I like to think of myself as a seasoned thrifter with the ability to find the gems in thrift stores. If you come to Red White & Blue, you too can find the gems and no need to be a seasoned thrifter! What amazing finds! Like A-mazing!! Example: $398.00 designer dress for $7.99..... AND half off! A $350.00 leather purse for $40.00 and half off! Wood, mid century coffee table for $7.00 (in other stores this table would be $50.00 or more). You must dedicate some time to looking at each section and you definitely can't be in a hurry. If you just swish through each section, you too can find phenomenal deals. You will find almost every name brand item here for an amazing price and in fairly new/new condition. Only problem is you can't try your items on. I did see a guy with a fabric measuring tape which I thought was genius. He would measure his pants and shirts to make sue the actual listed size would fit him. Where there is a will, there is a way! I decided to pass on a few items out of fear that the fit was off for my body. Parking is plenty, plan to wait in a line (not too bad of a wait) to check out, and CASH is king since it is the only way to pay. read more

This was my first and last time at a Red White and Blue Thrift Store. We go into this very poorly lit location and shop for over an hour. They have a lot of stuff. It was all a waste of time. They don't have fitting rooms. They don't have a return policy. They are charging over $20 for a used dirty pair of pants. Cheapest item I had in my cart was $10 and it was in good shape. If I wanted to leave with over $100 worth of clothes and only have a handful of items I'm then I will go to Gabe's or Marshall's and buy brand new items that I can try on and return if needed. Oh and it's cash only. And don't ask the slack-jawed employees a question or else they'll look at you like you have 3 heads and a horses a**. This place is a joke. read more

This is somewhere I was open to working at. It's somewhat close, and I usually love thrift stores and sorting and organizing things. I was optimistic and in a positive mindset when I arrived here to thrift shop. When I arrived, it was super loud, mostly from the 90's music from iHeart Radio blasting over the speakers. It was incredibly congested. There were only 2 carts left, and I took 1. I shopped in the men's area only. Nearly all of the tags were blue. White, peach, yellow, and green were on sale. There were no mirrors and no fitting rooms. I paid full price and spent $30 on 4 pairs of pants that don't fit. The men's pants section was: black dress pants, kaki dress pants, and jeans. There was not a large selection of sweatpants (actually, they were all gray) or shorts. There was stuff everywhere--the floor, and that top area between racks. The cashier was polite and smiling at the person infront of me, and speaking politely with the other customers who had checked out before me. When it was my turn, her smile dropped and she seemed reluctant to speak to me. I'm a white, feminine-presenting, non-binary person who wore a mask (bc covid) and bought men's clothes. You would think someone who had worked there for 7 months would be less judgmental towards their customers, especially at a thrift store. They had a huge TV showing what was on sale, but they don't have those tiny machines that handle credit and debit cards? (It's cash only.) Making nearly everything in the men's section have a blue tag? No mirrors? I was there for hours because I had to sort though so many things that were not organized by size. Towards the end/ maybe after 6 pm, there was a voice over the speakers telling customers to not speak to the employees while they were restocking. It was quiet and I couldn't hear it very well, but it kept coming on, which I thought was strange. Although I was optimistic when I came here, I got a bad vibe and a bad gut feeling throughout my shopping experience. It doesn't seem like they *want* to prioritize selling the items, it seems like they like being over-stocked and having the appearance of a thrift store that offers discounts. This is a for-profit thrift store that originated in Florida, so there's that. I plan to try out other thrift stores to see if I can find a better one, particularly one with fitting rooms. read more

It's thrifting - Come in with 0 expectations, and you will probably leave with something you didn't know you were looking for. I always make out well on work clothes at this location. Some of the prices are all over the place, but by far it's still cheaper than other big chain thrift stores in the area. They have sales on different color tags throughout the week. Go expecting to spend a lot of time here, especially sifting through all the cheaply made items. I usually always find a few things I love and wear regularly. I've shopped here since the 90s and always considered this place my favorite thrift store. It saddens me to say it's just not as fun of an experience anymore. The clothes racks used to be impeccably organized by color, style, and size but not so much recently (RIP ladies plus size section). This could also just be a sign of the times, but I feel like the quality isn't as good (pilled sweaters/stained shirts/dirty appliances/wobbly furniture). Even the way clothes are hung on hangers by the manufacturer tag/stretching out the fabric makes me feel like this place doesn't care anymore. :( One thing that hasn't changed is staff are always super nice (especially considering how crowded and wild it gets). read more

I almost never leave reviews but I am a long time customer of this store and after another unsatisfying foray today I decided to accept the invitation laying on the counter when I left and write a review. Everything I say or criticize applies equally to both stores except the parking lot at the rte. 65 store is fine, but a tad small. The lot at the rte 51 store is once again like a minefield and with no signage to direct new customers where to go. Both stores have raised prices, suffered a major decrease in inventory, continue to have the worst customer service of anyplace anywhere and are bascially a hot mess to try and shop in. I have no idea of the cause, but it has been this way for a while so it is really unlikely to change. read more

I am so disappointed in the direction this thrift store has gone. 10 ladies I am friends with feel the same. in fact none of us are going back. it is a big total mess. too many clothes/no order size wise and racks are so full you can't even push the items over to look at what interested you because it is so jammed up. Plus sizes are mixed up with the others is the biggest negative change, they used to have them in their own section and that is the biggest reason my friends aren't going there anymore. items are EVERWHERE. Other thrift stores have separation with colors and sizes which is most helpful of all. Oh well there are many other thrift stores around to go to but this used to be our favorite. I have been a very loyal (rabid?) RW&B shopper, both locations, for many years. I've turned on many of my friends to this great resource. Over the years I've found great bargains on shoes, designer purses, linens, furniture, decor, and especially clothing for my husband and me. On a recent visit, I couldn't find the women's plus-size racks (I am a "Lovely XL"). I inquired about it, and was told by a sales associate (who, by the way, are always pleasant and helpful) that the plus sizes are no longer parsed out separately, but scattered around the store among all of the other-sized ladies clothes, by category (pants, jeans, sweaters, etc.). She said she has been hearing a LOT of complaints about this change. Now, I love the thrill of the hunt, and have no problem digging through a few racks of mixed plus sizes to find an item in my size (XL). But when you throw all the ladies sizes together, you will have a massive mishmash of petite, average, tall, S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, etc....all cozied up next to each other, in no particular order. Plus, they're jammed in so tight on the racks you literally can't get your hand in there to pull an item out. In other words, its a big s**t-show. You're getting a little too close to the vibe at "The Bins" in Collier Twp. Life is too short for this kind of BS. There's always Macy's, Nordy, Saks, Walmart and Temu! Been coming here for my clothing since before I could read. It is so horribly disgusting to see someplace that gets thousands of pounds of clothing for FREE, jack their prices up out of greed. The store is packed with items. Definitely stop by if you're not in a rush because you will get sucked in. Great place to get shelving, tables, night stands, etc. purses & shoes or fancy glassware. Prices are reasonable although some items are overpriced and they switch the color of the tags overnight so if you see something you want, get it right there and then. Hooray for the Red, White & Blue! There are some great bargains here, especially if you shop their sale items. Make sure you look at their sign as you enter to determine which color tags are on sale. Also, Wednesday is Senior Citizens Appreciation Day (55 years of age and older), so look for additional savings on Wednesdays if you qualify. This store was remodeled several years ago, and at that time they especially improved and expanded the parking lot. If you dig through their large inventory, you will always find a bargain. Come back in a couple of weeks, their inventory changes quickly. Clothes are arranged by Men/Women/Children, color, and size, so that helps your search. Uh oh, no fitting rooms, which can be a draw back, but the prices are pretty good...so it's worth the risk. Check items closely for holes and flaws. They have an annoying recorded announcement about what happens when tags are removed, but other than that, the store is pretty pleasant and well lit. Cash only. read more

CASH ONLY! Thank god my partner had cash or else that would've been the biggest waste of time for me haha! The establishment is big and there seemed to be a good collection of clothing available. I was in searching of very specific pieces and even though I wasn't as successfully as I hoped, there were enough aisles to keep me occupied for a good hour. I was completely shocked by the prices in this place. The items are WAY WAY WAY overpriced and you're probably better off shopping Nordstrom Rack during their Clear the Closet to get some better deals. I am a very frequent thrifter and this - as well as the other location - are two of my favorite thrift spots in the city. Why only 4 stars? The cash-only will never not be an inconvenience to me. Whether I'm trying to count up my purchases (I regularly spend between $50 and $200) while my toddler screams and people push past me at the ATM, or I try to hustle to the ATM before closing, I hate this aspect of it. The prices can also be a little insane. Luckily, they constantly have discounts on certain color tags. Usually about half the store is 50-75% off. And the real reason that I love these stores is that they have AMAZING finds in them. You have to be willing to dig, but I have found many designer pieces for a steal. There is no dressing room, but I never try on anyway. Clean bathroom and super friendly staff. They never seem to get annoyed with anyone asking the discount of the day. read more

I like a good bargain and enjoy checking out various thrift stores whenever possible. I pass by this store quite frequently but never had a chance to stop. This rating and review is based on my experiences at other shops and in comparison to this one. The Cons: The parking lot on this particular day was quite an obstacle to drive safely through. I witnessed at least four near misses including my own vehicle almost getting hit by several careless and unskilled drivers. The prices. 9.99 for a shirt that was a donated good to this organization. Most other thrift stores charge around 2.00-3.00 dollars. No returns. No dressing room to try on the overly-priced shirt that is nonreturnable. A small mirror in a far corner of the store is offered as an option. A poor explanation was given as to why there are no dressing rooms. " If you want a dressing room go to Macy's". Sorry, in my world money is money and I choose to spend it wisely. Just asking for options before I spend my dollars. Cash only. They staple the price tag onto the garment. I love love LOVE this store. I thought the one on Saw Mill Run was great but this was i think is way awesomer. If only awesomer were a word. I love to go here and find lots of home decor items to decorate my house. candle holders, DIning sets, paints, sculptures and sooo much more. I found this small desk lamp that has a victorian look to it with the shade included for $4. The lamp shade was made of some kind of smooth material almost like leather. It's such a great find. There are plenty of items for sale at this place and most of them are in great shape. So the clothes which occupy most of the store are the best find. The Store has certain days that offer you %50 certain color tags. I went on a Monday and it was half off yellow and white tags. Other days its half off blue, or green or red. I love to go on Saturdays!! This past week it was half off every tag except white. I found so many items for such a cheap price. $7 shirts for $3.50 and tunics for $4. Have you ever find items for $1?? I have!!! I love when I find a great shirt or sweater for $3 or less. Or when you find a brand new item with the tags on them for under $7. I bought a brand new pair of Arizona Jeans (in my size) for $5. I couldn't believe it. I was too excited. The clothes are organized by color but not by size which is a good and bad thing. I like to shop by color since I don't wear too many yellows or purples. I can avoid those sections all together but when I do find a nice shirt in the color I want the size becomes an issue. There were a lot of nice shirt that were just too small or too big. Even when i have to pass on a nice shirt I tend to find one that's just as good at the same price. Shopping here is a gold find!! My sister was the one who introduced me to this store and i used to make fun of her for shopping thrift. If I had known that It was nothing like the Good Will I would have been here a lot sooner. I can't believe I've been here multiple times and haven't reviewed it yet. I absolutely love this place. It's a super thrift store if you will. No matter when I come here, I always find something. It quite the experience. I always make sure it's a day when I am off of work because I can literally spend hours here just looking. It's a good thing that I do this, you can't just show up here and think that you will be able to gran an item and then leave. Like a fellow reviewer said, there are not fitting rooms here, so be prepared to walk into someone trying on a potential great new garment for them self in the middle of an aisle. SCAM. FOR PROFIT. Vets get almost nothing!!! I used to be a fan of this place, kind of, as now and then valuable things would get past their scrutiny that you could get for a good price. We recently donated a ton of really nice stuff to the Vietnamveterans.org---one of those trucks where they come by and it says "veterans pick up donate" on the side of it. I thought I was giving to the Vietnam veterans. Just today I was at the Red White and Blue Thrift Store on Route 51 and saw two items that were 100% positively mine, jacked up for an exorbitant amount of money! I was really shocked. I asked a woman at the cash register, who had been there for quite a few years, what the connection is to the veterans, and she said they get a LITTLE bit of money from the donations. I almost died. This is one of my favorite thrift stores in the burg. Everything is well organized and the checkout lines go fast. I always see plenty of staff members which are always working hard. When I have a goal of something I am looking for .. this store always has it! Cash only - no credit cards but ATM is on site. The mention of "no fitting rooms" often peppered throughout some reviews. I am not one that tries on clothes so that doesnt bother me. I just wing it and it always works out. The ample space for parking is no doubt a bonus. First off, the parking lot situation is a nightmare. They have no fitting rooms. They have a giant selection, but 95% of it is women's clothing. I usually go there to look for records. The set up for those is horrible. It's crammed between a wall and clothing racks, so there is not room for more than one person in the aisle at a time. Their 45s are .95 each. That may not seem excessive but, compared to other thrift stores, that's nearly double the price of other places. The lines are always long. I'm talking going all the way to the back of the store long. Even when there are many cashiers, the lines are still long. Cash only. It's 2017, and they're still cash only. I hate this place. If it were run better and cleaned up a bit - and the prices more in line with a thrift shop, it could be great. But as is, it's awful. read more

Oh my gosh, be prepared to have a field day at this place! They have everything you might be searching for! Clothes, antiques, everyday appliances, shoes, purses, dressers...the list goes on and on! The prices are unbeatable. I got a brand new wine rack for $3! Mind you, every Saturday is half off any yellow stickers! The lines can be pretty long on the weekend but they make up for it with a full staff working the registers. Rating this store is tough because I want to give it a 5...I really do. Huge selection of clothing, housewares, electronics and furniture, but NO FITTING ROOMS! Yes, you read that correctly. No fitting rooms. Are you kidding me?!?! It doesn't completely overshadow the fact that they have great items, but when 95% of what you offer is clothing, you've got to have a few rooms for people to try stuff on! The clothing is organized by style and color, not by size, so be ready to dig. Same thing with the shoes. I asked a staff member where to try on clothing and she directed me to the back corner of the store where there were two long mirrors hanging side by side on the wall, directly in front of the kitchen section. I was slightly confused for a minute and then realized that was my only option. I decided against even peeking at any pants or blouses and instead went for jackets and sweaters I could easily try on over my shirt. Now, the mirrors are directly side-by-side, so if there are two people trying things on over their clothes (so weird), you're going to be right up on top of them. Not to mention you'll be right on top of people browsing through the kitchen section. A lady I was chatting with told me that she has seen women come in wearing tight fitting shirts/tank tops and spandex tights (hey, those are somehow socially acceptable as pants in public now, anyway!) so they are able to easily try everything on over their clothing (still weird). As annoyed as I was about the fitting room situation, I will probably make a trip out there again in the future to browse based solely on the size of the store. Woo Hoo! Dead Lady. This thrift store rocks. I have been doing this for more years that I haven't been, and it is the best in the city. I would make a weekly trek to RWB, and would never be disappointed. These were the days when you could find a vintage 50s something or other on the racks, before there was a "Vintage" section. Still, recently, there is always a treasure to be had, especially in the housewares department. The proximity of this thrift store to the affluent neighborhood of Sewickley accounts for its top-notch merch. I came here all the time while I was freelancing and in charge of my own schedule. It has a lot of points going for it that other thrift shops consistently mess up. 1. It's well lit. You can SEE the clothing, see whatever might be wrong with it, and make an honest assessment. You're never surprised when you leave at the state of the items you've just bought. 2. It is surprisingly clean. Nothing seems to smell, so I can only imagine they've laundered everything thoroughly. 3. There are good quality brands--Ann Taylor, Kenneth Cole, etc. It's mainly items along these lines. You're more likely to find twinsets than clubbing tops here, which if you're over the age of 21 is a good thing. 4. Markdowns and fresh merchandise. These people *know* how to turn over their stock. Because the place is never empty, and there are specials every day, the stock flips rapidly. The merchandise is never the same week to week, so as I mentioned before, it's addictive. You never know what you'll find. A summary of a few things I've bought here: a 6 dollar designer knit dress, a few silk twinsets ($2-$5), countless heels, two pairs of Birkenstocks and two pairs of Doc Martens ($4-$8), a dressmaker's bust ($5), a pressure cooker ($7).... You get the picture. The prices aren't rock bottom, but close enough, and the quality of the clothing will help anyone but the stingiest person get over the 50 cents extra. Found four identical Christmas wreaths. Perfect - four windows in the front of the house, four IDENTICAL wreaths. Waited in the checkout line for just short of an hour (seriously). Got to the checkout - one of the IDENTICAL wreaths did not have a price tag attached. They refused to sell it. All told over an hour completely wasted. Never ever again. read more

On this visit a young gentleman approached me asking if he could be any assistance to me. I explained to Shawn that I was only looking and explained that I am hoping to be moving to the area and would like to purchase some furniture there. This is the very first time an employee approached me when I looked puzzled in the furniture area. We had a very nice profession conversation about my options since I don't drive and will need to transport the larger items. Simply the best thrift store I've ever been to. Well worth the 3 1/2 hour drive from my hometown. First, and foremost, EVERYTHING IS 1/2 off all of the time! Secondly, bring cash. They DO NOT accept credit cards. The store is full of wonderful pieces of clothing, all arranged by color and type (not by size, which is unfortunate). I found a wide selection of everything from casual pieces to high-end business attire to super-trendy teen clothing... what surprised me most about this store was the QUALITY of the clothing. Almost all of the pieces were flawless, a few were worn or faded in some way and the price reflected that. Brand names were bountiful; Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren, Chico's, Jones New York, Ann Taylor, American Eagle, H&M. There were also some wonderful vintage pieces from the 80s, bright colors and crazy shoulder pads that would have made a more adventurous fashionista very happy indeed! The clothing smells wonderful, not musty or dirty as in some thrift stores, and there was even a large selection of plus-sized clothing carefully culled out in a special section. I went to Red White & Blue to find some business attire for my new job, and came home with two gorgeous, flawless statement blazers from Ann Taylor Loft and Banana Republic... for a total of $7!
