredibly rich and decadent. Overall, it was a great experience and this is a place we would eat at again.

We tried the Super Chimi with an option of chicken in one, and beef in the other, excellent! The Fajitas are served on a sizzling skillet with warm soft tortillas which are great! Most of their food comes with rice and beans on the side, and their margaritas are tasty! The authentic Mexican decor throughout just adds to the atmosphere. They are a great place to visit with a date, family or even a decent sized group. It's not very loud, so you can have plenty of time to talk, and the pricing is surprisingly not very expensive. I highly recommended this restaurant, their menu has something for everyone, even those who don't like very spicy food!

Cancun Mexican Grill is located in the Gateway Commons strip mall next to a bank. The menu is a small spiral binder because there are so many menu options. I ordered the Birria Tacos because it was only beef tacos in the Taco section of the menu. The birria tacos are made with slow cooked beef. It was a little chewy and my corn tortillas were falling apart. I had to resort to eating them with a fork. I later ordered tacos for a friend to-go and I was shown the ala carte section at the back of the binder with ground beef tacos for purchase for one or three tacos. I believe those were better than mine with hard shells. The service was fine. They were very quick in bringing our food. We started out with chips and salsa. I would have liked individual saucers for the three of us so we weren't continuing to dip our chips in the same bowl of salsa. The restaurant is a nice size. They have plenty of seating options - booth, table & chairs and a bar area. Tip: Look for coupons in the local paper for $7 or $10 off.
