I've not been here in a year or so, but decided to visit yesterday... I used to go here at least once every other month. To say the least.. I was shocked. We got to the shoe section and decided to leave. This place is not what it used to be. It gave me dystopian ghetto vibes. The overhead announcements were being said in spanish ONLY. Security was looming. Lots of cheap obviously knock-off goods. I'll pass. read more

I was standing in line for an hour trying to buy home goods. There was only one individual on the register the entire time I was waiting. Both staff members went on break while the cashiers line grew longer and longer. At no point did anyone come to help the cashier.. When the manager was asked by several customers if anyone was going to help the member they stated "no they are too busy." The line wrapped around and out to the clothing section. I do not recommend this Ross at all. This was terrible. I am never coming back. This rose either needs more assistance or to be shut down. read more

This store is a garbage dump, everything is disorganized and half of the merchandise is open or on the floor. I haven't been able to find a single employee to assist me in finding the other pair of a shoe i liked. The only employees that I couId see are busy with the ridiculously long line. Seriously it's a mess I have been in cleaner thrift stores or gas stations honestly. Virtually unshoppable. read more

IMO all Ross stores are a hit or miss. Since covid it seems they have been a bit more organized and clean. I understand customers contribute to a lot of the misplacing of items or merch on the floors etc but it's always good to shop in a clean store that doesn't look cluttered. The last few trips were a hit for me. This last quick trip resulted in my purchase of some really nice and OMG soft throw pillows ($18 for two), Juicy Couture disinfectant wipes ($1.99), Mickey Mouse hand sanitizer (.99) and some face shields for the youngest ($1.49). The youngest hated the face shields bc he said they were too tight on his head, but for less than $2 I don't feel like I wasted money. So if you need some sanitizer or wipes check here because they have plenty and they're marked down tremendously. read more

This store is trash. The African American lady with the long nails and locs is extremely rude. Her and another worker there got into it with each other in front of a line of customers. After she is speaking with customers about how other customers complain about how bad the line is but then complain that SHE is too fast and pushy, again all of this in front of customers. The lady needs training on how to be more professional, it will never happen because I'm sure the managers condone it (as her and a manager sit in the front of the store talking about the earlier incident. I can only hope someone higher up can see this to understand you are as strong as your weakest link. read more

So I came into this store, not paying attention to the sign outside. I actually thought I was walking into tj maxx. I immediately thought the store looked different as it had been almost a year since I'd visited. The employees were very nice and the prices are more than reasonable. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is that the store feels empty. I actually looked around the store to see if they had "going out of business" or similar signs. I didnt see any. The housewares area is bare, along with the kids section seemed light. In fact, every department was light except clothing. I left purchasing just a suit case for my daughter. I will say that competition must be rough bc I went to the tj maxx immediately after(once I realized I was in the wrong store) and the stores were night and day. read more

I absolutely love going to purchase things at this store. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the clothing has been very good. I have purchased many things for sneakers, clothing, household items, purses, baby toys and books and I have been extremely satisfied with everything. read more

I found a calvin klein dress here, fully intact ,clean, and in my size! That never happens at the Ross locations in Tampa. My sister shops at this Ross frequently and finds me great Calvin's, sometimes even on clearance. Praise Baby Jesus. The line was outrageous and the people of NC don't seem to be in much of a hurry. read more

It's Christmas time at Ross! Fully stocked and ready to shop. I love the Garner location with helpful cashiers and welcoming sales associates. The management greets me while I shop and they all seem genuinely happy to be there. The deals are great, name brands for clearance prices all the time! It's easy to shop now that they updated a few things and so much cleaner than some of the other Ross's. Thank you Garner Ross, I will be back! read more

I really enjoy shopping at Ross. I always find great items, I just wish some items were updated more regularly. I love the home section. But right now for Christmas customers are so inconsistent and inconsiderate and just throw merchandise around like confetti and there are mountains of crap in the men/womens sections. It hard to navigate sometimes. Also, the bathrooms could use some attention, otherwise, the associates are phenomenal and everyone is so friendly. Covid has to be hard for them. read more

The store is normally always a mess and they need more cashiers to check out customers here. NO one has time to stand in line for so long because only one lane is open. If you come on a good day, you will definitely find something that you like for a great deal here though. read more

Since I was in the area, ventured into the Ross quickly. I was looking for a new car charger and the security guard immediately pointed me in the right direction. Unfortunately, they did not have what I was looking for. I did walk through the store and it was stocked well and seemingly organized. It was pretty busy too. They don't have regularly updated inventory and they don't get good product like others do in Raleigh. Several weeks will go by or months and they will have the same items there previously or nothing. Not clean either. Not enough cashiers. read more

Just moved into area. Never went to a Ross store before. I was pleasantly surprised to find so many things reasonably priced.
