I am 86 years old retired and had to buy a new lawn mower, I have…read more shopped there in the past and have invested quite a few dollars over the last couple of years. The mower was a cub cadet and is less than a year old. I also purchased a set of mulching blades for the lawn tractor through tractor supply. Apparently I was sold the wrong style blades which stripped the spindle assy causing the blade assembly to fly of the deck and get lost in my yard. I eventually found the blade and nut but dealing with Cub Cadet and Tractor Supply was aggravating and completely useless. Tractor supply wanted nothing to do with the issue and gave me a couple of phone numbers to call to try to get warranty. Both phone numbers were called repeatedly, only to be put on hold for over 1/2 hour at which point I hung up. After researching new spindle assy's and blades it appears the mower came with the wrong fitting blades and then I was given an even wronger set of mulching blades with caused the spindle to strip. NO ONE was interested in helping me with this, service was HORRIBLE from both Tractor supply and Cub cadet. I had to order and purchase new spindle assy's and blades on my own and pay for them even tho tractor was still under warranty. will not puchase even a nut or bolt from tractor supply again!

Their home and accessory department was also very well stocked and they have a fairly large selection of toys and fun gadget things to buy for the Holidays. The store was not too busy when we were there on a weekday morning. The associates very busy organizing stuff on the shelves and they seemed very friendly.

Primark is an Irish retailer of affordable fashion for men, women and children. Other locations also carry home items, but not the Danbury location. They are very popular across the British Isles as well as several countries across Europe. The Primark in Danbury is part of the Danbury Fair Mall, the good news is you can access it as its own store, no need to go through the mall. This store is massive, there were so many shoes when we first walked in. There's hair accessories, purses and other small knickknacks. The clothes aren't super organized. The hangers are marked with various sizes, but they are actually all random sizes hung on random hangers. This was everywhere, same with the shoes. I am a bit selective when it comes to clothes shopping, I prefer my items to be mostly cotton. Cotton items were difficult to find or non existent at Primark. We spent two hours here and all I found were two items. Keeping in mind that they are a fast fashion retailer, the quality isn't always there. Loose strings, uneven stitching, unavailable sizes are all a part of the gamble. The wait to access a fitting room was surprisingly fast and efficient. The line to check out was long but moved fast, due to several open registers. I'm glad I experienced Primark, while they aren't for me, they might be for you. Marshalls, Target and Amazon are more accessible for me.

But since I needed to make a Costco run (and I'd mentally prepared myself for it) I decided to visit the east side Kohl's off of Federal Road. After this one-time experience , I think I'll stick with the one in Brewster. The outside of the store is kind of messy and looks like it's not maintained....it could literally be abandoned and you wouldn't tell the difference. You walk in and it's a standard Kohl's, only more tired and flatter. I know that may be hard to picture but when you go to the Brewster Kohl's and walk in, there's always a bright, seasonal display that is very welcoming and puts you in the mood to shop. Here, it was just a mess of carts haphazardly sitting around in the entry and some luggage that I wasn't sure was on display or was just waiting to be stocked. The selection was okay and they had stock, but there were a few areas that it looked like stocking had started but then been abandoned halfway through. Like boxes and carts and ladders just sitting in aisles and between racks. Not a big deal and maybe they're gearing up for back to school but just a little messy. What was the least appealing thing about this place is how long it takes to check out. We were the second people in line and just wanted to purchase one pair of swim trunks. It took a long time and there were no self service options such as they have at Brewster. Some dude had a complex return apparently so it took three cashiers several minutes to resolve that while the line kept growing. Then when we got to the cashier, he seemed really burnt out, which I can get and I empathize with. So a self-service option would have been quicker and a better experience. Anyway, the key takeaway from this review is that if you're in the greater Danbury metro area, take a ride on 84 West to Brewster and check out the Kohl's near the Southeast train station.

Lots of actual designer labels here, even some YSL and Gucci bags behind glass. If you hit it right, you can get designer dresses marked down from hundreds of dollars for just $90 or so if you're shopping toward the end of the season. On my most recent trip here I walked out with $4 jean shorts, a $12 top, two pairs of casual shorts that came in a set for $6, and a two piece outfit for $29. Finding these items, especially on clearance, is a bit of a dig. It's decently well organized, but the clearance section is definitely a bit of the wild, wild west. Lots of things in this store are the very last one, so if you see something you love but need a different size you're probably out of luck. Definitely worth a stop in if you're in the area.

I've been going to TJ Maxx, Marshall's & home goods since forever and always wondered what Sierra was like. There were never any close enough to me but I'm always in CT now and was glad I found this one. If you've never been, they carry a lot of hiking, gym, & outdoor gear but for Marshall's prices. They are very reasonable and also have the best pet section! Tons of reasonable toys and supplies for your fur baby. If you're planning a camping, hiking or outdoorsy trip, this should be your first stop- they have everything and more that you'll need!
