Nothing to complain about the shelf's were full and the place was clean I always go to self checkout which always have a short line. The prices are always better than all the other stores.

They have plenty of wheel chairs for people who have trouble walking. This is most appreciated.

My dad has sat outside for 20 minutes waiting for the grocery pick up and NO ONE in the entire store will answer any phones.

Smaller of the Wal-Mart stores but still has everything you need. Was built only a few years ago and has a Subway and Auntie Anne pretzels.

Whoever designed parking lot must like puzzles since this is a maze. This Wal-Mart seems nice but selection is limited.

Not sure what was going on a few short years ago, but I think things have changed a bit in here. This sits off 30 and is easy to get to when you are driving through the area. It is in a plaza with different services that should make for an easy one stop shop all around. There is even a bank attached that can aid in you one stop shop. The store itself feels a bit cavernous. Maybe that's why it feels like there are rarely any customers in here. The aisles also seem to be ones that aren't as tall as other grocery stores. I was able to see over into the other aisle while shopping for what I needed. But, honestly, when I stopped, there were more than enough people in here shopping to make it feel like they were desperate for customers. I had a few items I needed to get and hoped that by stopping here I would be able to finish up for the day and be on my way. I searched and searched and came across a few of the items, but not my entire list. As for the customer service, I happened to notice that the employees helped when asked and didn't do it in a nasty way. They were out stocking shelves and helped when needed. The highlight for me was that they have the self serve registers. This makes for a quicker exit as you can scan and pay at your speed and be on the way.

They just have more room to work with. The store in Irwin is very cramped. Now that Britons is closed, maybe corporate will decide to expand. But checkout is atrocious. Always backing up the aisle to where you can't get thru. Forget about buying anything in that aisle. Employees are nice enough, but never enough registers open. It's terrible that checkout clerks are also required to stock shelves, in their spare time, for only minimum wage. They're expected to work entirely too hard for the money. The Irwin store has a space problem, N. Huntington is much better

Anyone who lives in or around the Irwin area knows that the Target / Giant Eagle parking lot is crap. But I digress.... So, if you're looking for crafts, stickers, kids coloring books, etc. you've come to the right place. They've even got fake moss and thousands of glassware items, for crafts and the like, I'm guessing. But if you need toilet paper, forget it. They have something like two or three brands. Dishwasher pods, two brands. It's weird...very limited on some typical household items but got crafts and plastic hula hoops and cheap cell phone covers out the wazoo! The other downfall is there is virtually no employees working. I stopped in today to get a birthday card (which is nice because they have them for $.50, one plus!). I waited in line behind seven people to get my one card. The cashier was friendly and tried her hardest to ring everyone out quickly and in a friendly manner. No one ever came to her rescue. By the time she checked me out, there were at least five people behind me in line. Next time I need a quick something, I will go to Dollar General or Wal-Mart.

Typically the only issue I ever experienced was ridiculously long wait times for prescriptions to be filled. At this location, however, I had mostly negative experiences versus positive while using them for over 1 year as my regular/primary pharmacy. The staff, with the exception of the pharmacist, are not very knowledgeable or helpful when you call in with a question/concern, and only are helpful in person if they have a pharmacist they can refer to concerning information that pharmacy staff should know, I am nor sure if all of the staff are technicians or just cashiers, so I can't judge too much based on lack of knowledge. I filled the same prescriptions, written by the same doctor, every month for well over a year there. I typically did not refill my medication early, and I have never had a pharmacist treat me the way I was the last time I went to drop off my monthly scripts. An older, female pharmacist was working that I was not familiar with, however there were 2 staff members present that did know me. I gave the cashier/tech my scripts, and due to one if them requiring regular Prior Authorization, I told the pharmacist that I had seen my Dr that day and he had already submitted the PA but due to past issues with my insurance taking longer than usual to approve a PA, when the pharmacist said I could pick the meds up in 45 minutes, I told her I would be shopping and if there was any issue with insurance coverage to please page me to the pharmacy. She said that was fine and if the insurance covered it, i wouldn't be contacted, just come back in 45min.Summary- over 1 hour later I was finished shopping and went to pick up my scripts, that pharmacist approached the counter in an almost defensive manner and stated that she could not fill 1 of the scripts because she needed to talk to my Dr and verify a few things. At this point it was 8:30 PM on a Thursday night, my Dr is typically gone by 7PM on Thursdays, and is out of the office in Fridays, since I do not refill my scripts early I did not have that medication for the dose I was to take Friday morning, so I was very concerned that she would not be able to get in touch with him that late, and he wouldn't be back in his office until Monday, so I asked her what her concern was as I had filled that exact script-same medication, same dose, same Dr every month for over a year, so those prior scripts were in the system for her to access to verify validity, plus I explained that my insurance wouldn't have covered the cost without the PA that my Dr did earlier that day, I asked her how I could have processed my own PA, provided I had forged the script, I showed her my appt card for that day,and the appt card for my next appt, I asked her to check the PMP to verify that I do not fill any other narcotics. The only reply she provided to every option/question I purposed was "Corporate tells us that all we can say is that at this present time, that I being the on duty pharmacist do not feel comfortable filling this prescription at this time". I explained that I have knowledge of pharmacology related issues, that I worked as a tech so I am aware if what procedures should be followed in the event the validity if a script is in question, and I told her that I would just that script and fill it elsewhere, but I told her I would still like to know what her concern is exactly, and what initiated it She refused to answer any question I asked, so I took that script to Walgreens, and transferred all of my other scripts over as well. I also called the pharmacy manager and explained the situation, she did not seem like she was too concerned... The only explanation she gave was that the pharmacist that refused to fill the script was not from that location, and was unfamiliar with me, and my med history, and she was concerned that my dose was too high....I am not on the maximum or even close to the max daily dose, so really that pharmacist just decided that she was a Dr that night and knew better than my Dr what I should take/dose....sorry this review us so long, but I gave never been so offended in public in my life.
