Friendliest place in town with the best Pad Thai. Consistent spice level is also a huge plus.

Very good and very friendly service. I highly recommend! Fresh and very tasty! This was a great find for me

Best Thai food around! We order from here regularly and it's always delicious! The veggies are always fresh, not frozen, and the spice level is perfect. read more

5 weeks in a row I've called ~6:30pm on a Friday and they are out of hot & sour soup. What kind of Thai restaurant runs out of h&s soup EVER???!!! But 5 weeks in a row???!!! I told them if I call again and they are out again I'm going to hang up. read more

The food is excellent here and portions are good. I highly recommend this restaurant. Staff is friendly and family owned. and the soup ..... out of this world !! read more

This place is worth every star! I absolutely love their food. I recently moved back to Michigan from Brooklyn, and this restaurant has restored my faith in Thai cuisine here. Their chicken-filled rolls are like crack to me--I can literally make a meal out of two orders, and I'd still have room for some fried rice, minus tomatoes! read more

Ordered delivery and it was really not good. Flavor was not even bland but like bad at the same time. Everything we tried (3 different dishes) was really bad. read more

Was not my first choice for Thai but was glad as heck to stop in. Attentive waitress and knew what she was doing. Food was very good and the place was clean. We each had the Drunken Noodles with Chicken, medium plus on the spicy side and Pad See-Ew also the same way, both were exceptional. Big note here, while moderately busy we didn't have to wait and that is so important. Job well done read more

My first visit....Service was fast, courteous and the restaurant is very clean with light music in the background for ambiance. My Tom kha gai was warm and creamy and the drunken noodles with chicken was very tasty. I loved the veggies were still crisp with the noodles This was my first visit and I will definitely be back soon. Enjoyed my meal‼ I also ordered a to go order of two large soups for work it is convenient and close to home with parking in the front of the restaurant. read more

Their kitchen takes their last orders by 7:45pm on Sunday. The woman that answered the phone was pleasant. They ask for tracking info with a QR code. We ordered the 4 piece crab Rangoon, curry noodles with chicken, made it with their some peanut curry sauce, Thai hot and a gang masaman with chicken, with mixed veggies, no baby corn and medium plus spice too. Their crab Rangoon isn't good. I only ate the guts of one of mine. The wonton is super thick and quite dense and doughy. It's not light and crispy, the way I like and prefer my crab Rangoon. It was not carb worthy to me. My husband ate the remaining 3. I was done with their crab Rangoon. My gang masaman is sweet, spicy and good. Got some baby corn, that I didn't want or ask for at all. The potatoes are skin on and are cubed, not my favorite part of this dish much. The sauce is quite good. My dish was maybe a mild plus, it wasn't enough medium spicy to me. The peanut curry noodles was yummy, sauce was nice and spicy, Thai hot was still mild to my husband. He said the heat comes from the Thai chilies mostly. The waitress asked how our food was. I told her there was still baby corn in my masaman, she said sorry and that was it. Skip the crab Rangoon here, not the best execution. Their peanut curry noodles and gang masaman is good here. The crab Rangoon was about a 2 star. The peanut curry and the masaman was about a 3.5, since I didn't like the potatoes and got the baby corns I didn't want at all. You pay at the front counter. read more

This is my favorite place to get Thai carry out. My co-workers and I order from here at least twice a month. The curry noodles, drunken noodles, and pad Thai are delish. Their spring rolls are hands down the best in town. Online ordering is easy and the service is always great. read more

What a great addition to the Orion/Clarkston area! We were lacking authentic Thai food and here it is! The atmosphere is modern and the decor is minimal, but well thought out. This restaurant is clean with ample seating in a comfortable space. The waitstaff is attentive and friendly. We started our meal with Thai Iced Tea, complimentary soup, and Crab Rangoon. The iced tea was spot on! The soup was a sweet and sour egg drop combo that was just ok. The crab Rangoon was greasy and more chewy, than crispy. I ordered Pad Se'eu with chicken, mild plus. My husband ordered Pad Thai with chicken, medium plus. The food arrived about 10 minutes after we ordered! The brown sauce was super tasty. The spice level for my meal was more like medium. The Pad Thai was perfect. Both dishes lacked chicken... the portions were minimal. Same with the Pad Se'eu. I think there were 4 florets of broccoli and 3 pieces of chicken a top a large plate of noodles and sprouts. There overall cost was pretty affordable for thai. Our bill was under $40. Even with the lack of protein, the flavor was excellent! We will be back and hopefully it will be a five star experience! read more

Thai Fix - N3. Drunken Noodles on top and R2. Basil Fried Rice on bottom - Thai Near Me - Lake Orion, Michigan

Best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. I've tried 7-8 other places in metro Detroit and nothing is as good. The basil fried rice is a huge standout, it's phenomenal and full of flavor! Bring it home and top it with a fried egg like they serve it in Thailand! Only downside is they close early, and the filling in the crabmeat rangoons is totally pink... they still taste good though. read more

Just OK...I had the hot and sour soup that had a great tasting broth, but the chicken was rubbery and tasteless like it had been microwaved one too many times. My main course was Thai fried rice that I ordered medium hot. It was tasty and the chicken was good (I was a bit worried after the chicken in the soup was essentially inedible). I probably shoyld have gone down a spice level and the portion was quite large. I thought it was pretty pricy for Thai Food...especially having to pay extra for soup. I would not go out of my way to return here..much better options elsewhere.. Update: I may have my terminology incorrect..but it was soup and it was fried rice and it WAS Thai Fix and my comments remain the same. I even double checked my credit card record and I ate there on 5/27 in the late afternoon. The only other customers in there were 4 Oakland County Sheriffs read more

Best Thai in LO. Nothing special to eat in but the service is great. Everything is clean inside. I may opt for just take out. Bacon fried rice and green curry is a 10 read more

Baldwin road in Lake Orion is full of surprises. Road design more appropriate for a Spiro-graph than automobiles is your first surprise and your second third and forth. But through it all the business mix is becoming more upscale and interesting. Thai food is thin on the ground north of 59 so when I crawled up Baldwin I was drawn in by Thai Fix. It's hard to get a handle on the place being new, Covid still locking us down (ish) and I ate at a weird time, but the food was terrific, came out fast and was spiced just right for medium. I struck up a conversation with the only other diner and he concurred. Thai iced tea hit the spot to cool the hot. So brave the construction and give this place a try. This place might be out in the sticks, but for the nabe it's one of my top picks. So get in your car and hit the bricks and eat some great food at Thai Fix.....Go! read more

Best Thai in the area IMO. The spring rolls and sauce is . I will continue to return.

Excellent food, everything I've tried has very good. My favorite Thai restaurant in the area.

For a local Thai business this place is good. Living right around the corner means we get this carry out more often and it is always fantastic. Sometime you get a little attitude when you go in there to eat or pick up order which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 but we love supporting local businesses and the food is good!! read more

Extremely disappointed .We won't be ordering from here anymore. The dishes we ordered had virtually no meat whatsoever. One dish had 3 small strips of beef. The second dish was a chicken dish and my wife had to dig around just to find what little meat there was mostly noodles and 2 pieces of dried broccoli. This is why I insist on just cooking at home.Come on people! read more

I FINALLY found a great local Thai spot! Usually I like to post photos here of my meal, but Thai Fix is so great that I inhale my meal before I remember to grab a pic. My go-to is the Drunken Noodle with chicken or shrimp, and their spice level is perfect. I go for Mild which is enough to give a small kick, but not too hot that it will upset my stomach later in the day -- something I know is hard to find in Thai restaurants. I also love and collect the plastic containers my delivery comes in. read more

Highly highly recommend! We used to drive all the way to Waterford for thai but not anymore. The best Thai I've ever had! You can tell the ingredients are fresh. I had the panang and my husband the massaman and they were the best we've ever had! read more

This place is simply amazing. Very nice welcoming atmosphere and the food is very authentic. I'm a big fan of curry and this is the best curry have eaten in Oakland County. The chicken is very tender and the drunken noodles are to die for. I highly recommend this place. And by the way the prices are very reasonable read more

Was very disappointed in the gaeng gai (chicken curry) as it was the most watery curry Ive ever eaten. I have lived in Thailand, spent alot of time learning the culture and cuisine and Im sad to say, this is not authentic Thai food in the least. Curry is not supposed to be watery like a soup, nor should it have an oil sheen. Not sure if it was an off night but I wont return. Maybe their other dishes are better, but messing up a staple dish does not bode well for the other items on the menu. read more

The food was fantastic! I had Basil fried rice and a Thai iced tea. Both were excellent!

The drunken noodle is really good and so is the Thai iced coffee. The delivery person Andrew though... he left my food on the porch outside, which is something that only a person who received their tip in advance would do. Do better Andrew, do better. read more

The shrimp rolls were tasty and they were ready much faster than projected. The person at checkout was friendly and helpful. Great pricing. I will definitely be back! read more

Third customer in. I have been driving by every morning for the last three mo the waiting for them to open and they finally are! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The space is modern, clean, and bright. I personally like their menu because they have a good selection of noodles, stir fries, and curries, but the menu isn't overwhelmingly large. I ordered the Panama curry with "hot" spice level - the spice level was perfect, and the curry flavors were very well balanced. I'm very excited to come back and try some noodles, and to have this restaurant in my neighborhood! read more

Cute dining room with tables separated by pretty screens allow for extra privacy! Very friendly staff, great service. Had the chicken satay appetizer, unfortunately not our favorite the chicken had an off putting texture. The Thai iced tea is delicious sweet and refreshing. Pad Thai medium plus was perfect very large portion. Drunken noodles with tofu was good, but the tofu had a strange texture I would try this again with beef or chicken instead. read more

I grew up eating thai food at my friends restaurant so when I moved here from across the country, I had been missing it a ton. I had been to other thai places but none quite had the same taste so when Thai Fix opened up next to my house I was more than a little excited. I am happy to say they did not disappoint! The food was incredible. The Pad See-iew was flavorful and if you are a fan of extreme heat like me thai hot is what you're looking for! I love they use real thai chili and not crushed red pepper flakes like some other thai places. The Pad Ped is smokey and savory and really goes great on the fluffy white rice! Since my first time it has been a regular take out/dine-in place and I have had many of their menu items and they're all excellent! I couldn't suggest this place any more if you're tired of burgers and pizza and want to mix things up! read more

The food here is fantastic, carry out orders are always right, and the service is exceptional. We've eaten at most of the Thai places around here and this is, by far, our favorite. OH!!, a word to the wise, if you typically order your Thai hot, start with medium here...trust me. read more
