Pretty good price to food ratio. The Hunan chicken was really good for my first try. I got the extra spicy level and it was just the right amount of spicy. So not too spicy for me! I liked the wonton soup! First time seeing wonton soup with additional veggies in the soup like bean sprouts and (I believe) bokchoy. Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the egg drop soup. It was way too thick in consistency. I also wasn't a fan of the fried rice. There wasn't any veggies or egg in the rice and it was a bit on the dry side. I scraped up every drop of the sauce from the chicken to mix in with the rice. But other than that, it was still good. I'd definitely like to try the other menu items. read more

You definitely get the feeling they prefer people to order out instead of eating there. The woman who runs the business is very pleasant and the food is a solid 3 out of five. Not great and not bad. This location really surprised me. We got a general tso chicken dinner to share and WE LOVED IT. Their chicken fried rice is actually WAY better than many locations I've tried. I could have literally just ate all that flavorful rice and would have been happy. But it doesn't stop there. Crab Rangoons with STAPLE PLUM SAUCE was unmatched. We ordered extra plum sauce cuz I had a good feeling about it. Overall I'm IMPRESSED and want to come back for the Boneless Almond Chicken. I'm a huge fan of this place; fast service and great food! Their noodles are phenomenal, and I always get their honey walnut shrimp! Kay Hing - or "The Hing" as my 16 year old likes to call it. It's one of those places that has to be recommended to you or you have to be very adventurous in order to discover it. That's because if you simply wander in off of the street, you almost certainly won't stay. Let's be honest - The place is a dive. However, once you try it, you will be hooked. Not the best Chinese food ever, but a great, consistent, quality meal at a good price. My favorites are the Kung Pao chicken or the Lo Mein - Either is a great choice. I am used to thick juicy noodles that soak up the sauce. In this case it was very thin noodles and most of the sauce was in the to-go bag. Not happy, but in the s-show we find ourselves in these days, I'm grateful for any awesome human making me something I haven't had in months! Average food but very nice staff. I went for lunch at 12:30 and there was only one lady seating guests and serving all the table! There are only a few vegetarian options on the lunch menu. I tried the tofu which was very garlicky. The hot and sour soup was thick and good with lots of veggies and tofu. They might have fake meat on the full menu but I was only given the lunch menu. This place doesn't look like much, but their food is great and service is better. Very nice and friendly. Family has been going there for years and they deliver to nearby areas during certain hours. Tried this place on a co-workers recommendation but was disappointed. I ordered chicken lo mein, worst I've ever had! No sauce at all of any kind. No flavor at all. Chix looked boiled and bland. The noodles literally looked like I boiled ramen noodles w out the flavor packet. I called to complain and they offered to make me something different which I didn't want to do. I just wanted a refund, she wouldn't give me my money back. I had to order something else. No apologies, made me feel like a bother. I had recently heard many great reviews about Ka Hing and despite living in the area for several years, I had never eaten here. I was recently at a charity poker tournament at the local bowling alley and saw several of their menus floating around. I took it as a sign and ordered carry out from them the next night! We were not disappointed! My boyfriend was hesitant as he is fussy about his Almond Chicken. There is one place in the area that he religiously orders from so a standard was in place. He absolutely loved it! The portion of chicken was huge - enough for a couple people and the fried rice was perfectly cooked. Normally, he doesn't save leftovers so I was floored when he actually wrapped this up and had it for lunch the next day. I ordered the Shrimp Egg Foo Yong and it too was fabulous! The patties were big and each one had a lot of shrimp in it. Many other places will use the same brown gravy for both Almond Chicken and Shrimp Egg Foo Yong but that wasn't the case here which was a nice surprise. It was very rich, flavorful and not too salty as some are. The ingredients were all fresh and the food was hot and appealing. The order was prepared within the time quoted and packed in a box instead of a bag. Some items were wrapped in plastic as well which was nice as I didn't have to worry about food spilling in my car. The staff is very friendly and quick with service. We will definitely be back soon! read more
