Also found a puzzle that was missing a price tag but the cashier was kind enough to locate a different puzzle and give me that same price. I've been to stores where if it doesn't have a price tag they don't let you buy it so I really appreciated that. As I was coming in, there were three employees helping load up a truck full with rugs which is above and beyond what I would have expected. They have home delivery options, which make shopping for larger furniture, easily accessible. They also have some unique pieces that I haven't seen anywhere else. Will definitely be returning soon!

Then you lay on a bed that calibrates to your body to pick the "right" mattresses for you. The young man led me to a mattress to try out, which of course felt like a dream. I only wanted a twin xl, and he quoted a price of $3840. I could see this was not going to be my preferred method of picking out a mattress. I asked if I could just look around on my own and try a few in my price range. He said I'm sorry we don't allow that because you will probably get frustrated and will walk out without a mattress. I do NOT fault him for the policy, he didn't write it. I felt bad when I thanked him and left the store. I went there to try out some mattresses and if I found one I liked I was going to purchase it. This nice young man lost a sale because of a ridiculous policy he had no control over.

I spent most of my time looking through the albums, which included all genres. I've found that vintage stores have the best variety of records. The prices ranged from less than $20 to some that were almost $90. After searching for a while, I found a Gap Band album from 1983, which I couldn't wait to get home and listen to. I strolled through each aisle because I was very intrigued with all of the unique items. There was an area with pickled vegetables and canned goods so I grabbed some pickled okra and corn salsa as well. Right when I thought there wasn't more to see, I noticed a back area that included beautiful furniture, tables, paintings and other home accessories. I even saw a church pew lol! Overall, this place is a vintage paradise. You can easily spend hours in this store. I was told that the hours for having clothes reviewed were 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., so I rushed to…read morearrive before closing and got there at approximately 2:50 p.m. When I arrived, the counter clerk indicated that they were closing early. There was no prior indication that the review hours had changed, and I explained that I had rushed to get there based on the hours I had been given. The clerk agreed to allow me to leave my items and briefly explained the process. When I asked her to repeat the explanation, I realized that leaving the clothes would automatically indicate that I accepted their offer. I was not comfortable with that, so I asked to wait instead, which I was allowed to do. My clothes were then piled together, and I was offered $56 for approximately $400 worth of clothing. I asked how many items they intended to keep and was told nine. I decided to decline the offer and thanked the clerk for her time. At that point, she picked up the clothes I had carefully folded and shoved them back into the bag. When I later counted the items, there were actually 13--not nine. The entire experience left me feeling that the process could have been handled much more professionally and transparently. Clear communication about the hours, a straightforward explanation of the process, accurate information about the number of items being accepted, and respectful handling of customers' belongings would have made a significant difference. I understand that a business is not obligated to make an offer that a customer considers satisfactory, but I do expect honesty, transparency, and professionalism throughout the process.
