As I walked around this store, I thought that the shelves were fully stocked and fairly well organized. I selected several items, including for health, hygiene, office, cleaning, and gardening. In the checkout area, two cashiers were working, but the line of customers was very long, so I had to wait a while. The cashier did a good job of ringing up and bagging my merchandise and processing my payment.

The store itself is kind of tucked away at the end of the one building. I honestly had no idea it was here and was surprised to find it. I came in with no intention to buy anything, but of course it is a dollar store and it doesn't hurt to look. Especially since you can get some pretty good items for cheap. Walking in it seems dank. Like it either needs an update or a good cleaning. I'm not sure which one would be more beneficial. Honestly the update would probably be more beneficial they could add a cooler/freezer section. They definitely have enough space in here. It feels a bit like a cavern with the high ceilings and how far back into the space it goes. I browsed the snack sections and of course walked out of here with more items than I intended on buying. Always a good stop for items, and it will not break the bank.

The nice women working there never had an issue doing this for me beforehand. Seems like a terrible way to treat a frequent paying customer. I'd really love to give the Korner Store 5 stars because I just love how cute and close it is, but I can't for the following reasons...First of all, the parking is bad. There are only 4 - 5 spaces out front, which you cannot back into, since you are coming right off of the road and it's hard to see up the hill. Simply not safe. Since it shares the spaces with the saloon next door, there are times there isn't a spot and you have to either pull over on the side of the road or in front of the apartments below it. Also, they only accept cash, which isn't a big deal for me because I try to pay for cash as much as I can. They do have an ATM though. Also, no hot beverages so don't go in for a coffee. Again, not a problem for me because I don't drink coffee. This is more of a small store for regulars to pick up smokes and play the lottery. They also carry water, pop, and other drinks, snacks, and some random household items like toilet paper. Another plus is everything is pretty cheap, especially when compared to other convenient stores. Cans of pop are $.50 and most snacks are $.25 - $1.00. Not too shabby if you are on your lunch break and need something quick.

Sometimes the mixed greens lettuce has old pieces in it. It's not bad enough to prevent me from shopping produce there, it's just something that I look out for. They have all the other typical aldi stuff, the specialty cheeses are great. They also have tons of different types of dips and salsas. The meat section is pretty good, but make sure you put your meat in one of the plastic bags they have nearby, because the racks that the refrigerated meat products are stored on is absolutely nasty. In the freezer section there's a huge freezer across the floor with specialty freezer items. This is PA, so there's unfortunately no alcohol section here, for those coming from out of state. But I don't hold that against Aldi.
