My husband took me here for a quiet dinner. It looks really upscale but the vibe from customers is casual. Good menu selection and I was able to add celery to my Cashew Beef very easily by request. I'm glad I did because it needed a bit of crunch. It was a bit sweeter than I expected but still very tasty. My headband had the Garlic and Ginger Chicken and enjoyed his meal as well. I also had a cocktail that was tasty but a bit light in alcohol. Our server was excellent - fast and friendly. Parking was a bit tight in the lot behind the restaurant at 6:30 on a Wednesday. read more

Service was friendly although the waitress didn't know much about Asian food. I had ramen and it was pretty bad. Just salty broth with very little flavor. This place is more fusion without much authenticity. Their menu is all over the place. Seems like they'd be better off specializing in a few things rather trying to serve dishes like five different Asian cuisines. read more

Very disappointed in our food. Sushi was mush and very fishy we had to throw it away. My husbands orange chicken was also not good he ate two bites. Will not be returning. read more

I don't understand their mediocre review score. We walked in thinking we were underdressed for the room. It had the look and feel of an upscale restaurant, then we noticed people were dressed casually. Our server was top notch. Very professional. Very proficient. No empty glasses and he promptly removed the used dishes. Several visits to our table without overdoing it. The food was exceptionally good. Mrs. E. raved about the Orange Chicken, my friend Bob loved his California Roll, leaving his wife, Deb, to tackle a good sized plate of Chicken Pad Thai. I recommend both the Eel Sashimi and the Red Snapper Nigiri. The portions are a decent size and the price is reasonable. A young man playing guitar and singing 70's pop tunes helped round out a perfect Saturday night. 08/25 read more

Amazing food! Best crab Rangoon! We enjoyed the pan fried dumplings, wonton soup and sesame chicken. We drove 40 minutes to this restaurant and it was worth it. Our server was also fantastic! read more

I ordered VEGETARIAN General Tso's chicken via DoorDash and received REAL chicken instead. This was upsetting as I am vegetarian. In the trash it went, sadly. Vegetarians beware: don't trust this restaurant. read more

Ordered take out today - we got the general tso's chicken and the crispy almond chicken. Very disappointed. The white rice and fried rice were undercooked. The chicken in both entrees was extremely overcooked, like rock solid and stringy as can be. Pissed that i drove 20 minutes one way in a diesel truck then spent $50 on takeout to get home and take three bites before my wife and i look at eachother with disgust from how bad the food was ‍ read more

71.00 dollars for 2 meals as a carry out. Beware, we were added a service fee, plus our price was more expensive than the menu prices! When confronted they offered to give a credit on the next visit. No thank you, keep it. We will never frequent again. Way overpriced for what it is. read more

Food and service were outstanding. We came for lunch and we ordered sushi and Asian. Food came out quickly and was hot and delish! So much food we all took food home. Great lunch menu. read more

Came here on a Friday night for dinner and was pleased! Great place for dining in- plenty of seating and very kind service. Got the vegetarian pad thai- great portion. Enough for me for dinner and lunch the next day, so very affordable for two meals! The only con was that the dish was very sweet and not spicy, which is not typical for pad thai. Possibly plum sauce? read more

My understanding of Chow Mein is that it's stir-fried noodles with vegetables. I was very disappointed to find out that it was just the chicken with the veggies listed. On top of that, it was not very good and very bland. General Tso's chicken was good. They filled the bottom of the carry out container with broccoli to give less of a serving of chicken. I don't think my husband and I will not be returning. read more

Ordered takeout. Got sushi. Worst sushi Ever. If I could give it negative stars I would. If you want better sushi go to kroger right next door and get the 5 day old shit from snowfox. The sushi also fell apart like a crumbly cookie. This shit sucks ass. Would never recommend read more

Food was ok maybe one step better than panda express. Pan fried dumplings should not be deep fried . The fortune cookies were stale. P.S if it's not fresh don't serve it. Frozen is not fresh. read more

Pan fried dumplings are not pan fried, just thrown in the deep fryer. Food is mediocre and overpriced given the quality. Owner is awful.

The food is just ok but we order carry for convenience. We have ordered multiple times and something is always missing from our order. Our most recent order was missing rice if you can believe it! We also ordered chicken and got beef. By the time we got the order home it was not worth going back for them to correct it. We will not be going back. Our recent order was the final straw. read more

Best lo mein ever. Place is really great Chinese food with good service. New owners really changed this place around. Highly recommended

Went for dinner the guy playing guitar and singing was so loud we couldn't even have a conversation at the table on the other side of the room after moving from a table closer to his "stage". Not an untalented performer but way too loud for the small venue do not recommend for a group dinner or even a date if you want to have dinner conversation read more

Everyone, Lei Ting Blue Pearl is under new ownership. The reviews and pictures show here are all very old and no longer applicable to this current business's offerings. The decor is super nice. They have a full bar. I ordered the beef Pho. Absolutely excellent. The beef was super tender and the broth had an amazing taste. Great experience!! This is a whole new Lei Ting, and it's awesome!! Really like this place! Great location, friendly staff and the food is one of the best for Chinese food in the area.

Had to wait a bit as seems there was only one person working. Food was good (mine). Hubby said his chicken was too salty. Left overs were great the next day! read more

Pleasant dining with a beautiful ambiance, and table settings. Artfully placed blue decor. Quieter sounds absorbing decor, making speaking together easy for even those who are hard of hearing. Very good food. read more

Flavor doesnt equal the amount that they charge. Also-they put zero heat in their dishes. No matter how much you say you want it spicy and very spicy or give me all the heat you can do-it always comes out without any spice and often times very very bland. I can say that their soup is good though. read more

If you're looking for a chill place to grab some Asian inspired food in Milford, this is the place to go. I only knocked off one star because when I went they weren't serving sushi, which in my opinion is a staple food. However, the service was great, atmosphere was great and the food was really good. I recommend getting a bottle of Pinot noir and chowing down on some chicken fried rice! It's also a perfect take-out restaurant. xx read more

Lei Ting - Dinner menu - Asian Fusion Near Me - Milford, Michigan

Most the dishes have the same sauce and it's just very uninspired food for Disney world level prices. The quality is always good, I just don't really like the sauce, personally. The price is maybe triple other places and that makes it a complete nonstarter for me. read more

I've tried take-out at Lei Ting Blue Pearl (formerly Lei Ting) both before and after the new ownership. I didn't have much to say before, but now I can't say enough good things about the food and service here! The menu is a bit more asian-fusion over Chinese, but all aspects were super tasty. A bit pricy, but well-worth for the quality and quantity they serve. They made a mistake about missing an item that we ordered and paid for but was great at fixing the issue. Personal favorites I recommend at the moment are: - The honey sesame chicken. Perfect balance of sweet and savory, and it's quite crispy too! - The sauce on the Las Vegas roll and its freshness was great. - The egg-roll was massive! From now on, I'll be excited to eating from LeiTing Blue Pearl! read more

Very pricey for below average food. Wait staff seemed very arrogant when I asked questions about specials. I think this is a hard pass for me. read more

I really expected better for how much we spent on our order. Over $70 for 2 meals, and 3 apps - good grief. Crab Rangoon's and dumplings / pot stickers were the best part of our order, but they literally cost DOUBLE what we pay at our normal Chinese carry-out joint, and they were good but not THAT much better... sushi was not great, we got an order of California rolls, and the 2 that tried them each had one, they apparently weren't good enough enough to go back for a second roll. So again, total waste of money there. The sesame chicken was ok, nothing to write home about. The pad Thai was the strangest flavor - not enjoyable. It had more onions than chicken, so you better like onions a LOT if you order this. We won't be going back here, I'm disappointed because I am looking for a new place for Chinese carry-out, I don't mind spending the extra money if it is worth it, but this was not. Photo is of the onions we picked out of the chicken pad-Thai, and even ate some of them... I don't dislike onions, I just don't want the entire flavor profile of the dish to be onion. So disappointing. read more

Lei Ting - the onions we picked out of the chicken pad-Thai, even after eating a lot of them that weren't picked out. - Asian Fusion Near Me - Milford, Michigan

Great quality food and very friendly team. I have ordered To Go multiple times and always on point,

We have been getting carry out from here for many years, Quite disappointed this time. Just ordered Chicken chop suey dinner and Shrimp & vegetable stir fry. Food tasted good, good sauce and Veggie fried rice very good. Mixed vegetable soup was SUPER salty. Way too much use of cheap vegetable's in both dinners, lot's and lot's of big sliced carrots and big chunks of green peppers to fill the cartons... Absolutely no water chestnuts or bamboo shoots and very little bean sprouts??? For a third of the price you could get a similar quality stir fry dinner at Leo's. read more

First time here. Very nice decor. Started with soup ( 4 of us ) Won ton home made large and delicious, hot and sour soups got " excellent " reviews, Tom yum was quite large and fantastic!! Dinner dishes Thai basil and Thai curry chicken , almond chi, and vegetable stir fry. All too large to finish and all were just fantastic. Lynne was our waitress, her service was exceptional! Now as you may know, I tell it like it is with my reviews. This establishment will be on our regular rotation and was exceptional tonight ! read more

A hidden treasure, and definitely my favorite restaurant in Milford. The food is always fresh and delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the food you receive, and the service is always top notch. We can't wait to try a lunch at Lei Ting. Many selections and only $11 (what a deal). Also, we're going to sign up for a cooking class. Try the hot and sour soup - it's the best I've ever had. Thank you to our wonderful waitress yesterday - Rory! read more

A little hard to find this place. Google takes you upstairs to the building and it really should tell you to go down and behind the building. That said, it was a delightful experience.. Decor is lovely, very clean and classy and service was great. The prices seem high and I guess they are until you see the portion sizes. My husband had General Tso Chicken and I had Almond Boneless Chicken, We took home enough to have a full meal the next night. There is a lovely bar, the restrooms were nice and the new owners appear to be doing a good job! 4 1/2 stars. Would go back. read more

Lei Ting was recently featured in an article in the local weekly newspaper, The Spinal Column. Having been a local Chinese eating establishment for decades, it had been recently purchased back by its original owner. They reported a grand plan to create a place that specialized in Asian Fusion. Milford is in need of some culturally diverse restaurants. We were sold on the concept and visited Lei Ting on the Fourth of July. We walked in to find the restaurant more than half full which was a good sign. The decor was a cool blue, attractive and modern and clean. The attractive menus were presented and were quite diverse: Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai and Fusion. The chef's special 5-spice duck was posted on a sign by the bar. I love duck, especially duck breast, and when I can get it, I often cook it at home. My choice was easy. My wife was indecisive. She loves sushi but we were here to have a hot meal. She ordered Orange Chicken (although she would have ordered the more traditional, Orange Beef had they agreed to substitute). I requested calamari for a starter and she opted for a Spicy Tuna Hand Roll from the sushi bar. The waiter came back looking lost to report that they were out of calamari. I decided that the hot & sour soup would be enough for my appetizer. From here it was all down hill. The hand roll arrived and it was loaded with imitation crab and mayonnaise. Mayonnaise on sushi? No ginger, no wasabi, no soy sauce. Mayonnaise. And where was the spicy salmon? My wife mentioned it to the waiter and he seemed to not have a clue. After she rejected to the creation, I visited the sushi bar where owner "Chef Tom" was engrossed in a game or something on his cell phone. It took a full minute before he looked up. I told him about the mistake and he apologized and created the spicy tuna hand roll that was ordered. It was just as uninspiring and un-Japanese as the first creation. In the meantime, I was served my hot and sour soup which was neither hot nor sour. To be painfully accurate, there was so much gunk in the bowl that it was more like a thick stew of soy flavored mucus and tofu. Blech Then came the mains. The 5-spice duck was horrid. It was served on a nest of over cooked rice with mushrooms that were still ice cold. Buried in the rice were a couple of mini bokchoy halves that were saturated with water. The duck was inedible. It had been warmed so many times that it had a powdery consistency. And it was so salty that it made me gag. In my last bite, the overcooked meat tasted like it had been sitting on a dirty wash cloth. To say this was the worst version of duck that I have ever eaten in my 65 years of life would be a profound understatement. And it came back to haunt me. Within 12 hours I was tied to the toilet with acute food-borne diarrhea. The Orange Chicken was not much better. A meal at the fast food joint, Panda, would have been tastier for half the price. This dish was sugary though not with much orange or spice flavor. The rice was also overcooked mush. The dessert menu was just as compelling as the lunch/dinner menu. But with such a poor performance so far, we opted for a stop at the local Dairy Queen for some ice cream to purge the taste of the horrible dinner. I hate to leave bad reviews. But I also have no patience for poor service and bad food. It was such a shame really. We were looking for a restaurant that we could frequent. Instead we will continue on occasion to trek out to Troy or Rochester where the restaurants are markedly better. We won't be back to Lei Ting. Cost: $58 plus tip. Plenty of parking. read more

We had a party of six at this restaurant tonight. The food was amazing. Service was excellent. Even the owner comes by your table to see that all is well. immaculately clean. Prices very reasonable. I ate lunch with my friend at this little gem last week. Park in the back of the building. The restaurant is in the walk-out lower level and more accessible. There is a super close, handy elevator that will see you comfortably to the street level if that's where you parked. I ordered the garlic honey chicken. Fresh ingredients, delicious flavors mingled in this Asian delight, generous portion. My friend had the Gen Tso's chicken which she said was the best she had ever eaten. She took home a doggy box because with the lettuce wraps, eggroll, and the main course, satiety came quickly. I had the Tom Yum soup and had 2 lettuce wraps as my appetizers. The soup was full of fresh vegetables, a savory peppery broth, perfectly seasoned without any burn to the palate. I needed a doggy bowl to take home 2/3. [I enjoyed the soup for breakfast the next day...yum] It was that generous of a serving and would have certainly filled me up before the main course. The eggroll found a good home, too, dipped generously in their sweet house sauce. The serving sizes will fill up anyone's hungry appetite, which I had that day, having had nothing to eat in 20 hours. The food was served hot and with friendly, efficient, attentive service by our server, Patty. The outgoing owner was present, too, seeing to every patron's comfort. Everyone had a smile on their faces, making the energies very positive at Lei Ting Blue Pearl. The decor is beautiful, serene, and contributes favorably to your culinary experience. It was difficult to choose my selections because everything on the menu sounded amazing and looked it, as well, coming out of the kitchen. I most certainly will return often, and bring family & friends. I told many in my network about Lei Ting already because it's important that we patronize good businesses and rebuild the life we all enjoyed - that almost went to sh*t during and since the "Plan-demic." read more
