I've been here a few times. Each time, the checkout line is wrapped around and very, very slow. Also, trying to try on their bras is impossible. It's very frustrating to have all of these plastic pieces stuck in them to keep them on the hanger & not on your body. I didn't want to pull them apart, so I couldn't try them on. Outside of this, the shopping experience here is pretty good. The store is pretty organized and tidy. They have good buys and lots of cool things. There's something for everyone here. Anything you could probably want for the home, beauty, or dressing/footwear is there for you. There's plenty of parking & the staff (the ones who actually speak) are friendly. Recently set my payment for autodraft and it did it twice in a row for $133.48 each time. When I called to have it corrected they basically want me to jump through hoops to get my money back. I had heard through conversation with friends that they preferred this TJ Maxx over the location in Garner so I made a trip here. The store is much cleaner and more organized that the Garner location, however I do feel that they have less merchandise. The staff is very friendly and they work hard to clean carts and keep things sanitized. The store has even installed barriers to keep guests distanced while at the register. The only reason I gave 4 stars vs 5 is because the cashiers were not as attentive as I'd have liked. There were only 2 registers open at the time and only 1 cashier was steadily calling up guests. After 3 guests had come and gone in front on me, the other cashier called up myself. Not really a huge deal because I would assume they are going to staff the store with more cashiers the closer we get to the holiday season. read more

I love shopping for almost everything at TJ Maxx from work outfits, nice purses, various brand lotions, to cute stationery. I like how nice branded items are sold at discounted price. Good products for less money. You can't beat that! One product that I stock up is Batiste dry shampoo. It's pricey when you try to buy it at a drug store or Wal Mart, but at TJ Maxx, you can get it for half to 2/3 or the regular price. If you come at the right time, you can get the extra small kinds for travels or get the extra large kinds for keeping them at home. Of course, I have both! This is an average TJ Maxx. Some locations have higher-end products, and some have cheap products. This location has many cute things at the right price. It's always filled with something I want to buy, so I always ended up coming to TJ Maxx whenever I'm free :) read more

I love this tjmaxx the employees here are always so friendly. Today I tried on a super cute jumpsuit but I noticed after trying it on it had a hole, I was bummed but told the fitting room attendant that it was damaged and the last one I could I find. she tracked me down as I was about to get in line and told me someone just returned my exact size in the jump suit! I was so happy, I just wanted to say again to the lady working the fitting room ( sorry I didn't get your name) thank you so much I really appreciate you going out of your way to help me! you truly made my day. read more

Horrible location they close down the dressing rooms before 9:30 how is anyone supposed to buy clothes if you don't know how it's going to fit you because the ladies want to turn off the lights and leave right away. They should at least make a note put on the front of the store to let people know when the fitting rooms are closed so they don't go in there after work and waste their looking for something to just end up not getting anything. Came in to the store tonight and had a horrible experience. I understand coming in before closing can be a bit frustrating .... But your "open" hours are your open hours I was standing by the skincare section right next to the women's dressing room.... waiting for the party I came with to finish shopping. One of the ladies working came up right behind me very close and was just standing there not saying anything... so I may have given a confused look and walked away as I felt very uncomfortable... She than said to her colleague ... "she must have something wrong with her" Highly unprofessional. Rude and disgusting talking about clientele. Now I understand reviews as I am a business owner myself.... This is not an overview of the entire store but maybe a suggestion for the store manager to speak with their employees about appropriate employee - clientele behavior. read more

I just noticed the poor reviews and felt I needed to balance it out a bit! We love TJ Maxx and shop here often. I actually feel like this store is always well stocked especially in comparison to Ross in the same shopping center. I haven't often needed an associate's help while shopping so I can't speak to that, but the cashiers have always been friendly and efficient. During the holidays the line can get really long though. The store always seems clean and they have someone cleaning shopping carts when you come in. Always a great shopping experience for my family! read more

How much do I love TJMaxx? Let me count the ways. I've been a big fan of this store for years. No, it is not the most organized store in some ways. You have to really search and dedicate a chunk of time to exploring the store but if you do that, you will be rewarded. The clothing selection is decent but you have to go back often as they add new items all the time. I've found shirts and dresses that I get a ton of compliments on at TJMaxx. The housewares are also pretty good. I get a lot of bakeware and kitchen gadgets from the Maxx. I recently purchased the best pillows in the world from there. My neck thanks me on a nightly basis. It's also a great place for gifts. Lots of candles, knick knacks and stuff. Again, go back a few times before you decide its a bust. Things change weekly at this store. read more

Love TJ Maxx!!! Great prices and they are constantly getting new styles and items. I was just there today and I desperatly needed underwear. I didn't want to spend 50$ for three pairs of underwear at Victoria Secret. I came in here and ended up buying 25 pairs of super cute underwear and only spent 30$. SCORE!! Came in to do a lot of shopping. Store wasn't busy the whole time I was there. Got to the dressing room with 30+ items and the woman just stared at me from behind the fitting room counter when I was picking all my clothes up then I put them on the edge of my cart for her to count them easily, she waited until I was done rolled her eyes and let out a loud tired sigh and then came from behind the counter to count them. Went in to try things on and the woman was talking about how they hope they get out of work on time and customers don't stay late and how she needs her break.(it was 7:30 pm on Monday lol) I knew when the other girl left because then two people kept gossiping about personal things. When I came out there was someone else behind the counter, cool maybe they are nice, and I brought out the 20 items I was going to get & they exclaimed they would have to count them. I said that's fine I'm going to put them along the cart so it will be easy and while I was doing this they continued their conversation with someone else. Once I was done the sales associate came to count them and asked me where the rest of the clothes were. I told them in here and went to the dressing room, & the sales associate stayed behind the desk and kept talking with the other person expecting me to bring out the other clothes. I waited as she kept talking to come count the clothes so I then told her again they were in the fitting room (on the hangers, three weren't) and she rolled her eyes and with the sigh of extreme annoyance and stomped to the fitting room and then told me okay you can go. Although two employees were already super rude I still wanted to enjoy the clothes! I found some good pieces there and continued to the register where there was two employees one manager and one cashier and the manager was just chilling behind the counter. While the cashier was ringing people up , they weren't busy I was next in line. When I started putting my clothes up on the counter I was taking the hangers off to help the cashier go faster but she wanted to take extra care to go slow. Anyways someone said something on their ear pieces and they both looked up at me and started laughing and then the employee from the fitting room came to the register staring me down as if I offended them. And the manager asked them to take the next person in line , when my total got to around 350 & still going the manager asked if I wanted to sign up for a credit card & when I said no she rolled her eyes and walked away. I stayed extra nice the whole time my friend was amazed at how rude everyone was & made me write a review for the terrible treatment for no reason. -another retail worker maybe they need more training at this store the moral seems very low and employees so unhappy they treat customers poorly.
