When we arrived we had to wait for a few minutes prior to us being able to enter the store since there were so many people inside. All of the employees that we came in contact with were very friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. There were a lot of nice items including shoes, purses, and clothes for sale. Employees also gave out wine, water, cookies, pretzels, and bags with purchase. There was also a DJ. More giveaways & sales will be available for the grand opening on Thursday.

They have a Barnes & Noble, PINK, Victoria's Secret, Spencer's and Encore Shoes. Several small boutiques, athletic sports stores and famous chain sneaker stores(Champs, Footlocker). This is the reason I label this a "Urban" mall is because of all the street apparel stores. If you're looking for high end luxury designer shoppes like Lululemon, Nordstrom, Louis V., you won't find that here. At all. This is a decent mall to stroll through for a walk or if you need to pick up something quick while in the area. Some of the stores are small businesses just paying rent and not very popular. I have enjoyed shopping at Spencer's, DTLR, Foot Locker, Hollister, PacSun, Macy's, BELK. I mostly shop this mall for my preteen. It is so convenient when in the area, to stop by and shop quickly. Parking is effortless. I hope they can renovate this mall. It has soooo much potential to be better. The food court does not offer many options. I frequent the Chinese buffet Sinowok. However, there are some unique stores here. Anime, cosplay and tabletop gaming are covered, and the hobby store has an RC parts inventory that throws me back to my teens. It's got a Planet Smoothie, which is oddly rare in this area. Now that the mall has had two shootings a week apart we can probably kiss the handful of megabrands goodbye when their leases are up for renewal. Sucks, this was a good place to zombie mall walk.

The dressing room appeared to be blocked off with several racks blocking the entrance. Macy's can invest in a renovation for this location and their fitting rooms. The rooms are dated and falling apart ! Why should I spend my money here ? I had to ask a sales associate if it was operable ? I enjoy the styles that Bar III, INC and On 34th bring to this department store. This location has my size in stock in many brands. I found the stock here, slim pickins! I also visited the Macy's Backstage and it was horrendous. Very sloppy and the sales associates, need a lesson in customer service on the sales floor. A subpar shopping experience here for me. I left with one item from Backstage that was clearance priced. A True Religion cross body bag for my daughter.

The problem was that they didn't have much selection. There were no solid white shirts there under $50. He's only a kid. I'm not paying that much for a shirt he's gonna stain at school. Also, the only blazers I could find were in the Men's section, and the least expensive one was $100. Again, HECK NO!! The same associate helping us even told us not to waste our money there for him. They are too expensive & I was better off going to Burlington or somewhere like that. I ended up going to Walmart for the shirt & Target for the blazer. Both things together was cheaper than the Macys blazer. I appreciate the associate's advice & his willingness to help. That's why this store gets 4 stars.
