It kind of reminds me of a mattress store, something you don't need to buy every day, but there are numerous ones out there. They are so underwhelming. I came in here in hopes that I might find a new pair of shoes as a few pairs of mine were getting to the end. What I walked into was a disappointment, what I didn't walk out of here with is a new pair of shoes. Like most Famous Footwear stores out there, they appear big from the outside. You walk in and think that you are going to get a vast selection of shoes. But only if you are a woman. Nothing wrong with that, but I would prefer to have a bigger selection to choose from rather than just a few aisles. Over half the store is comprised of women's shoes. What little space is left is for men's and children's. As for the selection, not much. Maybe just different colorings for styles, but there was not much to choose from. I did a quick take, even went through the small selection of clearance shoes and did not find anything that remotely caught my eye. Needless to say, I still have on my worn shoes.

Since they have redone the area and added a Walmart across the street, I still find myself shopping at Target more often. Recently, they've added updates to this Target such as an addition of a Starbucks, expanded grocery section, mobile phone department and overall updates throughout the existing departments. Despite these numerous changes, I've never found the remodeling to distract or lengthen my trips. Actually, I very rarely ever notice construction it just seems to appear. All of the employees that I've observed or come in contact with have always been very friendly, helpful, and efficient at their given job. All of the workers really seem to enjoy their job and I've never overheard gossip or bad talk among them. The prices are exactly what you would expect at Target. Some items may be cheaper at Walmart across the street, however I think you're paying for a much nicer and well-kept atmosphere.

Brands included name-brands (e.g., Bounty, Converse, Fancy Feast, L'oréal, Pampers, and T-Fal) and the Target brand. Prices ranged from low to moderate. I bought a dry-erase eraser, and it had a reasonable quality and price. I used the self-checkout and experienced no problems with the machine.

If you're on your feet all day, this is also the place, although I don't know if they carry the steel-toed boots people in some occupations need. But if you work in a hospital, retail, restaurant, or similar, they carry dozens of beautiful and fashionable styles you will love. People who just love really comfortable shoes and sandals will also find a lot to love. What really stands out, though, is the customization they can do. That includes everything from heel lifts to platforms for those with one shorter leg to fully custom molded shoes. I would imagine they could do just about anything else one might need or just want, too, and they can also do just regular shoe repair, although that is clearly not their main niche. They will also make needed adjustments even to shoes or boots you have bought elsewhere, so steel-toed boot wearers, take heed. I had had to quit wearing my beloved Birkenstocks because although I love the support of their footbed, arthritis in my feet was making the amount of depth too painful. Mark (the lovely and really helpful owner) suggested inserting a thin pad between the insole and the cork main body of the sandal. That totally solved the problem and gave me plenty of cushioning while still leaving my feet fully and securely supported as only a Birkenstock can do. Years later, they are still perfect, and my feet have never hurt again in them. The showroom is big, spacious, bright, and sunny thanks to multiple large windows. The store is also fully wheelchair accessible - yay! And great bonus - they have parking behind the store! They are also right on a couple of major bus lines, so they should be reachable from almost anywhere for people who don't drive. It can get really busy, and with the customization they often do and the extra attention that requires, and AFAIK, only one or two people working, there can be a bit of a wait for your turn, so just leave plenty of time for your visit, especially if you know you will need any sort of modification. Great store, great location, great selection, and great people and service. What's not to love, for anyone who loves really comfy shoes?

You need a lot of time to walk around and check everything out. I was on a limited schedule but was still able to find those fabulous shoes. I got a $98 pair of shoes for $24.50. I was so happy about it and they are so comfortable. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Next time I'm in town, I will make sure to be able to spend more time at the store. I'm sure I could've found way more things that were right up my alley! It's in a beautiful shopping center and it's nice to walk around. Kudos to the staff for being so nice to us! (I'm allergic to nickel so I was hesitate to wear it, I tried it and since it's loose and not tight on my wrist, I think it would be okay.) At any rate, I can't see wearing the bracelet with just the one charm, so I thought I'd stopped in to look around. The store has some really cute jewelry, purses and bags, scarves, accessories, etc. Let me tell you, this place was really hopping! I spotted at least 5 sales people and around 8 or 10 customers. Not bad for a little shop in an outside "strip mall" type atmosphere. Actually, the store is quite bigger than it appears from the outside and, for the life of me, I can't remember what was here before this boutique. But I digress... I spot the jewelry counter where two sales women were waiting on customers. Both said that they would be with me in just a moment. However, noticing that the two customers both donned an extensive amount of jewelry and bracelets on each on arm, both wearing a Pandora bracelet choked full of charms....I decided this might take a while. So, I did what anyone else with the patience of toddler would do...I butted in. I asked, politely, the price range on the charms. The sales lady, who didn't seem to mind the interruption since the customer was busy looking through a gamut of charms, told me that the charms run $30 and up. Hmmm I was discouraged. She said that I could look around and when she was free, look over some charms with me. I said thanks, but I was in a hurry. She handed me a thick catalog of jewelry to take home with me. I have to give the store 4 stars for the following: cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, selection, and quality of the products. I can't really fault the boutique for my cheapness or lack of patience. I may be back to purchase something for myself when I have more time to look around or if I was looking for a special, unique gift.

I picked out a pair of Calvin Klein underwear that were on clearance and two dog toys that were on sale. I used the self-checkout. Now, every time I go I feel like I'm in a seconds store that is just a chaotic, disorganized mess. They typically only have one set of registers open, so there are often lines. Signage in the store is often incorrect (sale prices listed for items that aren't on sale, items in the wrong place etc). There are price checkers throughout the store but those often aren't working either. Clothes seem to be haphazardly thrown together on racks. I want to be able to quickly find something in my size, not feel like I'm on a poorly mapped out treasure hunt. Prices seemed to have increased dramatically with a lower selection and lackluster service. They do occasionally have some good sales, but you really have to be diligent to see if what you think is on sale actually is on sale. It isn't the worst place to shop, but I wish they'd fix some of these issues and be more like it was before.
