My daughter was looking for some pants. So we stopped by to look around. I headed for my favorite three sections, the cosmetic section, seasonings/food, and clearance. That's where it's at!! Unfortunately the cosmetic section wasn't giving as much as some other T J Maxxes in the area. There wasn't enough items in the department. But the seasoning department has some new flavors that caught my eye ... I love the Kinders seasoning blends. The clearance section had a decent selection as well. TJ Maxx is probably one of my favorite places to go. I have never been to the Red Mill location, so decided to give it a try when I was on this side of town. The store was clean, bright, and well organized! I can always count on TJ Maxx to have a great selection, whether I'm looking for clothes, home decor, or seasonal finds ... oh, and their candles are the best. The clearance racks are well stocked and neatly arranged, a the beauty section is great! They carry name-brand skincare, makeup, and hair products at really affordable prices. One of my favorite parts of this location is how calm it felt even when it was busy. There's plenty of parking, and the checkout lines moved quickly. The staff were friendly and attentive without being pushy, which made the experience even better. I overheard one employee helping a customer find a specific item and she went above and beyond to check the back for it. It's nice to see that level of service still exists. The fitting rooms were also clean and spacious, which is always a plus. I left with a couple of cute tops, a new candle (of course), and a gift for a friend ... all for under $50! I was really impressed with this TJ Maxx and will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. read more

I'm a fan of the chain, but honestly they can be different on goods and service. The Redmill TJ Max is far from where I reside, maybe I've been here once. The strip is very nice with lots of parking and clean lot. I was with my daughter dorm shopping for bed sheets and unfortunately the selection was not great. It's a smaller area than others, but keep in mind it's not a combo TJ Max and Home Goods. The store was clean and organized, so big pluses for me. I ended up not purchasing anything. A 3.5 seems to fit them best. Rounding down with lower than expected inventory of bedding. I would absolutely return. read more

I went to TJ Maxx over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed all of the Fall and Halloween Decor they displayed. I frequent TJ Maxx all throughout the year and have for years and this is the first year that I've seen so much Fall Decor, I absolutely loved it. As Summer is ending, it's time to switch out my home decor so all of the items they displayed had me wanting to buy the whole store. Also, I normally go to TJ Maxx for candles so it was fun smelling all of the different apple, spice and pumpkin scents, it really put me in the Fall mood. I even loved all of the coffee mugs they had, the "Hello Fall" was my favorite. Head on over to TJ Maxx for all of your Fall and Halloween decor, they practically have everything. :) read more

Good location at Red Mill Commons around plenty of other stores - Pier 1, Michael's, Bath and Body Works, etc. It's clean inside and well-stocked with the usual items you'd expect. They have plenty of seasonal goods for decor and holidays if you're looking for something seasonally specific. Plenty of parking and clean restrooms. read more

On Friday, August 30, when looking at pocketbooks, the alarm on the pocketbooks went off. The alarm was so loud that it really scared me. The associate came over to turn off the alarm. She was having trouble getting the alarm turned off so I held back the other pocketbooks nearby to help her. She turned to me and said "well, you shouldn't pull the pocketbooks!" , in a a very rude manner. I had planned to buy a pocketbook at that location, however, I went elsewhere. Lost a sale. This has got to be one of the better TJ Maxx around the 757 area. All the other ones I've been to have outdated/poor/generic clothes. I came here one day to look for some yoga/race apparel. As I looked through their leggings and long sleeves, I was pleasantly blown away on how many great brands they carried. Just Head, Kyodan, 90 Degree, Reebok, Vogo, New Balance, Nike, Adidas, RBX. They had it all! I went into the dressing with 20 different things to try. I was stoked cause I finally found stuff my size. I'm 5'1 and petite and it's always frustrating when they don't carry much XS or S. But nope, they had what I was looking for and more. Even their sale/clearance rack is pretty decent. The inside is clean, organized, and the staff here is upbeat and friendly. Dressing rooms are well lit and clean. I will definitely be back on the hunt for working out gear. read more

This TJ Maxx is like any other average TJ Maxx (product wise.) "If you see it and you like it/want it, buy it now, because it definitely won't be there tomorrow." It's always clean and there are always items on clearance. The little "wrap around" filled with more products before you get to the registers = a TRAP! Came to this TJ Max just to look. The garbage can outside was over full and falling out with trash. Not a good sign. The selection on items was plentiful. The clothes and shoe section were orderly. The health and beauty however was not. Especially the clearance section. The women's bathroom was in disarray with garbage on the floor. One toilet was out of order and the toilets were dirty. I love that they are two stores in one. They have great selections @ great prices. The inventory is always revolving, so it's a new store every time you come in. They store receives new shipments on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. So stop by one of those days for the best pick of the litter. I shop here because it has tons of stuff you would find in expensive ass stores for wicked cheap and paying full price when you don't have to is stupid. For example, yesterday I picked up a Le Creuset roaster for $15 that you would normally find at William Sonoma for $250. I also got 3 Yankee Candles for $7 a piece, which would normally be $25 and a Michael Kors wallet for $10 which should have been $100. Its almost amusing coming in here and comparing prices. Nothing is ever the same, if you see something once and want it, don't hesitate, because you probably wont find it again unless you are lucky. It can be hit or miss, but if you're into getting brand new shit for retardedly cheap prices, this is the spot. You just never know when you'll strike gold. read more

Some of the products I have previously bought from this location where stained and/or damaged and were mixed in with the regularly priced items. I'll admit I have found some pretty good deals here, the one I'm most proud of is finding Nike Pros for $17 when they are retailed at the time for roughly $40, however the store can be unorganized and often overwhelming especially when there is a general item of clothing you would like to buy. I do appreciate how you can find practically any item that you could ever want in one trip at a reasonable price. However, recently I haven't seen some of my favorite employees around which is a disappointment since I believe they are a true asset to the establishment. read more

Rude cashier, Breanne, who lacks basic troubleshooting and customer service skills. I made a return for an item (tags attached with receipt and in original condition). I was an old Nordstrom employee - our motto is that the customer and their experience is the life source of our business. What an embarrassment. I felt as if I was in the wrong or a criminal for wanting to return an item. This employee acted so annoyed and burdened to actually do her job. Totally unpleasant experience. read more

Normally this TJ MAXX is a good place to shop with a great selection. I would recommend some attention be spent on customer service though. The other week my wife and I were called to a closed check-out station by mistake and confused all those standing behind the counter. Other than that one mishap - no complaints. read more
