very rude employees, i went to checkout and this lafy had the worst attitude towards me.

I'm not a department store shopper often, I'm more of a mosey around, think about it and walk out. That is probably why I rarely come to Kohl's. I typically visit department stores that are attached to malls. That way I usually just walk out and find the exact same there elsewhere in a mall and usually cheaper. However, I was surprised with Kohl's. Especially so since this was one of the few places that carried the item I was looking for. This space was filled with merchandise that kind of reminds you of a TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I was able to easily find what I was looking for which made for a swift shopping experience. When I reached the checkout I was asked if I had any coupons or deals to use today, which I did not seeing how this was the first time in here. Without missing a beat the nice lady behind the register pulled out a sales add and scanned a coupon for me, somehow the item I was purchasing was close to half off and I wasn't going to complain. Kohl's is one of the few stores of it's kind in the Irwin area, so I'm glad to have it. Pros: You can get some really good deals,especially if you are a rewards member (I am) or have a Kohl's credit card (I don't). Recently, I received a $20 coupon via email....yeah! Also, I do like a lot of their clothes and have found some really nice gifts here. Cons: My biggest problem with Kohl's is this: their selling tactics. Almost everything in the store is overpriced and then marked down to be "on sale". Nothing is just regular price. The thing is, even with the 50% or 75% off, the stuff's still expensive, or if I'm being generous, reasonably priced. I'll give you an example... My mom and I were shopping here last week and they had kitchen stuff on sale, as usual. My parents have a nice porch, and often like to eat their meals outside. So, she likes to buy that hard plastic dishware (also good for parties). But I digress... So Kohl's had plastic cups, bowls, and plates on sale for something like 75% off. My mom is ecstatic...she loves sales. Anyway...so the cups are $2.09 and the small bowls and plates around $1.60. Not really a bad deal. But really, you could go to the Dollar Store or Wal-Mart and get the same thing for a buck a piece. It just seems like a good deal because it's 75% off. My other big con is more of a personal dilemma. I am in my mid thirties and, although I do like a lot of their clothes, they just don't seem right for me. The juniors section, although they have cute stuff, is way too young for me. Then, the women's section clothing is simply just too old and frumpy (sorry...) They carry Vera Wang and JLo clothing, which is cute, but simply way too overpriced, even on sale. So, I will continue to shop at Kohl's...I just have to look hard for something right for me and make sure I'm getting a good deal. read more

This review is for Kohl's "buy online / instore pickup" for the North Huntingdon location. First, it's a great way to not overspend - BOOM! Here's what you went in to pick up. Second, very time effective and no waiting for home delivery, no added delivery/handling charges. Is an okay department store that sells mid-range products. This is the only store of its kind in Irwin so makes for a nice place to go to if you feel like shopping but don't want to go too far. I am not really a fan of the clothes that they sell here but do like the kitchen stuff and candles. read more

Nice store, needs to be more than this store, as this one is 45 minutes from my home. I don't have kohl rewards yet, so I got to use my siblings phone number and she earned rewards points, while I got $20 in Kohls Cash, courtesy of one of the friendlier cashiers I transacted with in a long time. read more

I almost gave this place a 3 or 4 but the customer service made it a 5 star. I usually only shop clearance almost anywhere because I'm into sales and business and i know buying anything but is a rip off. The prices were pretty good and the quality clothes was very good. think her name was Susan or something with an S she was an older lady but very dressy but she was very nice and honest about the offers the store had. And I really appreciate that The customer service I think is the most important part of any customer experience and this place deserves that, there was a tag missing from two of the items I wanted and they were going to go to the back and look it up manually so I thought they were gonna be forever but the lady came back in the blink of an eye and said forget it I'll give it to you clearance price and we were out. We got some nice duds and we had fun trying stuff on. the changing rooms were very clean and there was a always someone around to help or ask questions to. read more

Kohl's Department Store in North Huntingdon, PA 15642 is the very "best" store. I have experienced this aspect in all areas of the store personally. From their children's, ladies, men's, house ware, jewelry or any other department you would need you will see as I do. Exceptional products, and a wonderful customer service that backs their products up each and every time. Oh!
