The store was super clean and organized. It's been a while for me to go to this TJ Maxx. I always love a good clean store.

This particular Costco in Homestead opened in 2007, and it contains many of the same types of products as do other locations of Costco. For several years, my husband and I have been Executive members of Costco, and we have off and on shopped at this Costco. This store includes departments of groceries, electronics, jewelry, appliances, clothing, accessories, health and beauty, books, optical, hearing aid center, pharmacy, food court, gas station, tire center, etcetera. We shop here to stock up on groceries (e.g., chicken, salmon, pierogies, asparagus, caesar salad, and granola bars), household cleaning products (e.g., paper towels, toilet paper, and pods for laundry and dishes), and hygiene products (e.g., contact solution). They also have good deal on gift cards, winter coats, computers, and batteries. We think that Costco's products are a high quality and that their prices are low. I often forget to bring my large tote bags from home, so I appreciate that Costco provides free cardboard boxes near the cash registers. The cashiers have always accurately rung up our purchases and politely thanked us.

But 2 Pepperoni slices and a drink for a final total of $5.12 is PRETTY amazing this day and age. For the cost, your getting something that costs a bit above that. It's not Cafeteria pizza bad but it's also not going to make a local hall of fame. In a pinch though, this steal came in SO RIDICULOUSLY handy.

As of the time of this review, options for foods and drinks include a Giant Eagle grocery store, a Fine Wine & Good Spirits, and about 20 restaurants (e.g., Burgatory, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Crazy Mason, Eat 'n Park, Jimmy John's, Longhorn, Storming Crab, and Yokoso). I enjoy many of the restaurants. Retail stores present a good number of options for clothing (e.g., Dick's Sporting Goods, LOFT, and Rally House), footwear (e.g., DSW and Shoe Fly), home goods (e.g., Costco, Lowe's, Michael's, Mattress Firm, and Petco), and health and beauty products (e.g., Bath & Body Works, GNC, and Ulta). Current entertainment includes AMC movie theater, Barnes & Noble bookstore, Dave & Buster's, Improv comedy club, Paint Monkey, and Urban Air Adventure Park. Other current businesses are a few banks, a few hotels, some cell-phone stores, a gym, and healthcare providers (e.g., dental and vision). As you can see, this shopping center has numerous options for different types of customers to eat a meal, go shopping, and be entertained. This shopping center does not contain all of my favorite stores, but I like it more than most other shopping centers in the Pittsburgh area. I even have a friend who drives two hours one-way to shop here.

I grabbed a coffee at Starbucks, shopped at Ultra Beauty, Target, and at Lunch Mexican restaurant. Would recommend the area.

It's great to pick up what I need quickly and the staff is usually nice and helpful. This is a little niche but one thing I have noticed is if you're coming here for kpop albums make sure to check to make sure they haven't been opened yet because a lot of people will come here and steal the photo cards out of the albums so make sure they're still sealed before you buy them. Everything is pretty averagely priced if not a little on the high side. I used to go to Aldi, but now their prices have risen to be about the same as target so typically if they actually have what I'm looking for I'll go to target instead since it's more convenient. It's nice that they have the Starbucks and the eye doctor place in the target. I got my eyes checked at their clinic before and it was a fairly easy and reasonably priced experience. The glasses selection isn't really that great though so I'd recommending just doing the check up and then waiting to order glasses online.

For many years my husband and I have visited Squirrel Hill, mostly to shop and dine. We always park our vehicle in a garage. We recommend putting a bit more money into the parking meter than you expect to need, because we have seen a police officer writing many parking tickets for vehicles in that garage. Most recently, my husband and I did a self-designed food tour in several restaurants on Murray Avenue and Forbes Avenue. We ate at T-Swirl Crepe, Waffallonia, Amazing Dumplings, Commonplace Coffee, and Hidden Harbor. We also shopped in Panda Supermarket, Chocolate Moose, and Ebisu and spent time in the Carnegie Library. Previously we enjoyed eating at Kiin Lao & Thai Eatery, Ramen Bar, Kyo Matcha, Mango Mango, etcetera. It's because my theme is a progressive dinner style around Asian restaurants. I saw a lot of storefronts on Forbes that were covered with coming soon building wraps. They were all Asian restaurants. That's a good sign. For sure, it's a progress with economic prosperity in this neighborhood. I stayed at an Airbnb with walking distance to the center of the attention. My only gripe was that not many restaurants open on Sunday morning. But I enjoyed my morning stroll alone to witness the fall colors. That's a bonus on this trip. I could never see this sight in Houston Texas, where I'm from.
