Wish I could rate this place higher since I wanted to believe the hype that my friend was drumming up about this place. I was told it has great prices and good quality selection of goods. Unfortunately, as soon as I walked into this store, it was apparent that it was like a thrift store but with surplus items. There is not a lot of organization to how items are grouped or located. There are no aisle signs, you have to walk the entire store to know what items they carry... or not! The quality of packed food items are not like Dollar stores. They seem expired or have been tossed so much that the packaging has faded. Checkout was dismal. If you've ever been to Ollies you already know its a bargain store. So its stuff everywhere. It'll never really be clean in there. But if you like finding good deals like me, its just a big scavenger hunt. They have good deals on books, household items, cleaning supplies, and foods i don't see often in regular stores. My favorite aisles are the food aisles, books, and the as seen on tv sections. You never know what your going to find. If you find something you really like, buy it then because they don't always have the same items. Since they're a bargain store you gotta get it before its gone. If you go to the back they also carry rugs, bedding, mattresses and other nice things. I love shopping here but feel the need to rush because its hot in there. I thought i was gonna pass out. So i kept it real cute and got up outta there. The line was redonculous!! We stood slowly moving for like 10 minutes before they opened another line. There was also an overwhelming funky smell like sour eggs and gym shoes lingering in the back. Something may have spilled or went bad, but it was whooo whooo whooo stinky!! Its uncomfortable being in there but i know I'll be going back from time to time. Lol. You'll find all the things you never even knew you needed!! Lol. This location was recently rearranged. Great deals, I always grab my favorite bulk k-cup coffee from here! The staff is friendly, and the store is stocked with a variety of items to shop. I would have gave them 5 starts but the air conditioning was not working and it's 100 outside! read more

One word to describe this location: Sad. This was my first time visiting Ollie's with above average expectations and that was my first problem. As you walk into this store you do see an abundant amount of items but upon further examination, you realize that all the items are there because NO ONE wanted them. It seemed as if all the items being sold were VERY outdated (books, toys etc.) and the price did not reflect that. The place itself was dark and very disorganized. I would compare it to a huge Goodwill but doesn't smell as bad hence 2 stars. I just wasn't very impressed. If your looking for a discount store look into Dollar Tree or Burlington. They are far better than here. Maybe it was just the location that didn't do it for me so I will give the Virginia Beach location a try when I'm in the area. But as far as this location? Stay Away! Or if you still wanted to give this location a try, set your expectations very, very low. read more

Very disorganized, and barely any help or staff. Two people at the register and none on the floor for assistance. They definitely need extra staff. Prices are reasonable and they do have deals hence why people shop here. read more

Saturday late afternoon. I was at another store in the shopping center and saw Ollie's across the lot. I've been to other Ollies before but this location was huge, 1.5-2 times the size of my usual location. They carry small appliances, office furniture/items, food, books, kitchen utensils/cookware/appliances, lawn items, clothes, toys decorations etc. I like the kitchen and book sections best! Name brand cookware at a fraction of the price. I do not personally purchase any electronics at Ollies. read more

This is an easy review "good stuff cheap". They specialize in one offs. Discontinued items etc etc. you can get a great bargain. My advice would be to check the flyers for the items that you want and adjust your shop and patterns at the cording Lee Ollies outlet is a fantastic brand you can get great bargains however if you're looking at a shop in experience like William Sonoma go to another place good stuff cheap. read more

The people who work here absolutely hate their jobs. Don't go in here expecting quality customer service. We go here all the time to find cheap stuff. Be mindful of what you are purchasing and look at any kind of expiration dates if it's food. The inside of the store is always extremely unorganized, messy, and dirty. read more

Great bargains for a low price. This store is really big, somewhat disorganized, and not very clean. The great prices more than make it for the store appearance. Just recently discovered Ollies. They have items you can't get anywhere else and lots of great deals!!! Although the store is not classy, the employees definitely are. One cashier at the Norfolk location, John, is super friendly. He takes the time to pack up your items just right and treats your bargains like high priced items. He always has something nice to say and seems genuinely happy to be at work. read more

Ollies is a discount superstore that literally has everything. There's tons of toys, books, software, rugs, hair dye--everything. This warehouse style store of course offers everything at bargain basement prices. What you save in price, you often sacrifice in quality and convenience. Ollies is a sprawling warehouse packed full with so much stuff that it may take a while to sift through the discounts to find the real deals. Lots of the products here are great, but for some it's not hard to understand why the prices are so low. read more

The store is dark and really unorganized. I had a hard time finding the 2 things I came for. Nothing like the VA Beach location. Ollie's a fantastic place to shop and look for anything that you thought you may never find in any other store. Prices are low because Ollie's passes the savings to the consumer.
