I used ZickNacks for a junk removal for just a small fee. They got everything out in a timely manor. I'll definitely be using them again!

If you come to Red White & Blue, you too can find the gems and no need to be a seasoned thrifter! What amazing finds! Like A-mazing!! Example: $398.00 designer dress for $7.99..... AND half off! A $350.00 leather purse for $40.00 and half off! Wood, mid century coffee table for $7.00 (in other stores this table would be $50.00 or more). You must dedicate some time to looking at each section and you definitely can't be in a hurry. If you just swish through each section, you too can find phenomenal deals. You will find almost every name brand item here for an amazing price and in fairly new/new condition. Only problem is you can't try your items on. I did see a guy with a fabric measuring tape which I thought was genius. He would measure his pants and shirts to make sue the actual listed size would fit him. Where there is a will, there is a way! I decided to pass on a few items out of fear that the fit was off for my body. Parking is plenty, plan to wait in a line (not too bad of a wait) to check out, and CASH is king since it is the only way to pay.

I was optimistic and in a positive mindset when I arrived here to thrift shop. When I arrived, it was super loud, mostly from the 90's music from iHeart Radio blasting over the speakers. It was incredibly congested. There were only 2 carts left, and I took 1. I shopped in the men's area only. Nearly all of the tags were blue. White, peach, yellow, and green were on sale. There were no mirrors and no fitting rooms. I paid full price and spent $30 on 4 pairs of pants that don't fit. The men's pants section was: black dress pants, kaki dress pants, and jeans. There was not a large selection of sweatpants (actually, they were all gray) or shorts. There was stuff everywhere--the floor, and that top area between racks. The cashier was polite and smiling at the person infront of me, and speaking politely with the other customers who had checked out before me. When it was my turn, her smile dropped and she seemed reluctant to speak to me. I'm a white, feminine-presenting, non-binary person who wore a mask (bc covid) and bought men's clothes. You would think someone who had worked there for 7 months would be less judgmental towards their customers, especially at a thrift store. They had a huge TV showing what was on sale, but they don't have those tiny machines that handle credit and debit cards? (It's cash only.) Making nearly everything in the men's section have a blue tag? No mirrors? I was there for hours because I had to sort though so many things that were not organized by size. Towards the end/ maybe after 6 pm, there was a voice over the speakers telling customers to not speak to the employees while they were restocking. It was quiet and I couldn't hear it very well, but it kept coming on, which I thought was strange. Although I was optimistic when I came here, I got a bad vibe and a bad gut feeling throughout my shopping experience. It doesn't seem like they *want* to prioritize selling the items, it seems like they like being over-stocked and having the appearance of a thrift store that offers discounts. This is a for-profit thrift store that originated in Florida, so there's that. I plan to try out other thrift stores to see if I can find a better one, particularly one with fitting rooms.

A small shop not really made for more than 1 or 2 people at a time. It's also probably not ideal for small children. Additionally, mind the sign and open the door nice and slow as there is usually a cat or two hanging out inside and you don't want to let them out. It's has a mix of some clothes and a lot of weird nicknacks and miscellaneous items. The three rooms are filled to the brim and the prices are incredibly low. While it's not the type of place I'd go to fill out my winter or summer wardrobe, but it's great for unique finds.

I'm always on the hunt for something unique to add to my ever growing collection of kitsch. This place definitely delivers when it comes to the unique. It's a rather small shop, or maybe it's quaint. Whatever it is, it is warm and welcoming as soon as you walk inside. I happened in here on a rather bleak day outside and being greeted by the owner when I walked in really made my day. I really enjoyed chatting with her. It not only made me feel welcomed in here, but I also felt that I was more inclined to purchase something since she had shown an interest of my being in her store. There is so much to be found in here that looking around you definitely get nostalgic. I had noticed items that reminded me of growing up. Things that you don't give a second notice while growing up, but grow to appreciate later in life. Bowls that remind you of a family dinner, a toy that reminds you of a family member or just an item that reminds you of a time that you were carefree. Pricing is reasonable and in my opinion, much better than other stores of this type. Although you may not find those bigger pieces what you will find here are some pretty great items that you won't find elsewhere in the city.

The director of operations of the penn hills warehouse Bryan Engel is a selfless man who works for a catholic organization and does not care about anything besides money, treats his employees with disrespect and disdain. He raises budgets for stores and the warehouse and threatens employees for their jobs when certain demands are not met when employees cannot control the influx of donations to meet these certain demands. It's purely unacceptable for a non-profit company because that is not the mission described to the public. Not to mention he's not a catholic himself. certain employees who have been loyal to the company have no received a pay increase from $11/hr for 7 years per Bryan. purely unsustainable for todays economy. They also have a voucher system that claims to help families and individuals in need but get put on a waiting list for months and months at a time. their main goal is to make money for themselves and not for their employees or other people in need. Do not give the Penn hills store or warehouse any business because you will be severely disappointed. Their mattress company "Chicago mattress company" refurbishes used mattresses to be resold for hundreds of dollars. as well as their furniture And clothing. Take your business and applications elsewhere. if not you'll be severely disappointed.
