Definitely outside my targeted age range. Do i care? Nah.. i entered with a friend as a side venture after dining at Kura. What fun! First the space is inviting and fun. And merchandise? i found myself touching much of it and finding several clothing pieces i wanna come back and try on. I did settle on some watermelon scrub for this visit. Luv it! read more

The new Ross Park Mall store is amazing! it's big & beautiful, the selections are excellent and the staff are so kind and helpful. I love my new jacket. Thank you Urban. I'll be back! read more

I like what I see here, but that doesn't translate to my wallet all that well. I don't frequent this store very often as for fear that I'll be broke. But I try to practice safe shopping and always check out the sales rack while I'm in here. I don't always buy clothes when I'm here, I usually check out the other items from decor to greeting cards. I have bought several greeting cards here in the past and they are definitely not of the Hallmark variety. One such one will cause your friend or family to scurry to find a cassette player. Each card has a random cassette attached to it and if you're lucky you discover somebody else's mixed tape. Unfortunately for me, the one I got was blank. I also find some random novelty shirts here I wouldn't find otherwise. I got a great reverse print Mickey Mouse shirt from here recently. I love it and it confuses the people I'm around when they see it. A note to the wise, it is bit pricey. This isn't Gadzooks or yore. read more

I just walked in here. I was the only customer and every single employee blatantly ignored me. No one greeted me as I walked in, and one of the employees literally made eye contact with me without saying a word. I'm sorry, am I in your way? I'm not sure how you expect to make sales if you make your customers feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I'm headed to the mall, instead. Further out, but at least people will pay attention to me and help me out. Whoever manages this store should teach their employees about customer service. read more

I always find the coolest things in Urban Outfitters! When visiting SouthSide Works, I stopped in this location and loved it. The store was clean and organized, and the staff was friendly. Merchandise was stocked very well, and it was so neat and easy to shop. I definitely recommend the SouthSide Works Urban Outfitters! read more

The staff here is not very friendly at all and the clothes while cute are wildly priced. The best bet to scoring a cute find is to come during a sale and bring your student id if you have one. Certain times during the year they offer a discount. read more

Urban Outfitters, in general, is a "hipster", "trendy" clothing store. I usually find cute things that I want to buy. Unfortunately for me, those things are often out of my budget. In fact, I find UO over-priced. However, over the last few weeks, they've been having an awesome clearance sale. I got a great summer dress and two fun shirts. At clearance prices (50%), they are definitely worth it! This particular store is in a good location (read: not the Waterfront). I like shopping at SouthSide Works except for the parking issue which is mentioned in the reviews of other area locations. If you're here during the day--except around lunch--you can usually find street parking. During lunch, in evenings, and on weekends, you may have to resort to the garages. Many area business provide validation--I'm not sure if UO does. Another downside of this location is its size. It's definitely one of the smallest UOs I've ever seen, and they've tried to cram alot of their line into the store. They've got racks that are packed so full that you can't even browse them. I HATE shopping like that. I want to be able to easily find my size and pull out the items and look at the front and back. They're also not very good about keeping the sizes in order. T-Shirts that don't have XS on top and XL on bottom annoy me, and all racks should be ordered by size. It's not like they didn't have enough employees. When I was there, there were 5 of them on the floor, and only about 6 customers!!! read more

This is a fun funky store to shop in. They have a lot of clothing but they also have shoes and accessories. They carry jewelry, cosmetics and have a nice selection of undergarments for ladies. The style is very simple but stylish. They make looking casual look good-very good. There are always 20 year olds shopping in there. I always look to the younger generations to keep up with styles. It's a cool place to check out. read more

This rating doesn't apply to the clothing. I love the styles here, but I often see garments that are cheaply made for the price they're asking. With that said, I still like a lot of the clothes that I find here and there are good deals. Recently, they had a sale for women's BDG jeans, which are jeans I've worn a lot in the past. This review is for the staff. When I went into UO I was down to one pair of pants and one pair of shorts, because it is nearly impossible for me to find a pair of jeans that actually fit, but I've had success with BDG in the past. Either my size had changed or BDG changed their sizing a bit, because I had to go back to the drawing board with sizes. I had this Goldilocks experience where the 30 was too small and the 32 was too big so the 31 was likely to fit just right, but I couldn't find any in that cut! I was pretty desperate and was looking for a while when a female employee asked to help. She searched every pile that was labeled with that cut then decided to look up the jean to see if they even had a pair. They had only one pair left, so she contacted her crew in the back, in the dressing room, and continued to look with me and we finally found it. And they fit! I know this is their job and it's not a huge deal to anyone else, but damn! I was pretty desperate for a pair of pants that fit and I really wanted to take advantage of that sale. So I thought I'd come on here and leave a nice review because I found the employee so helpful. read more

I think urban outfitters is a cool store, minus the outfitters part lol. Cool book selection. Seriously. Random books that seem super interesting. They also sell record players and records. I find their jewlery pretty. As far as the 'outfitter' part goes.. I find it a bit overpriced and (dare I say it) basic. Most styles of clothes can be found at forever 21, h&m, rue 21 ect. Just my opinion though. Surprisingly though we do stop in often to check out their book selection or other random things they sell. read more

When it comes to hipster syles and unique trendy clothes, this place has the best selection. I think I have to say that Urban is hands down my favorite store to shop, but I think more than clothes, I love their uncommon gifts and items that they sell throughout the store. From flasks to books to dorm stuff to decor, Urban has some of the coolest and funniest items I have seen. Last time I was here I bought a drinking helmet for college, and just the other day I bought drinking straw glasses. You could seriously spend hours just walking around and looking at all the cool and unnecessary but totally wanted items throughout this hipster store. read more

This is a really nice store, but they literally do not carry anything bigger than a size medium for women. I have gone here several times to shop for cute things I saw on the website and I can't even find more than a couple of garments to try on in the entire store. I have never had this problem at other Urban Outfitters stores. The average American woman is a size 12. I would think that Urban Outfitters wouldn't want to alienate so many potential customers, but I guess they are going for a younger demographic at this location. It is really disappointing. read more

The only reason there isn't a five star rating from me is because of the price. Such cute clothing items, jewelry, accessories, but a lot of it is way too overpriced. No employees fault. I bought a backpack online and it began ripping two weeks later. I was nervous to take it in because I know how things can go there.. But, No! The two gentlemen and the girl Steph working helped me out immensely. Returned my backpack for the full refund and everything.. just VERY helpful. I will without a doubt return to this Urban very soon. read more

So I bought a pair of shoes online with a gift card, once they came in the mail I tried them on and they were too big so I reordered the right size, then I go back to the store to return the shoes that were too big and to return and then buy back the right sized pair with the gift card. The cashier told me this was "unorthodox" and that she'll do it this one time only but never again. I'm not making this up but I'm pretty sure she was intoxicated and I thought to myself that it is "unorthodox" to be intoxicated on the job. I left the store angry at the attitude and the dissatisfaction I received from the employee swearing that I'll never return back to the store. I should have never shopped there in the first place because all of their prices are extremely overpriced and unaffordable but I was unfortunate enough to receive a gift card at Christmas time. read more

I was very happy with the service I received, I had an online order to return the sales associates were so nice & helpful absolutely no hassle with the return. read more

This store is super cool! And am writing this review mostly because of the other reviews complaining about the prices when we found some great deals! We spent $128 and came out with 2 women's Ts and a scarf, 3 men's Ts, and a men's hoodie. I didn't think this was bad at all. Of course they also had higher priced items (that I may have to go back for) but there were a lot of great deals for people looking to get away from the typical American Eagle type style. UO was also having jeans sales, and shoe sales while I was there. We weren't offered a lot of help and the employees seemed more interested in talking to each other than the customers, or I'd give UO a higher rating. read more

I stop by this store occasionally over my lunch break and always just leave thinking "meh." Sometimes I see a thing or two that looks cute but am unmotivated to try the items on because the staff is so unfriendly. I enjoy looking at their books, jewelry, and home decor. However, they used to have a little home section in the back of the store, and since they recently re-shuffled the store, I believe the home section is now gone. So sad, especially since this is the only Urban Outfitters in Pittsburgh! read more

Good URBAN the 2 times we visited, they had sales (urban is very hit and miss with GOOD sales), bought more stuff than we expected both times. Would definitely (or as stupid people type definately) return... read more

The most Trendy shopping experience in the city. Great place to find whats hot and fun. A lot of young celebs have been shopping at urban out fitters so the prices have risen in the past years compared to when I first started shopping there, but the clothes are great quality made to last. The store in Pitt not only sells clothing but also novelty items, toiletries, music, cameras, books, ext.... ALL KINDS OF CRAZY RETRO STUFF YOU WILL WANT TO BUY! read more
