Beautiful day today and for the first time since Covid that I've seen people coming back and on such a beautiful day today. Vendors of all kinds selling things that yinz'rs can look around and buy. It was a great day to enjoy the flea market! Pics4yinz ~ Roscoe

Wow! That's what I'm going to say about this place. I've heard so many people talk about it and finally got the chance to go and was fully impressed. I'm a total bargain shopper and love flea markets so coming here was right up my alley. You can literally find anything! From produce, to book, to puppies and vintage signs - they have it all! We were there for almost three hours and I still didn't get to see everything. I was hoping to find more board games, but we left with some skin are products, fruits, cheese, bean bags for corn hole and dog toys. Next time I go I want to make sure I get there early enough to see everything. This is a must!

I do not believe that after five years there is not more YELP. pictures

Ask the Community - Rogers Flea Market & Auctions

Is there a Mary Kay representative there?

With over 1600 spaces our vendors change weekly. We do see Mary Kay products from time to time.

    Do they rent motor scooters?

    I know they rent rascals

Did some online bidding. Not many pictures, poor lighting and no descriptions. Yet I have had luck…read morein the past with local online auctions so I thought I would take a chance. Won A Few things. They sent emails with invoices and time slot pickups. 10 min intervals. Suspicious. Not much time but ok. We show up. Theres already a line. Maybe 2 women working. Slow as molasses. People starting to complain all around us. Couldnt find peoples invoices to even gather stuff. No wifi to bring up our own invoices. One by one they disappeared. Came out with one thing. Mark it off. Go back in. Awful. Its now our turn. (20 mins after timeslot) We go in with her and basically grab our own stuff and hightail outta there. Upon getting it home we noticed the filth. The EXTREME FILTH. The cracked pieces. The non working record player and game. Things that could of easily been devulged. I paid over 42$ for an extremely cracked antique platter. Lighting in pix didnt show any of them. As is - where is - i know but come on. The disgusting items were just the cherry on top of a truely awful experience. I learned to stick with more reputable auction houses for sure. Steer clear. And mind you. This is my 2nd review ever. So yeah, consider this my strongly worded letter. Avoid at all cost!

So, this is how Baer Auctions treats its customers!!! Some weeks ago, I…read morebid on an auction they are having through their websites using my login. I've bid on their website many times before with success. So as the auction starts drawing to the close date, I get updates that my auto bid has been increased due to another's bid and in some cases, I've increased my Max bid. Again, all through their website, my login on THEIR website. So, yesterday the auction closed and I get "4" email that I've won 4 of the items I've bid on, WOOHOO! I called this morning and asked if I can come today and pick up the items that I've "won"? Sure. I drive 65+ miles from Pittsburgh to Baer's in Rodgers, Ohio only to be told that the auction that I bid on thru their website was actually thru Proxbid and that I did not win any auction items. Katrina has no explanation other than there was a mix up with their site and Proxbid. As I ask her how is she going to make this right: in walks suction owners, Ken Baer and sister Holly Baer. I explain the situation to them and all he can say is to stammer and say is that I got an email yesterday from brother Wade Baer. I did not! I check my phone for emails from Wade or Baer auctions, nothing. Sister Holly says maybe it went into "spam", we check, nothing! The only emails in my entire system are my updates on bids and "you Won!" emails. I ask brother Ken, "how are you going to make this right?" Again, he stammers and has no answer other than " that auction went through Proxbid. Nowhere on their site did it say "if you wish to bid on these items go to Proxbid of through Proxbid". This company is supposed be professional and has many years doing this! This is not their first rodeo. So, beware when you deal with this auction house. They have no customer service sense!

I almost hesitate to write this review for fear I will spoil this special place . If you drive 2…read morehours north to Amish Country where Mt. Hope Auction is located, you will have seemingly arrived on another planet, in another time. If you want to avoid the typical tourist traps and experience something like from the movie "Witness", this is a trip you must make. The auction is HELD ONLY ON WEDNESDAY. That probably is a good thing, to avoid being overrun by, what is known to the Amish, as the English (that would be me). This is the place where Amish families come to buy, sell and trade their goods. I have been a few times now and find it utterly fascinating (I think they find me fascinating too) to hear the language, see the dress, horses and buggies.....just the tradition of the auction. Livestock, flowers, vegetables, clothing, kitchenware, tools, weapons, etc.etc. are available for purchase. Lots of things are literally auctioned off, but also you can just buy whatever. You can negotiate anything. The best time to buy food from the local gardens is in late summer or fall, otherwise most of it comes from the grocer. Still, it is cheaper and way much better than you would find at Giant Eagle and Krogers. Bringing a cooler sometimes is a good idea. BTW, it can be really dusty, so don't dress up. Along the way, you can stop in Charm, Ohio and visit both Miller's bakery and Hershburger's Farm. Both good places to buy bake goods. Hershburgers has more options of tasty bites such as popcorn, jams, noodles, honey, syrup, relishes, sausage, cheese, eggs, chocolates and whatever else I can't think of at the moment. There is an animal petting area for the kiddies which includes Big Ben, the biggest darn horse this city girl has ever seen. For real, BIG. Along the winding way, other sites include the longest covered bridge and Killbuck Marsh, wetlands. Oh and if you can't resist, there is always the traditional tourist trap in Berlin. I feel like I must say this......please be respectful of the Amish. They do not like to have their picture taken. Maybe a buggy shot would work instead.
