This is by far, one of my all-time favorite Thai restaurants. We used to live in White Lake and came here often but we moved so it wasn't somewhere we could go regularly without a drive. I had a chance to grab a carryout order a few weeks ago and wow, it reminded me how much I missed this place. Service always seems to be friendly and it doesn't seem to matter what time of day I've stopped in to either dine in or pick up a carryout order. Food is excellent - I usually get a noodle style dish like Pad Thai or one that has a curry sauce with noodles. All I can say is YUM! Ambiance is fine for a small strip-mall type restaurant. They keep the place clean and the decor is good for this type of restaurant. Stop by and check it out for yourself and maybe even leave a review afterwards! Well... as an old customer of the previous owner, sadly we were very disappointed. Was presented with virtually cream cheese only Rangoon, a house special chicken dish that was so heavily battered, and rock hard, the mouth feel was terrible and the fried rice was like everywhere else...way to over spiced. This place was always our go to for clean handmade Thai cuisine- they need to rethink what they bought and bring back the old school methods.... Please offer less items, done well and customers will return. read more

There are limited options in the White Lake area which is the only reason we kept giving this place a chance. After multiple mid-grade experiences both dining in and in carry out, we just went to pickup carry out (which is rarely ready when estimated and pickup service is frequently curt and borderline surely) to find that tonight, they "forgot to give the order to the kitchen." I can't even comprehend how bad at your job you have to be to miss this critical responsibility... did they offer a discount or a free drink while he waited an additional 20 minutes? Nothing. It wasn't busy, they were not slammed with carry out. For our carry out order from 3 weeks ago - they didn't separate the white rice... they literally put it into the same container as the curry. This is a really interesting Thai restaurant. Food is good but very different. The lunch soup was delicious. I asked the server what kind of soup it was and she said "lunch soup". When I pressed her for a name of the soup she said it was "lunch soup" again. ‍. I actually searched the internet to see if I was missing something and couldn't find anything. . Spring rolls had curry inside which was very different from any I've ever had but again, good. They didn't have my favorite dish so I ordered Pad Khing with Chicken, medium. It was pretty spicy but also good. They also had catfish dishes on the menu which I've never seen before. Restaurant is clean and service was just ok. I just moved to town and wanted to try the Thai place everyone raves about. I ordered chicken cashew with white rice and an order of chicken spring rolls. Everything was overly salty and every veggie in that cashew chicken was from a can. Even the onions and peppers were slimy like they'd been sitting in a can for a long time. Very few cashews or chicken for that matter. It was gross and not like any Thai food I've ever tried. More like some sad version of Chinese food? Anyway I'm done with this place. I wasn't expecting to get good Thai food in Michigan but I thought maybe it was worth a try. I was wrong, so wrong haha. We love Siam Fusion food and have been ordering here since 2019, almost weekly. More recently while the food is unchanged they have significantly changed their portion sizes... when ordering red curry the portion of rice they give with it is enough for a quarter of the sauce (we end up making additional rice at home). Also more recently they changed their take out containers which hold much less... if ordering for an adult expect to have to buy TWO meals! My 6 year old can happily eat their portions. If you are looking to spend a small fortune on good food but less than adequate food portions than this is your place. read more

One of the best Thai food places I've had! Highly recommend the Chicken Pad Thai and fried rice. We also got spring rolls which were equally as delicious! They have many dine in tables as well as a carry out counter. Our food is usually done fairly quickly. Definitely a good option if you are craving Thai food in the local area. read more

Major Shrinkflation I ordered Gang karee with chicken. There might have been 2oz of little shards of chicken. I also ordered TomKha with chicken, a little tiny cup for 4 dollars with almost no chicken either. It's just not worth it here. We went to Siam Fusion as we have for the last 18 years. To say we were disappointed is such an understatement. A few months ago they put deodorizing sprays that plug-in in their bathrooms and set both of them too high. The entire restaurant, which used to smell like amazing Thai food, now reeks of tropical floral scents that have triggered asthma attacks for members of my family. We asked them to please remove them or turn them down, but each time we have gone in over the last few months one or more members of my family has had to leave due to the triggering of asthma attacks with does not usually happen for us. In addition, when we tried to eat the food while we were there with the deodorizers, we couldn't even taste the food or smell it because the deodorizing scent was so overwhelming . We voiced our concerns and our requests to remove the deodorizers have been ignored. That was disappointing. We accepted that we needed to do carry out and that I am the only one in my family who can go in to get the food. Today, however, when I went to pick up the food, they had new containers for carry out that held a quarter of the size of food that their old containers held. One container filled two child size bowls. When I asked if they were communicating this change, and explained that it clearly was a substantial decrease in the amount of food, they said that it was just the new size of the containers. I am including photos so you can understand the size and how little we got for $60. One container of food filled two small child bowls--that was all. I am sad to say for the years that we had wonderful service and food that I never took a moment to say how wonderful we thought Siam Fusion was. Even when the original owner sold, we enjoyed a good quality at a fair price. It is only been in the last year that we have been incredibly disappointed. Even when there were price increases over 18 years, we understood without question or complaint. But this is the last straw for us. read more

My whole family loves siam - we get it (almost) every week. I moved away from the area for a few years and would get siam every time I was back in town.... I've tried many other places and nothing compares. The food is fresh and you can tell they use quality ingredients. They can get busy for carry out orders but it's so worth they wait - they never miss. The service is great. They're always super friendly even when they're super busy! My favorites are Thai Legend, peanut curry, pad thai, and pineapple curry. read more

Never had drunken noodles, so my wife and I went out on a whim and ordered some DoorDash. Drunken Noodles, Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay with the peanut sauce.... All delicious. The noodles were wide, chewy, and the sauce was phenomenal. It was so phenomenal, I went back the next day and spent 70$ on noodles and egg rolls for my office. Everyone loved it. read more

Our local Thai was closed so we decided to try this place for takeout. When I paid I was surprised how expensive this was compared to our usual , and found on top of this there was a surcharge for paying with credit card rather than cash?....seriously ?....cash???? I have never been surcharged for using a credit card at any other take out or restaurant! Last but not least got home and found that the portions were quite small, probably about 1/2 the container was filled, compared to FULL at our local, so really poor value and "skimping" to save money on top of the surcharge....not a good approach. I live 1/4 mile away from Siam Fusion and have been going here for years. I've left positive comments in the past. I don't know what's going on, but the meat portions in any dish is just not there. I order House Pad Thai and Cashew chicken and their version of sweet and sour chicken. Very, Very minimal meat portions. I would say maybe 1/2 of a chicken tenderloin added. The meat is minimal, tiny tiny tiny. I'm so disappointed. I don't know what has changed but I'll drive 30 minutes or more to go to a different Thai restaurant. With so many dishes we order with a very noticeable lack of meat. Tiny 1/2 of dime size meat. We will go someplace else. I love the flavoring and the dishes. So sorry. I guess take your chances. But the dishes are NOT what they used to be. I'll go to Siam Spicy in Novi, a 35 minute drive before I go here again. read more

Why is your food so damn spicy though?? :) aside from having very little chicken in the peanut curry (had plenty in the other dishes I ordered however) and the peanut sauce for the satay being so much worse than I got before (please please bring back the old recipe or at least get the one from So Thai), this place is actually pretty awesome, very clean, quick service, awesome pad see eew, great soup, chicken satay was perfectly grilled, even had two selections of Thai bottled beer! Kudos. :) Place looks like it was filled with local, return customers, will definitely try again despite new ownership (have been many times before the switch) - but seriously, please better peanut sauce, peanut sauce is life. If you go here for lunch on a [non-holiday] weekday, enjoy yourself and forget all the other commentary here and elsewhere about slow service, poor waitstaff, etc. First of all, the food here is crazy good. I grew up in White Lake and for the better part of two decades, bemoaned the lack of anything other than burgers and Detroit-style (read: deep fried) Chinese within a good 30 min. drive. Then along came Siam Fusion, and it was like a beautiful Thai gift to my hometown. But unfortunately, it came with some negatives ... for several years running, the service during a busy day is enough to drive anyone bonkers. And several hours to wait for take out? Forget it. Ain't nobody got time for that, am I right? I'm just going to chalk it up to restauranteurs that have their cuisine on lockdown, and they don't really care about improving their speed and/or service. If you can handle that, relax and enjoy. You're in for a treat. If you can't, well, White Lake and environs have grown substantially since the '80s and '90s ... you can probably find somewhere else that will take your money ;) read more

I think I've gone from liking this place to loving it, so I'll give it a full five stars. The food is fantastic, and I'm not exactly a huge Thai fan. I tried a few dishes, and now stick to the Kow Pad Pak (#RN1) with beef, medium plus, add baby corn. (The baby corn was my daughter's idea.) I'd love to try it hot, but this dish seems to taste just perfect the way I order it. The service is always very good, too. Last Friday at dinner was the first time we've had to wait for a table, but I think this may become more frequent as the place picks up in popularity. White Lake is kind of sparse, and they're the best restaurant for miles. The only thing I can say bad is that their website completely sucks. I'll have to mention the next time I'm in there, because you can't read their menu in most browsers, and that may cost them some visitors and/or carryout business. read more

Came here a few nights ago with a friend, on her strong recommendation. I ordered the Pad See-Ew and she got the Drunken Noodles. When they arrived, the portions were probably a bit more than average and the food was outstanding. Mine was absurdly delicious (no spice for me - I got it on the side but it was so good without it I didn't bother XD), sweet and oh so yummy. The Drunken Noodles were also excellent, albeit a bit spicy for my taste as my friend had ordered them hotter. Each was $9.45 plus tip, which worked out to what you'd generally pay for good Thai food for two. We ended up with enough leftovers for another meal. If my funds were not limited I'd have gone back last night XD Sooo yummy. This place is easily located, as it is next to an enormous pet supplies store.
