I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. We came on Easter Sunday. The parking is free and there's plenty of parking. Came here to get a dryer after ours took the easy way out and died on us. This shop is inside, on the far right of the building if you are looking at it from the outdoor market. Elvis (I think that's what he said) was super helpful and had some really great deals on all kinds of appliances that come with a 90 day warranty! It was so great to go in and grab something that was in our budget and be on our way. He even helped us load up! Visited for the first time since moving to the area and will be back. There's a great mix of vendors selling items from produce to comics to records to toys to sports memorabilia & so on. Being the fall it seemed like there weren't as many vendors as I'd expected, but I'm sure that's different during the summer. One vendor on the inside had some McFarlane Movie Moments figures that I was interested in until I saw they wrote the price and the word firm on the box in marker... Trader Jack's was my childhood. I grew up in Canonsburg, right down the highway from Trader Jacks. Now that I've moved within 15 minutes away from my favorite flea market, it's tempting to go look for deals nearly every weekend! Flea marketing is never the same experience twice no matter where you go or who you are with, which is my favorite thing about it. Beauty is really in the eye of the beholder, so forgive me if you aren't as excited about old cuckoo clocks or glasses with Looney Toons characters as I am. Almost every time you go here I guarantee if you look hard enough you'll find a hidden treasure. Last visit I found a pair of praying hands stamped with a seal on the bottom indicating they were made with olive wood from the Holy Land. My boyfriend brought a backpack and we quickly had it filled with vintage clothing, glassware, and other miscellaneous things that found a new home with us. It'll feel like you're spending a lot of money, but in reality you're far from breaking the bank here. You can haggle with the sellers if you're a real flea market pro, too! Trader Jack's opens at the crack of dawn. My dad definitely lives by the old saying, "the early bird gets the worm," and at Trader Jack's this is a true story. The earlier you can get there, the better selection you will have. In the middle there are some produce farmers that are typically there all day, and their goods are always fresh and fairly priced. My least favorite thing is that they don't have snow cones like they did there when I was young, but there's a small cafeteria with refreshments on the inside part of the flea market. I've been there both as a seller and as a shopper and they are always on point it's always very clean it's always very nicely set up and the food there is surprisingly good and fresh. There's a lot of good deals and if you go on Sunday in the afternoon a lot of vendors will be trying to get rid of stuff cheap. Never had any issues with bargaining or parking. We took a picture of the slip because we know how busy it would be when packing up early in the morning.The woman who owns Trader Jacks refused to accept the picture that was clear of the date. I'm going to review Trader Jack's, but not as a flea market - as a farmer's market! Open on Saturday and Sunday, there are always 3-4 large stands selling produce (at least one of whom I was told is a farm). Some of it is organic and some of it is not. There is every kind of produce, and it's cheap, cheap, cheap! Go early to get the best buys! One of of the sellers has pastured eggs, but you can only get them early on as they always sell out. In general, if going for produce, earlier is better. You don't want to buy produce that has been sitting around all day, especially in hot weather. Also, be sure to walk around the market itself. On any given day, there may be people selling homemade treats, plants, home made canned goods, etc. There are also snow cones, homemade lemonade, and kettle corn. Check it out, and do some thrifting while you're there. Note: For produce, park in the main lot as close to the barriers as possible, as that is where the farm stands are located. read more

Trader Jacks is not the best flea market, but it certainly isn't the worst either. Lots of tables to browse through and a few good trinkets to discover. The food here is not good so I recommend bringing a bag of chips from home if you feel the need to snack whilst here. Also there isn't a soda machine to be found, so if you don't want to wait in verrrry long lines for a drink.....bring that also. All in all, I recommend a visit if you're passing through. read more

Set up for the first time (probably the last time). People there keep bothering you as you are trying to set up, actually going to our vehicle to look around. Very unorganized compared to Rogers OH flea market. Most of the spots do not even have a number on them so you don't even know where to set up and the rows do not even have a sign (Rogers has everything clearly marked). You pay there; nothing is done online. They don't even have a voice mail. No electricity for the vendors, food is lousy in their little food court. Guess what? There's this thing called Food Trucks! Get some in there! Their entrance area has 2 lanes but isn't marked also. Bathroom are disgusting. read more

We go every weekend in the summer for produce, they have a great selection and it's cheaper then big name markets. The people who sell flowers/garden plants are amazing you can't get hanging baskets of flowers for 5.00 anywhere else. read more

What a surprise this place was, let me tell you! So my girlfriend has been pushing for us to go check out this flea market. Just a bit about us, we are frequent thrift shoppers. We make it a point to go out at least 1-2 times a week in search for deals and hidden gems. I wouldn't consider us pros just yet, but I will say that we are experienced. Not to mention, my girl grew up going to Trader Jacks and spoke very highly of it. My girl told me that in order to find the most fire pick ups, we have to get there early. We woke at 7AM! We got our breakfast and headed out. I decided to bring my backpack for all the heat we would find. What a day it turned out to be. Soon as we started searching through the Flea market, I came across a gentleman selling a Penn State crew neck. Penn State was scripted across the chest embroider in. Guy gave it to me for 7 bucks! That would be the first of many fire items we would acquire that day. I have a thing for vintage snapbacks and came across 3 hats that day! All for 1 dollar a piece! Not too mention me and my girl love keeping fresh produce in our house. We had picked up 1lb. of green beans, 1lb. of potatoes, a cucumber, 5 peaches and a big bag of cherries and I believe we spent $11 total. Unreal for the amount of food we got. Bottom line, if you are in the area and looking for bargains and deals, it's a must to swing by. You will not be disappointed, and I can dang there promise you, you will find something either cool or useful there. I went with an open mind and it certainly paid off. It's difficult to rate a flea market, since the place is absolutely dependent on the vendors it draws. More often than not I leave here with some odds and ends. Old, local traffic signs, sports memorabilia, unique jewelry, vintage pennants and postcards are all things my partner and I collect. Peak season is on summer weekends, but on a nice weekend day during other seasons, it's nice to get out and see what's around. I mostly stick to outdoor vendors. The farmer's market seems pretty decent too, and there's always a fresh kettle corn stand. OK, so the place is a little dingy and dirty, as others have said. However, I have to emphasize that this place is a giant gravel lot and a building filled with old stuff. As a flea market, that's kind of the nature of it. I don't go to Trader Jack's expecting an upscale boutique. Just take it all in: The people watching, potential finds and haggling for the best deals make it all worthwhile. read more

Trader Jacks is alright for what it is. We have found some great things at this flea market, but there are more days we don't find anything but a bunch of junk people don't want. If I was a hoarder, this would be my paradise. Often times I wonder why I even bother walking around here, but then I think of the few things I have found that I got great deals on. If you've got nothing to do, you could check it out, but making a special trip to come here would more than likely end up being a big disappointment. read more

This is The best Flea Market in the Pittsburgh area. They have all the classics; cheap socks, sports and military collectibles, crappy Chinese products of all types etc. There are good antiques and random old stuff, a few of the stands in the building are very long standing, the sports collectibles and the clock and radio repair guy are must sees. The best stand the the "stuffed animal pile", guaranteed to give you an allergy attack, this stand of overpriced weird crap has been the exact same for ten years of my memory. They have a delightful snack bar and an actual BAR bar where you can drink beers and watch the Steelers on Sunday. There's produce too. read more

Was getting water at the concession stand. Girl serving food was smoking electronic cigarette right at the counter while serving the food. I dont care if it is real smoke or not it cant be legal. NAZI FLAGS AT TRADER JACK'S FLEA MARKET Today, May 19, 2018. I was shopping at Trader Jack's flea market in Bridgeville, Pa. and found a vendor selling new Nazi Flags. I found it upsetting to find these symbols of hate sold at such a place. A different vendor, who was also upset about this, pointed out a lady that appeared to be in charge. When I complained to her she became verbally abuse and I was asked to leave and escorted out by an employee of Trader Jack's. From what I can see and her attitude, I have assume this selling of hate symbols is acceptable to Trader Jacks's. I will not shop at Trader Jack's Flea Market again. Trader Jacks has been one of the biggest Flea Markets in SWPA for years now. It's open year round with hit or miss crowds depending on the colder seasons, weather, etc. The vendors on the inside pretty much stay the same and I rarely go in since it's the same stuff every week. The real diamonds in the rough are outside where soccer moms sell off last years school clothes and old guys hock refurb'd lawnmowers. I got a Cisco Router($2500 retail) for $20 one of the last times I was there, good deal. Sundays the day to go. read more

We've been going to Trader Jack's for about 15 years. We skipped going the last couple of years because life was just too busy. It was SUPPOSED to be a nice day today and we were on the hunt for some vintage brooches so off we went. There were very few outdoor vendors. Probably because winter is barely over and the sun decided to hide. There used to be all kinds of people from all walks of like selling their no longer needed or wanted items. Today it seemed like the only sellers were fruit & veggie vendors along with people who couponed to get stuff free and then sell it at flea markets. We went to check the permanent vendors inside the building on site (also where the bathrooms are). Only 1/3 of the spaces were filled and of those about half weren't open. I was very disappointed. I DID find a couple of brooches so that made the trip worthwhile. Then right as we were about to leave we found a roll of fencing for $5!! Now THAT'S why we shop Trader Jack's. We'll wait until the weather is warmer and go search for more bargains. read more

Disappointing dirty flea market. Not sure how the health inspectors havent shut down the food yet. Some vendors sell knock off items or illegal items. Im not sure why their management allows them to sell clearly illegal merchandise. There are better flea markets in the area such as Fleatique or the Washington flea market. This place has everything from produce at incredibly low prices to nostalgia items running the gambit from sports to movies and to toys and household items. Yes, it is a flea market, which means you are not buying from a Kaufmanns or Macys but rather from independent vendors that have items you may or may not want to buy. Weather has a big impact on your experience as there are great vendors that do not open if it is raining or frigid cold. Every visit has led to finding unique items, like the time I purchased a military grade backpack for a fair price that has no broken seams, zippers, or latches after 3 years. Bad vibes at this place be careful if you go... Bathrooms are AWFUL! Did you ever go somewhere expect one thing and get another? Brace yourself this place is not cool!! Outside sellers were not amazing finds, empty spots covered with tarps. Inside was literally a collection of heaps like mounds of junk. Just junk, not awesome old vintage cool stuff. Grant it a flea market you never know what you'll get. This was such a bad weekend for them. No we dont shop at flea markets for the restrooms but when you need to go you need to go... Dont go at trader jacks. We saw the bartender use the bathroom and there was no soap to wash her hands, literally return to the bar (we walked behind her leaving the restroom at the same time) and serve a coffee and a bottled beer! The bathroom floors are very wet. Questionably wet, dont let ur pants hit the floor. Management is a woman off her rocker, and she was ranting on the loud speaker about calling the cops and insulted a shopper calling them a "friggin genius" very sarcastically. And she has a team of security guards who basically chase people out all day long on her behalf. We were trying to buy flowers off a seller and the security guard approached the stand owner twice to settle his children down. Yes. Security was called in to calm children. The poor guy said sir, i have kids i dont see anything wrong here but she doesnt like how they are playing you have to make them sit down out of sight of her window. The poor guy was like please dont shoot the messenger. I dont know the sellers, the situation, or the lady who hides inside the house but... We left, we didnt buy any flowers. It was extremely uncomfortable there. Screaming at playing kids was enough to send us on our way. I dont know what i imagined but we left stunned overall by the experience. Caveat Emptor. I went to Trader Jacks and had a horrible situation with the bitchiest woman I ever met. She works in the office of Trader Jacks. I needed some information as to pick up something large and heavy that I had bought. She came tearing out the door of the office like a banchee out of hell and almost slammed 2 ladies in the face that were standing on the other side of the door waiting to talk to someone like I was. Instead of seeing what I wanted, she yelled and screemed at me and told me to turn my car around and get out. I needed to pick up something I had bought that weighed over 100 lbs and she expected me to carry it accross the lot to my car by myself. She refused to talk to me and wouldn't let any of the Flea market goons talk to me either. She needs to be fired. How can anyone with such a bad attitude hold a job. They have very poor customer relations, most of the employees there don't talk civil to anyone. Most of them are mean and nasty. There is no dealing with them. On the better side it is a large flea market. I've talked and I know some of the vendors and some of them won't go back to set up stands because they've had problems. read more

Senior's! I ,was walking in the Strip Sat 2.45pm March 16th, past Stan's Market ,there was a Senior Around 70 yrs old. Playing his Guitar i stopped to listen, on the west side of Stan's Market! a person told the Senior to move, that he can not play there. That he owned the Property. "Sidewalk " this person Happen's to be the owner of "Trader Jack's"so he say's! Bridgeville Pa.,Mr Jack! became loud and was Swearing at the senior, Mr JACK picked up his Music Equipment Amp, Battery ,which he get;s power for his Mike & Guitar, and throw it at the senior while he was packing up. the Battery landed in the Guitar Case, the Senior was Very, Very Upset. All this Man was trying to do was make enough Money, for him &his wife to Pay the Bill's. and have Food!!
