I absolutely love vintage stores so when VA Vintage opened nearby, I couldn't wait to stop in. The store was huge and packed with an array of different items, such as albums, collectibles, home decor, snacks, clothes, candles, furniture, jewelry, etc. You name it, they had it lol. I spent most of my time looking through the albums, which included all genres. I've found that vintage stores have the best variety of records. The prices ranged from less than $20 to some that were almost $90. After searching for a while, I found a Gap Band album from 1983, which I couldn't wait to get home and listen to. I strolled through each aisle because I was very intrigued with all of the unique items. There was an area with pickled vegetables and canned goods so I grabbed some pickled okra and corn salsa as well. Right when I thought there wasn't more to see, I noticed a back area that included beautiful furniture, tables, paintings and other home accessories. I even saw a church pew lol! Overall, this place is a vintage paradise. You can easily spend hours in this store. The staff were very pleasant and I even signed up for their Loyalty Program, where you can earn points for every dollar you spend! I will definitely be returning soon! read more

The place rocks!! if you want a unique gift or to just not decorate your house like a cookie cutter big box store check out a place like this one. This is in a huge location that used to actually have a big box store due to that you'll find ample parking and a very Extensive amount of products available. I really enjoyed seeing so many different types of antiques and handmade goods that really highlighted peoples different skills, collecting sensibilities, and special interest. There was everything from handmade bags to vintage quilts, all of the standard antique mall prints and housewares that you would expect alongside vintage Pokémon, and other collectibles that are nostalgic for every generation. They have shopping carts and knowledgeable staff and a lot of things to see. We are comfortable shoes and enjoy your time. They also have a back room with furniture if that's something you were interested in. read more

What a great vintage shop!! It's like stepping back in time! So many great pieces from the '60s, '70s, '80s, etc!! Very unique pieces of furniture, clothing, and more! I could have spent hours here all day but they kindly told me they were closing for the evening!!I will have to return and browse more!! I snagged a super cute tee for my niece!! Looking for an elevated vintage store that has so many styles and selection to choose from this is the one for you . This was a new find for me I saw a post of this spot on TikTok and had to see it for myself this the store to find nostalgic items, collectible,clothing,figurines and more this was definitely a hidden gem when it comes to thrift stores it had ton of sections all around the store. Walking in your surroundings with all sorts of different items but what I did like that they sort it out based on what was giving to them versus who they have as people who have there own business who want to sell there unique pieces and have it on display and most of them have there social media tag them and I love that. Found a couple of things myself and definitely will back for more things it was a lot to go through in one day but the store is well organized and neat with everything where you have a section for everyone. And the amount of items you can find at a good affordable prices with unique items and for my ladies that love designer bags they do have preowned luxury bags. Might come back and see what selection they have and get one. This place is definitely a hidden gem for those that want a unique piece or to find new items that you might want to start wearing or evening make a collection. I saw a tiktok for VA Vintage and had to go check it out. I didn't know it existed! From the moment we walked in, I was in heaven. I had 2 goals walking in, a bowl for my bookshelves and costume jewelry for my daughter's cosplay and boy did I score! The my daughter amazing jewelry for a great price almost immediately. It was PERFECT for her cosplay. I found a gorgeous carnival glass bowl that goes with my shelves like it was made for them. I love that this is a true vintage store were most things are classic and not redone furniture or cheap boutique items. I hope it stays that way! And the vintage clothes?????? I wish I the time to really look at everything. When we were checking out, the staff was so polite and attentive. Definitely check it out and we will be back! This store is located on the old Bog Lots store and is filled with large and small nooth stalls of vintage and antique items that are made from makers and collectors alike. For guys there are a plenty of items from toys, gear, and clothing to choose from. There are some booths being built while I visited, but all of the process are reasonable with a few that are on the high range. The staff at the register were very friendly and they have a "holds" table on both sides of the checkout counter. You can easily spend 2 hours in there and is definitely worth a hangout to view the rotation of stock items or enjoy the memories of yesteryear. Made it a must stop! read more

My girlfriend and I visited this store a couple weeks ago while we were in the area looking for vintage pieces, specifically vintage T-shirts. Unfortunately, our experience was very uncomfortable from the moment we walked in. When we entered, no one greeted us or explained how the store was set up. We actually had to approach an employee just to get a basic understanding of where to find vintage tees. After being directed to a section, my girlfriend and I split up to browse. While shopping, I noticed that every time I moved to a different rack or section, an employee would immediately follow behind me -- without speaking or offering help. The same thing happened to my girlfriend -- she was even followed toward the bathroom area. It felt less like customer service and more like we were being watched. To make matters worse, as we were leaving (without finding anything to buy), there was an employee positioned near the door. When we walked out, she stepped in front of us and said something over the walkie-talkie, which made the situation feel even more accusatory and uncomfortable. Overall, it was a very negative experience. We came in excited to shop and support the store but left feeling unwelcome and profiled. Because of this, I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend spending money here. read more

I stopped into VA Vintage the other day for the first time, and WOW--what an amazing experience! The store was packed with incredible finds, and I swear every corner had something unique and perfect for someone on my Christmas list. I ended up getting gifts for all my family members and a few friends in one trip! As an avid collector of Fiestaware, I was especially excited to find a whole section dedicated to it -- so many great pieces in one place! I also found some amazing deals and truly unique items you just don't come across every day. They even have this wonderful furniture section in the way back. It does take a few hours to go through, they even have snacks and drinks and a place to sit if you need to take a rest, but it's absolutely worth it--so many great pieces and hidden treasures if you take your time. The staff is friendly, laid-back, and fun to chat with--they joke around, make you feel welcome, and create such a comfortable, at-home kind of vibe throughout the store. Checkout is pretty quick, and they packed all my glassware professionally-smooth experience! Thank you!!! Honestly, VA Vintage should be a hotspot on the list of places to visit in Virginia Beach--especially for tourists looking for something fun, unique, and full of character. I'm already planning to take all my friends and family here whenever they come to visit me. This place is officially my new go-to for gifts, treasure hunting, and all things vintage. Went here on a rainy Sunday before heading to Bay Local next door. I had never been to this store and living in Newport News I have my usual spots I go to for consignment and antiques. I was truly impressed with the selection they had. Lots of true vintage clothing sellers- there's a really good one all the way in the back of the store. Lots of fun sellers there with not too much repetition of types of items and not too many craft makers. I am not a huge fan of all the places where there is an overwhelming amount of resin and wooden craft things. Good in small does but when I go antique shopping I want to see more of that. I recommend checking this place out we found some great deals this day. The staff were super friendly too, Sundays might be their busy day so try to time your checkout accordingly. read more

Ignore the negatives-this is a great place to shop! There is an awesome variety-nearly all their booths are full of really neat vintage finds as well as original/locally made items.
