Outside of the filthy, smelly women's restroom, I enjoyed my Target run. If you seen one Target, you've seen them all. I came to get a few things for a trip I was taking. Their luggage was BEYOND expensive, so I suggest you check out a different department store if you want to save some money. The store was organized & it was easy to find what I came for and many things that I didn't. Lol. The staff wasn't friendly but wasn't rude either. They were just there waiting for the time they left for the day, I guess. I was in and out in record time. I would recommend this location. read more

The best way to see how a place handles its customers is to try to shop right before closing. The worst customer service experience ever! No acknowledgement even after making eye contact with several members of Target staff. During check out blank stares, no pleasantries no nothing! Truly throughout this pandemic Target has been my Savior. From wipes, to food, to snacks, to clean carts and open cash registers Target has definitely been on point. The staff is always pleasant and very helpful. I feel very safe when I go there. They also always have what I need and items I didn't know I needed until I seen it there. During this pandemic I decreased dairy, meats and ate plant based. I love the almond milk and coconut milk products that they carry. Their selection of fruits, vegetables and frozen foods as well. I tried to tell the girl working the customer service desk that three out of the five stalls in the bathroom were out of commission and they ended up just standing in the bathroom talking doing absolutely nothing and laughing after making contact with me twice. Go to check out today in aisle 10. There's an African American lady with shoulder length brown hair, older woman. The light to her aisle is on. Lines are crazy long. My toddler is crying in her stroller overtired and ready to go. I walk up and start to take things out and she tells me her lane is closed. I mention to her that her light is on and she basically looks at me, turns it off, grabs her water and starts walking away. Employees here are rude as hell. I worked in Customer service and would never do that. If my light was on when the customer came up, I would've turned it off, checked out that customer and then left. read more

I just love Target. All of them really. I like to go in with a plan to spend $30 and grab a few things. But usually I end up walking out with a cartful of stuff $450 later. I mean at least my intentions are good. That's what counts. Again. I love Target. I bet if they put that on a graphic tee it would sell like crazy. You're welcome Target. My only suggestion to this store would be to consider putting an item limit for the self checkout registers. Maybe not all but a few. I heard some grumbling from the customers in line behind me as we watched two ladies at separate self checkout registers with completely full carts. The customer service here is horrible and the lines are always long. They clearly are not training their employees like they should because I had a lady mess up my entire purchase while there were many people in line behind me. I felt bad for the other customers so I said I would head over to customer service but they were no better! I wanted a refund for a single item because after purchasing I noticed it was broken before even taking it home. She refunded my entire purchase because after having exactly $300 to cover my purchase, the void took my money off of my card and it was a pending purchase meaning I no longer had enough money to purchase ANYTHING because I didn't have an extra $300 on the single card I took into the store! The selection and stock of available products always seems to be lacking here. The only reason I ever even came was because I used to live in a nearby apartment complex so for quick shopping runs not wanting to drive 10 minutes to the nearest Walmart I chose Target instead. I needed to grab some household items and made a trip to this location. The store is neat, clean and there were employee in every department in case I needed help. I was actually greeted by 3 of them! I had an issue with my target app on my phone and the self checkout attendant was extremely helpful in helping me to resolve the issue and assisting me with my self checkout process. This is definitely my go to store! read more

**Target at 1040 Timber Drive in Garner, NC** I want to give a huge shoutout to a handful of employees that really saved my bum when I was starting a new job and needed and last minute "uniform" put together! Nancy, Michelle, Marcus, and Katie all did a fantastic job helping me from start to finish. Marcus was especially helpful at finding what I needed, by talking with me over the phone, taking the time to hear all of my needs, and setting the proper clothes aside for me, as I rushed in to try some shirts on. He made sure the shirts were in ready-to-wear condition. Everyone was fantastic on this day a few weeks back!! That being said, my experience this week was less than pleasurable. I called in with a similar need on Saturday, due to a last minute shift change. I needed a white blouse, when I normally wear black. I called ahead due to the time crunch. This time I spoke with Erica. She was polite over the phone and I was happy, until I got to the store to pick up my shirts to try on. She crammed them into a bag, wrinkling them beyond repair and I was on my way to work. This was incredibly frustrating, as I stated my specific needs to her. Clearly she wasn't listening or didn't even care. I told her I needed a thin black belt. While she set aside various belts for me, some of them were not black, and none of them actually fit me. I found what I needed thanks to Mike (I believe). All ended well. Again, thank you soooo much Marcus!!!! I admit, I often go in for one, small item and exit with bags full of things I did not need, but Target is my "go to" place when I'm bored and just feel like shopping. They have decent prices and a great selection of everything from cute clothes and accessories to home decor to electronics....and more! For the best deals, wait until the end of the season. My husband and I bought an artificial Christmas tree after Christmas one year for a fraction of the original price, SCORE! This is one of my favorite Target locations. I've found items cheaper in this location versus the Timber Drive location. The bonus was they refunded me the difference and now all Targets price match!! I wish they had a Starbucks inside, but they've since built one in the Cabela's shopping center (across the street). read more

I did my second order ever of a drive up order. It was bright and sunny when it was ready. By the time I got there, it was pouring down rain. This Target pharmacy is awful every time I go to pick up a prescription it's either never ready or they haven't looked at their prescriptions yet to fill them. I've had to wait several times to get a prescription even when we called ahead and sometimes it was called in days prior and it's still not done or they say they need to call the doctors office. I'm under the impression this is a sales ploy to have you walk around the store and get you to buy stuff that you don't need. read more

Store has kept well over the few years it has been open. Parking isn't terrible, however it isn't easy to find a space within the first hundred feet from the store. We started off my purchasing a cherry and raspberry icees for the girls along fresh popcorn. That snack assist us with our shopping. We found some decent deals on children's clothing. Outside from that, it's the usual Target products (little over priced for scenery). One big thing that helps this shopping center is that it isn't backed up to inner city leased buildings/apartments. I have always stated that if you want to keep a shopping center looking great, don't build residential homes around it. We were able to find a check-out lane and get out within minutes. This is the cleanest, neatest Targets I've been in. The customer service is wonderful! The pharmacy is very helpful when I've needed help locating an item, they have gone out of their way to come out and locate it for me. Other areas of the store have also been very eager to help, alway plenty of customer service available. Only thing I have to complain about is the walk to the pharmacy, it's a bit much, I feel it should be closer to the front of the store as I'm a senior citizen and have trouble walking, and it's not always convenient to walk back there and then have to stand in a line to wait, they need to make it easier for seniors as I believe most of their money comes from seniors buying their medicine there. Yes, I know there are riding carts, but they aren't alway available. Also only one little bench in the back, and if you get out of line you'll miss your turn! Not easy on someone with bad knees. This has been a horrible experience today. I'm a frequent @Target shopper however this crop of employees, stocking the shelves, today had no problem discussing their disdain for the shoppers that were shipping and getting in their way and/or asking questions. Target in general gets 10 stars in my book. But this Target is just okay. It's not a Super Target, so I don't hold it to that standard. But even for a regular Target, I feel like it's not very well stocked. They have a pretty good sized grocery section but they always seem to be completely out of what I need. Bad luck? Maybe. But it's happened enough times that I'm demoting them to 4 stars. Overall a great clothing selection though. And it's a less busy location so it's not picked over and they always have tons of sale items. And customer service is always very friendly and checking out goes fast. read more

I noticed that at Target stores, and now the one closest to me, you really need to check your receipt. I purchased some grocery items which rang up almost a dollar more at the register. So now I had to wait in the customer service line to get a refund and to report the price issue. Customer service was great and they said they would report this. But based on pricing issues not fixed at other Targets, it will be interesting to see if my reported issue gets fixed. read more

Yesterday I purchased a television from one of your stores that was a return. I brought it home today after getting a truck to pick it up, and once I get home with my brother we plug it in & it doesn't work. The serial number on the tv and on the box also do not match. Somehow someone was able to return a $600 television with efficient return check. I was told that the vendor plugs the tv in after return & also checks the serial numbers, but neither of those things could've have happened with this tv. It says it was inspected on 3/29...but I know that is false. I call corporate (Spoke with Penny who said she didn't have any other identifying factors but her first name) & explain the situation to them & all they said was I couldn't return it because the serial numbers don't match (even though someone already did it before) & I would need to call Samsung to see what they could do. I spent a lot of money with the store & I am a red card holder. For Target to not take responsibility for their error & make it my issue that I need to fix is unacceptable. Penny also stated that it doesn't matter who I talk to I probably won't get my money back & offered me $100 gift card for a broken tv that I payed $450. This is truly disappointing and I expect something to be done about this. read more

This is a large Target store, and on the whole, it seems a pretty nice one. It has been clean, neat, and well stocked every time we've been there for something. It is bigger than the store was where we used to live. If you need help in the aisles, it can be difficult to find someone to assist you, but that is generally true in these big box stores. Target always displays their merchandise very alluringly. It is easy to get in and out of this location. read more

Friday night November 18th went to the White Oak Garner Target looking for a youth Panthers football jersey for my son. I was not able to find one in the store so I stopped by guest services for assistance. While at guest services I met two of the most helpful people in retail!!! Both store associates were very kind, patient and determined to help me find the football jersey for my little fan!!!
